Wanting to spend as much time as possible with our dog, we dropped him off late and picked him up early and it was always no problem for Brenda. About: My experience with cats really comes from growing alongside my three cats, Cersei, Jaime, and Tyrion. They all have completely different personalities, and each one has taught me something different about patience, attention, and understanding what a cat needs. Cersei was my first cat, and we adopted her when she was only about 2 months old. She was the one who taught me how much care and attention a young kitten needs. When she developed ringworm at around 2 years old, our routine changed completely. We had to give her baths and oral medication every day, which was definitely not her favorite thing! It took a lot of patience and consistency, but we stayed with the routine until she fully recovered. Jaime came next, and he could not be more different. He is extremely energetic, playful, and always wants to be involved in whatever is happening. Soon after adopting him, we noticed something wasn’t right with the way he was walking. After taking him to the vet, we found out he had fractured his tibia. For the next few months, he had to live with a cast, which was especially challenging for such an active cat. We had to keep him clean, stop him from overdoing it, and still find safe ways for him to move around and stay engaged. Then there is Tyrion, our youngest. He is a much more sensitive soul. He can be very timid around new people, and with him I learned that sometimes the best way to care for a cat is simply to give them time. We never pushed him to interact before he was ready. We let him approach us at his own pace and made sure he always had a place where he felt safe. Having three cats with such different personalities has taught me that there really isn’t one way to care for every cat. Some want constant attention, some need extra patience, and some just need someone nearby who understands when to give them space. I pay close attention to those little differences, and I always try to make a cat feel comfortable on their terms.

About: I’ve had the pleasure of caring for my friends’ and family’s pets over the course of several years. I have given oral medications and topical treatments to some of the pets I’ve taken care of, and so much love (with a treat or two in the mix) to all of them. I’ve always felt a deep bond with animals from a young age. I do my best to make pets feel more like they’re hanging out with me rather than being a robotic supervisor. I can manage multiple pets simultaneously, having once had four cats under one roof in my care, and they all receive ample attention and affection. Thank you for considering me! I am a recent college graduate deep in the job search, but at the moment have plenty of time to hang out with your pet! I mostly just go to the gym and have the occasional board game night with my friends, so pet care is very easy to slot into my schedule. I read through care instructions very thoroughly, and I let pets introduce themselves to me when they’re comfortable. After we become acquainted I just spend some quality time with them and perform tasks as needed, like food, walks, litter boxes, etc.

I currently have three cats, ranging from 2 to 6 years old, and I adopted each of them when they were young kittens at around 2-3 months old. Caring for them from kittenhood into adulthood has given me hands-on experience with feeding routines, litter box care, grooming, playtime, and caring for multiple pets at once. I’m also comfortable caring for shy or nervous pets and understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I have experience with Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Poodles, Boston Terriers, and mutts. I love playing with dogs and just giving them all the scratches/pets. I always let the dog come to me on their own terms. I want them to be comfortable and feel safe. After work which can finish from 3-6pm Monday to Friday, I am free all evening to provide the necessary pet care I have a relatively smallish studio around 400 square feet that has a large window overlooking the city that can open but is not accessible (ie no pet or human can get outside just look outside). The pets are able to go wherever they want in the studio- bed, chairs, table etc (if they want!). The apartment is secure and inaccessible to most unless I let them in so is a safe home. I will ensure the pets if left alone are always safely in the apartment and have access to their food and water at all times. Extra accommodations like pads can be added to the house if not house trained. Animal safety and wellbeing is my upmost priority. As an animal owner myself, I understand the fear and anxiety with trusting someone to look after your angels which is why I treat all pets like my own and go above and beyond to ensure their safety. Open consistent communication is crucial to create a trusting relationship where the pets are at the heart of the conversation always so I will always send regular updates with photos throughout the day/night to ensure pet owners are involved and aware of what's going on
