“I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

About: My fiance and I have a Bulldog Lab mix with epilepsy named Asparagus. Seizures with a 90+ dog are difficult, but I do what I need to to make sure he is comfortable and not a danger to himself. My life long friend, Dodger, passed away at 15 this last year. She passed in my arms, after about a year of doing everything we possibly could to keep her comfortable, including administering ointments and frequent diaper changes. I love animals more than I love people and have been caring for all sorts since I was very young. I also have experience with cats, chinchillas, and an assortment of reptiles, rodents, and amphibians. My schedule is very flexible, which is great because I can make room for all the lovely animals out there! I am a bartender around town, but this never takes up full days. I am attentive and caring. I am also very observant and great at reading situations, whether that be with the environment or other animals or needs more specific to your pet.
About: I have watched dogs since I was young, both at my house and at the owners house. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time 😅 but prefer to keep it to 2-3 total. I have a dog of my own, a long hair-dachshund, that loves to play with all dogs. I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is extremely flexible! I am available almost everyday, all day to care for your pups! I just recently moved up to South Lake for college and am living in the dorms, so I’m trying to save up some extra money doing what I love! On walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy. I always stay alert to surroundings, and avoid busy or unsafe areas. I always make sure to bring water on longer walks, watch for signs of tiredness or overheating, and give them time to sniff and explore. I also reinforce good leash behavior with gentle guidance and positive encouragement. Each walk is a mix of exercise, care, and fun.
About: I have taken care of many different dogs and cats over the years and always go above and beyond to make them and their parents happy. I have worked with small and large dogs, one to three dogs at once, old and puppies. I love animals so much and watching them is always the best part of my day! I have my own business so I am able to leave and walk a dog whenever I need to! When doing doggy day care or boarding I will often bring the pup with me to the gallery so it can hang out. I am very attentive and any time I am walking a dog I make sure to be very aware of our surroundings. Even when I let them out in a backyard I make sure to keep an eye on them. I always make sure everything is okay before I leave (checking there’s no food out, making sure they have enough water, triple checking there’s door is closed and locked!)

About: Hello! My name is Alora, and I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like. House sitting will consist of me keeping your pet company, feeding, and all the exercise they need. If needed I can spend the night, or if you prefer I can come back in the morning. I am currently a bartender so I can be available to take your animals out during the day while you work! If you feel safe, they will feel safe! A home visit meet-and-greet prior to your vacation dates is always recommended. I am happy to care for the home, plants, and other household needs.

“I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

I’ve always treated all animals like family and I know I would make a good fit for most pet owners. I am working full time during week with off days typically mid -week but if you’re ok with being gone for a little throughout the day, I always have time for lots of love and attention. During this time, I sometimes have to be at work for longer periods of time on the weekends. So, it can be harder for me to accept house sittings for pets that need round the clock care or need potty breaks in shorter interval during the winter months.
