“I’m going to leave a rather lengthy review. I feel it’s important and necessary in order to accurately portray the anxiety and fear both myself and my pet had prior to our trip, why I felt like I had and then follow it up with just how wonderful the experience with Michelle turned out to for both myself and Lily (my furbaby). I was extremely anxious and hesitant in leaving my dog in someone else’s care. The quick “back story” as to why is that I’ve I NEVER left my pet in anyone else’s care (other than my son or husband) due to the circumstances in which we acquired her. Lily was abused and severally neglected, passed from owner to owner, multiple times within her 1st year as a pup. So Lily’s anxieties and fears of abandonment are on a rather high level, which in-turn only exacerbates mine. Lily is now about 6-years old and she is extremely weary of strangers and she HATES riding in the car (no matter time or distance). Our family was taking a trip to Anaheim from the Central Valley (about 5-6 hours in the car) for a five day stay. It was necessary to find someone to who could provide adequate care for Lily during the day, each day during our visit. Someone willing and able to work with our schedule, early drop-off and late pick-up but not just anyone…. Someone who would be patient, caring and nurturing to Lily while we were busy during the day. Michelle agreed to meet with us the day before in order to allow Lily to become familiar with her (as well as us with her too). We didn’t want Lily to feel as if she was being abandoned yet again. Michelle was absolutely an angel with putting me at ease prior to our “meet and greet” and upon meeting she had Lily warmed up to her so quickly. I’m a firm believer that pets, animals in general, can sense the goodness in humans and they’ll let you know rather quickly if a person doesn’t “check out”. Michelle is truly one of a kind, she is so good with anxious pets “and people too” 😁 Each day, during the stay, Michelle sent updates of Lily’s adaptiveness, videos and pictures providing both me and my husband ease of mind throughout the day. Which was something I really needed and provided me great comfort. To any future, potential “customers”, you need not look any further if you’re needing to entrust someone with your precious pet. Our pets are our family and we love them as such. You want the best for them, to feel safe and loved when they are not in our care. Michelle provides exactly that. I have had the pleasure of working with pet dogs who just want a good scratch, to dogs with insane drive who sniff drugs and bombs for a living. I've seen it all! Nothing really phases me, and I believe every dog needs a good outlet for their drives and to be treated with respect and love. Between walks, training, and check-ins, I'm pretty busy! But this is what I dedicated most of my time too, so it fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I love kicking things off with a Meet & Greet to bond with your pets and cover all the vital details before I walk them or do a drop in. You can expect regular check-ins filled with photos and videos so you never miss a beat! I make it a point to learn your pet's routine, including health needs, meals, and favorite games. Plus, you can rest easy knowing safety is always a priority; I thoroughly check all walking gear and leashes before we ever step out the door. I also work on their manners not rushing out the door so they are always safe (an open door doesn't mean a free for all). And as a bonus, I like to work on some light obedience!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a child and have had multiple dogs of my own. I’ve been walking dogs for over 23 yrs for my friends, family and neighbors’ dogs and they do currently rely on me when they need their dogs walked and played with, or just spoiled with lots of love and attention. 🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️ I currently work freelance so my schedule is very flexible and I will have plenty of time to give full attention to puppies or any dogs that require extra or special attention. About: I've been a cat lady my entire life. Until finding a litter of month old puppies in a Weinerschnitzel parking lot late one stormy night almost 3 years ago. About: currently working in an animal emergency hospital for 4 years! i’ve worked with dogs 3x my weight, and cats who climb the walls. there is nothing new to me in the animal field working 5 days a week at an animal emergency hospital, most are early shifts so i have a big bulk of my day free to pet sit! mentally i’m never really clocked out the key is to have your energy feel as if your at ease with the pet no matter the environment. they can definitely sense your energy! i’m high energy myself and can be the best for really active pets, whether it’s going out for runs or playing fetch, or providing mentally stimulating treat games with them!
