“First time we boarded our girls locally for a quick 2 night ski getaway. Teeda is very flexible, accommodating and easy to communicate with. After a quick meet and greet at the dogpark , she seemed very confident in being able to handle our two 65lbs+ dogs in her home. Richard was very welcoming when we dropped the girls off the next day and assured us that they would be safe. They ran right into and through the house to the fully fenced backyard with wagging tails. The dogs seemed very happy - I was relieved. “Lyndsey met Sweetie Petey, our high-energy miniature golden doodle and watched him for a day and a night while we went to Disneyland, closed the park, and picked him up the next morning. We have experience volunteering at the humane society, and have spent the last few years pet sitting dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.

About: I have grown up with pets all my life and constantly took care of, walked, fed, bathed my dogs & cats. My dog had puppies a few times growing up and I was responsible for caring for the mom and all the babies until they were old enough to leave. I absolutely love dogs & cats and have so much fun walking or sitting them! I always house sit & watch my friends dogs and cats when they are away. I am their go to person to ask. I work part time for accommodation so I am free most of the time to dog walk or sit! I only work part time hours. If you have a fenced in yard I would take them out to play or use the restroom! I also would take them on walks or if you want I can take them to the dog park or dog beach! Happy to do whatever makes you feel comfortable! If you need the dog crated I can do this as well. I will make sure they are fed at the correct times and follow any specific dietary instructions! I love being around all pets so I would be very attentive and always there to give them some love!

I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I currently am not working and have more availability until August 19th. Starting then, I will be unavailable 7:30-3 Monday-Friday. I enjoy taking dogs for a walk in the morning and evening time. I live a pretty active lifestyle. I don’t mind taking your dog for a hike. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like. I’ve owned high-energy breeds like huskies and now have a playful golden retriever. Whether your dog loves long walks or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I work from home as an independent contractor, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks and check-ins throughout the day. I love being outside, enjoy longer walks, and I’m currently training for an ultramarathon—so your dog will always have a willing, energetic walking partner. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can keep their day feeling familiar and stress-free. I use leashes on all walks unless otherwise requested, avoid unsafe areas, and closely monitor weather and trail conditions here in Tahoe.
About: I've cared for my family dog for the last 2 years. He's a husky mix, so I am aware of the needs of active breeds and I am dedicated to meeting these needs. I also cared for my boss's dog while he was away for 2 months. I stuck to their routine and gave them the best care possible. I am currently working with the California Conservation Corps based out of Meyers. I'm available mostly in the evenings and Fri-Sunday. Wildfire season is coming up so I might need to cancel or reschedule because I'll be on emergency call for these fires. I apologize in advance for any inconveniences that it may cause. I care for pets in a client's home by sticking to instructions and letting dogs be in their comfortable environment. I follow every detail about pet care to a tee.

“First time we boarded our girls locally for a quick 2 night ski getaway. Teeda is very flexible, accommodating and easy to communicate with. After a quick meet and greet at the dogpark , she seemed very confident in being able to handle our two 65lbs+ dogs in her home. They ran right into and through the house to the fully fenced backyard with wagging tails. The dogs seemed very happy - I was relieved. “Lyndsey met Sweetie Petey, our high-energy miniature golden doodle and watched him for a day and a night while we went to Disneyland, closed the park, and picked him up the next morning. Petey stayed in her condo as the only pet there. She was so kind and caring for him. She gave him long walks, took him to a dog park/run, and gave him lots of affection. Petey had a great time. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. At our home, dogs are welcome on the couch, are surrounded by toys, and can hang out in backyard to sunbathe and roam free. About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.
