“Wenchi was amazing with Raya! She sent regular updates with pictures and gave her the best treats. She was really flexible with us as well. We got married and she was willing come to the venue to pick her up directly after the ceremony! It was a seamless pick up. And the she was willing to drop her off to us in a farther location. We even changed the location a few times, and she was willing and happy to. We are so happy with her communication and taking such good care of Raya. Highly recommend!!”

“Jessie has become Edward’s home away from home. He’s very comfortable with her and always happy to see her. She’s very observant about changes in his behavior and is very caring and patient with him. He’s so much happier staying with her than in a boarding kennel.”

“We booked Ann to watch our pug for 4 days. She sent us lots of pictures and updates, which we really appreciated. When our flight coming home was delayed, she was very accommodating and understanding. We really liked how she followed all Covid protocols and her home is very clean and welcoming. We will definitely use her in the future!”

“We left our old, spoiled little Sam for a few days and we were very happy! Lots of pictures were sent and great communication! Will definitely do it again. Sam was very comfortable and happy!”

I additionally shadow professional dog trainers twice a week to continue expanding my skills. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all temperaments and am committed to providing safe, structured, and individualized care! I often work from home and enjoy going on hikes in my free time (with the dogs of course)! Specifics will vary dog by dog, but I make sure everyone is happy! Please message me for more details! I am versed in pet dog training, and place an emphasis on safety for everyone, including consistent reading of canine body language, proactive safety measures, and attention to detail. I’ve cared for many dogs with varying needs, so I am easily adaptable but safety always remains a priority.

“This was Michelle’s first visit with my busy kitty crew, and I felt comfortable, and knew they were In Good hands, the moment that I met with her. This was also a last minute booking, and Michelle was gracious and accommodating. Thank you for the care, and for making a last minute trip, possible for our family, Michelle.”

“Kirsten was great!! She was kind and communicative by sending me pics/vids with updates and was very reassuring as it was my first time having my boy away from home. I would definitely trust her to watch him again, 10/10”

About: I have been a dog lover ever since I was young and I got my first dog when I was 7. I took care of him until he left me. I feel like all animals around me are my best friends. I also volunteered in a non governmental organization in the Philippines to help out with animals who are in need and needs love and attention. Interned in a pet clinic which taught me how to prepare their medicine and inject them in their IV lines If only I could adopt all those animals who need a home I would rush to any animal shelter and provide everything they need. I think that’s what makes me different from other sitters and walkers because in the future I want to be a veterinarian and save animals. It has been my dream to help these lovely creatures. I’m currently a full time veterinary assistant who works Monday to Friday. I have an hour lunch so if its close or they are staying with me, I can swing by and check in on them. During weekends, I am available. I provide a safe environment by dog/cat proofing my place. I am very particular about making sure they don’t get into absolutely anything. These pets are treated like my own. Under my watch, they are treated the best care they possibly can get.
“Marya had our two young Frenchies overnight for their first time away from home. She sent us pictures and a video of them settling in and getting acquainted with her larger dog. She was very thoughtful in handling our little ones and communicated really well with us. We are planning to use her for a longer trip in just a few weeks.”

“Summer (our 18 month Golden) adores April and her family and is the happiest girl at her house!!! She gives her so much love and all the walks and treats her as her own. This was the 4th time we have used April when we have gone away. We always feel so at ease and relaxed knowing that Summer was in April’s care. So lucky to have found her.”

“What a great team Marie & James made! Our senior pet is an active part of our family. We were so worried he wouldn’t understand our being away on a vacation without him. Upon meeting Marie and James, our Cooper seemed comfortable immediately. Their calm and openly friendly attitude was apparent. True to their word, daily pictures and videos were sent with texts. Their experience with older dogs and administering of medications was a relief. Can’t thank or praise them enough. Super nice people. Thank you! Cooper thanks you as well.”

“Emily was very communicative and made sure to always share photos of our fur babies so that we could see they were doing great without us there. She always made sure to check off every need and went beyond our expectations in taking care of our cats. I would definitely recommend!”

“Rebooked Haley to check on our cats everyday while we were on vacation. I'm so glad I did because she always does a great job! The rover cards are detailed and included great pics. One of my cats is a little shy and she said she was able to pet her which is amazing to hear! I will definitely rebook her in the future.”

“Ally was so great taking care of our senior cat. He needs medication and some extra care so having Ally give him the right attention was important to us. Ally gave us detailed updates and pictures throughout our vacation which helps us know our cat is well taken care of. Highly recommend Ally for any pet care.”

“Cindy took wonderful care of Norman! She was very conscientious with his care, communicated well, and sent great pictures. Norman has a difficult temperament sometimes, but Cindy made him comfortable in her home and was able to reliably give him his medication. I would definitely trust her with your pets!”

About: I love animals very much and as a result, have much experience with them. I had a dog for 10 years that I fully trained from the age of 8 weeks, so I am very comfortable with puppies. Additionally, I have dog-sat senior dogs many times, for multiple days. I am a student at UC Davis currently, with class only a couple of times per day. I have a car as well so I am easily able to visit your pet multiple times throughout the day. I have no classes on Fridays or the weekends so I am usually fully free on those days. How you and your dog's usual schedule is, is what I will try my best to replicate for your pup. For example, if the dog needs to be fed or let out at a certain time, I will make sure it happens.
“Jessie is wonderful to have as our pet sitter! She communicates well and was so great with Oslo. She is totally trustworthy and we will definitely be calling upon her again!”

“Megan was fantastic with my cat Norman. Norman is a diabetic cat who can be aggressive with strangers when they try to give insulin, so it's often tough to find sitters who can manage him. I was so happy with how patient and compassionate Megan was with him. She was extremely reliable and a great communicator, and was able to make sure he got his insulin on time everyday. I would really highly recommend Megan, you can definitely trust her to take great care of your pet!”

About: I’ve always been around animals growing up and have walked for various family friends! I used to have a boxer dog who was my best friend, and I’m looking to be around dogs again! I’m a college student who is home for the summer that loves to walk and exercise while hanging out with your furry family member! I’m free in the mornings until 12pm, Tuesday-Saturday. I am open to dog sitting and dog walking during that time. If needed, I’m free after 9pm most days as well for dog sitting or walking! I’ve always had pets in my home and have learned over the years and growing up the responsibility a pet is. Your dog/cat is part of the family and they should be treated like that by everyone!

About: I’m a cat owner myself, so I understand that every cat has their own personality and boundaries. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, brushing, and giving cats plenty of attention while also respecting their space. I’ll treat your cat with the same care and patience that I give my own.

About: Ever since I was a little kid, I'd always wanted to get a kitten, so that's what I did as soon as I got my first apartment! In addition to caring for my own two furbabies, I have experience with caring for cats through petsitting and family members' cats.
“Sofia had great communication and updated me during every visit she had with my pug. Even though my dog can be stubborn when it comes to eating, she always made sure he ate and was taken care of.”

“Jessica was the best! I had her watch my kitties for a couple days and just loved her daily updates with all of the pictures. (She takes fab pics btw, made Kale look like a little model😁) My cats were content and relaxed when I got back so I know they were in good hands. When she returned the key to me, she gave me a little package with the nicest note and some cat treats and a cat toy which was SO NICE of her!! Will definitely be booking again, thank you Jessica!”

About: My name is Bella, and I'm a UC Davis student with a genuine passion for caring for both animals and plants. Whether you have dogs, cats, fish, frogs, snakes, lizards, or other unique pets, I'm committed to providing attentive care and plenty of play time to help your pets feel safe and comfortable while you're away. At 16, I started pet sitting, which has given me experience caring for a wide variety of animals at all stages of life, from weaning kittens to senior pups. I'm hoping to find part-time pet sitting work for those living in the city of Davis. If you have any questions, please reach out. I look forward to working with you! Whenever I have extra time in the day, I like to spend it with pets! As a newcomer to Davis, I'm hoping to incorporate pet sitting into my weekly routine while getting to know the community. My schedule is flexible, so I can accomodate to your pets needs. At the beginning of each visit, I make sure pets have a chance to go potty, then I check, wash, and refill their water bowls and follow any feeding or medication instructions provided. I like to keep a written checklist for every visit so I wont miss an important task! Once their basic needs are taken care of, I love spending time with them by playing, brushing, petting, or going on walks (only with owner approval and at appropriate temperatures!). Before heading out, I like to snap a cute photo and give updates so you (the owner) can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind.
“I felt very assured with Rascal in Dina’s care. She did a very last minute care for me. She was very prompt in her communication and was sweet with Rascal. Everything was perfect.”

“Best petsitter ever!!..Our kitty really bonded with Michelle..appreciated the notes and photos of the daily visits...Michelle was able to read our kitty and adapt to her needs..as she was playful on some visits and needed extra love on other visits..communication and response time was great..you can tell she has a heart for animals and treats them as if they were her own..would definitely recommend Michelle”

About: ** No charge for additional pets!! I adopted my first cat Bowie when I was 20 and he truly changed my life for the better. Since adopting him I've worked full time for a year in an animal shelter, adopted another cat (Chibi), and fostered over 10 cats with my local shelter. I've fostered a wide range of cats ranging from 3 week old kittens that required syringe feeding, daily medications, and extensive weight tracking to senior cats in their golden years. I've also experienced caring for a hospice cat which required administering medication, food, and liquids through an E-tube. As a fellow cat mom with a passion for caring for animals, I can assure you I will give your furry family member the respect, attention, and love they deserve!

About: I've always liked to rescue animals and care for them from a young age. So lots of my family and friends would bring animals to me or trust me to petsit for them. I've not only cared for dogs and cats, but also turtles, toads, and a few birds. I'm currently solely attending classes so I have plenty of availability for your pets to always feel well cared for during their stay with me! I have a fenced patio, luckily there are a few pet friendly parks that surround me. I follow any instructions given for your pet care to a T since no one knows your pet like you do. I have a housemate, but she is just as loving to any animal brought in.
About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. Starting at 14, I volunteered in local vet clinics and wildlife rehab centers, gaining hands-on experience with everything from cats and dogs to peacocks, horses, goats, snakes, fish, birds, and cattle. At UC Davis, I deepened my care skills while working at the world-renowned Vet Hospital, tending to cats and dogs during the swing shift. I also worked with campus goats, pigs, sheep, fish, cattle, and horses—and even fostered cats for the hospital. Now in my 30s, I’m an education professional and dedicated pet mom to both cats and dogs. I continue to care for friends’ and neighbors’ pets with the same compassion, attention, and responsibility that’s guided me my whole life. I’m certified in Cat & Dog CPR & First Aid, and Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/AED/First Aid, and have emergency care experience with animals large and small. I’m calm under pressure, reliable, and always communicate clearly—your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'm currently taking a break from teaching, and being a full-time stay-at-home mama to my 2.5 year old daughter. I have plenty of time to care for your furry family member. Please note that at this time, we are seeking families whose pets are comfortable around toddlers and children. I have a fully fenced yard, and a park just around the corner from my house for those whose furry friends enjoy a stretch, walk, or playtime! I am comfortable using a crate, and we have plenty of floor room in the house (carpet and laminate) for them to lay down if they're not crate trained. We do not allow dogs on the furniture. Cats are allowed to wander the house. We are more than happy to put up child gates to keep your furry family member in certain areas of the house if they're prone to getting into things (such as stuffed animals for the kiddos... I mean really, a lot of doggie toys these days look so similar! I'd understand the misconception. lol) We're not afraid to be firm but kind if your family member needs set boundaries.
“Marya was so incredible with our Rocky! She gave him tons of love and walks while sending lots of updated and pictures. We will definitely return so he can get more love! Thank you so much for giving Rocky a great day.”

“Sunshine and Shannon watched our dog while we were in town for a football game. They sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day (: he was a happy boy! Would definitely use them again if we’re back in town 🙌🏼”

“April and her family were so good to Penny! She sent pictures and kept me updated, so I could relax knowing Penny was being given so much love and attention! I will absolutely use April again!!”

“Kathleen is amazing! For Sherlock was love at first sight and he came home tired and happy. She understood my dog medical condition, asked thoughtful questions, and took good care of him. I will sure book her service again if needed!”

“Frankee come home happy and tired! Annie was kind and responsive and available for a last minute request. There were other dogs at Annie’s house so Frankee had plenty of opportunities for play.”

“We did a trial daycare visit to prepare for a longer stay in a month. Everything went so well! Great communication and several updates were sent throughout the day of them playing and resting! I feel much more comfortable leaving them at a new place for their longer stay after this visit. Thanks Achara for your care with the pups and I can already tell they are looking forward to going back!”

About: I grew up with large dogs, rodents, and have owned many scaly friends. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. Currently I take care of my thumbnail dart frogs and wish for more animal friends. I am currently unemployed but work on developing my own video game at home. When I am employed my jobs are exclusively remote. I like to go on an evening walk and sometimes I will be out of the house for a few hours at a time. Occasionally I might be out for the night but its generally about once a week or less. My home has a fenced yard, an atrium, 3 bedrooms and 2 living spaces. I also have an alarm system that is armed at night. I am happy to let dogs out in the yard and take them on walks. At my clients home I am happy to sit with your pets to keep them company and read a comic book, draw on my tablet, or play a game on my Switch.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!

“Suhani took wonderful care of my corgi, Willy, for a few hours, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. She went above and beyond by baking homemade dog treats for him, taking him on a nice walk, and showering him with plenty of love and attention. When I picked Willy up, he was happy, relaxed, and pleasantly tired—the perfect sign that he had a fun and enriching time. It's clear that Suhani genuinely cares about dogs and treats them like her own. I would absolutely trust her with Willy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, thoughtful, and reliable pet sitter.”

“Matthew provided excellent service for our dog the two days I needed support. He offered a public meet and greet prior to his initial services and paid close attention to my dogs needs. Matthew was prepared with treats and carried water and a bowl for my dog during the walks. He even went a few minutes past the walk to ensure our dog could keep a slow pace towards the end. I’m very appreciative of Matthew’s last minute support and hope I can book with him again in the future.”

With cats I like to spend time playing, setting up enrichment activities, and learning how they are most comfortable. I like to follow the routine of the pets parents to a T so as to not disturb the pets while their families are gone. I think having a routine is important for a pet especially when their people/family are gone.
“Xitlalli was able to take care of my sweet Bear this week even though my need was last minute. She took great notes for us and adorable pictures. I felt good about how much real time updates I got about how my Bear was doing.”
About: **I don't charge for additional pets!! I’ve always been an animal enthusiast growing up in the country I did whatever I could to be around animals constantly. In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. No matter what kind of care your pet needs I will do my best to ensure they receive the love, respect, and attention they deserve. I look forward to helping you and your furry (and maybe scaly) family members! I'm avaliable for drop-ins, boarding, and walking M-F after 2:30 PM! I can also do breakfast drop-ins during the week between 5:00-5:30 AM, or earlier if need be. I'm open and available most weekends for all pet care, I keep my schedule updated 3 months out! If you want to book further than 3 months just send me a message and I'm happy to work with you! My top priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe. Each visit, walk, or stay is individual and entirely customizable for your pet. To ensure your pet receives the best care I require an initial meet and greet, or phone call so we can discuss what the ideal care looks like. I prioritize customizable care, communication, and enrichment to make sure your pet has the best 'staycation' ever!

“Jessie has become Edward’s home away from home. He’s very comfortable with her and always happy to see her. She’s very observant about changes in his behavior and is very caring and patient with him. He’s so much happier staying with her than in a boarding kennel.”

About: I am experienced with caring for all kinds of dogs. I have access to many dog parks and walk them up to 5 times a day. I adapt to the pet’s needs to give them the best care. I have a golden retriever (6 mo.) and a labradoodle (10 yrs). My golden (Sunny) is super friendly and loves to make friends! I ensure that your pet’s needs are met and they have the highest form of care. I’m a junior at the University of California, Davis. I have a flexible schedule with my course work that allows me to be fully engaged with the dogs in my care. I live in a gated community so pets can’t easily get out. I take my puppy on long walks at the Davis Arboretum and have a dog park where I live which ensures they are getting their exercise and playtime. My apartment is clean for health safety. If I am staying at the owner’s home, I will apply the owner’s directions.
About: I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for 12+ years, with a strong background in rescue, behavior, and training. Since 2023, I’ve fostered dogs through Front Street Animal Shelter, including dogs with significant behavioral challenges. I also train my own rescue dog in sports and have experience working through reactivity, separation anxiety, and lack of socialization.

About: I’ve been caring for pets and homes for more than 25 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and have spent years caring for pets for friends, family, and through TrustedHousesitters. Earlier in my career, I worked at a veterinary office, which gave me hands-on experience with animal care. I’ve also volunteered with Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue, helping with transportation, fostering dogs in need, and walking dogs at the rescue. That’s actually where I met and eventually adopted my own Golden Retriever and Mini Goldendoodle! My family has been active on TrustedHousesitters for the past two years, both as pet owners and sitters. Being on the other side of the experience has given us a real appreciation for how important it is to find someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring to look after your pets. We love giving that same peace of mind to other pet parents. I work full-time, but spending time with animals is one of my favorite things to do in my free time. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing, giving belly rubs, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll treat them like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. ❤️ I work from home most days so am open to taking care of pets in the morning, lunch time, and in the evenings. I am available on weekends with a 1 week notice. I can also stay at your house and work remotely if you require someone to be with your pets throughout the day. I care for every pet as if they were my own, giving them plenty of love, attention, and care. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I do not like kenneling dogs so unless this is a request of yours, your dog(s) will not be kenneled. They will have full roam of my house and will have access 24/7 to the backyard via the doggy door.
“Brandee was amazing with my labradoodle. He had lots of time outside and play with other dogs. I loved getting photos and updates every afternoon. Will definitely rebook for the next time!”

“Thank you Reginay for caring for Queenie. She had a great time and I knew she was in the best hands. Lots of walks and play time. Pics and prompt communication. Appreciate it!”
“Zariyah only gives the best loving care for our senior dog whenever we go on a vacation. March, 2026 will be our 3rd time using her service in a 6-month span of time. We won’t use anyone else but Zariyah!”
