Cat caregivers near you - Camp Pendleton North
Prices are estimates per visit for 1 cat. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.

About: Through caring for my sister’s cats and pet sitting for neighbors, I’ve built solid experience with cats of different personalities. I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment and giving each cat the attention they need to feel safe and cared for.

About: I had cats growing up, and my soul animal is my cat Simba from when I was a young girl. I have routinely over the years helped out friends and family with their cats and feel very comfortable taking care of cats (even though we only have a dog). I have two kids (a 2-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy) who both absolutely adore cats. Our dog gets along great with cats and has been boarded at other Rover sitters’ homes who own cats. Your cat would be happily entertained and very well taken care of - an absolute extension of our family.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and started pet sitting neighbors cats when I was younger. We had our first family cat (money cat) when I was 4. Currently, I have two cats, misty, and Mischka. We love catnip, playing with a flashlight, and squeezable kitty treats! When misty was younger I trained her to use the toilet!

“I was concerned about leaving Luna for a week. She is a very needy cat, gets into everything and never leaves my side. She warmed up to Zoe right away. It was nice to get a daily report and know that she was getting attention. Zoe was easy to communicate with and reliable. I will definitely have her watch Luna again.”

“Linda was wonderful, and I highly recommend her. This was the first time we left Mochi alone for 7 days, and because he's such a social cat, I was nervous about how he'd adjust. What I appreciated most was how honest and communicative Linda was. She always kept us informed, and her detailed, heartwarming visit notes became something I genuinely looked forward to reading during our trip. It was so reassuring to know how Mochi was doing each day. I also sent her what probably felt like a gazillion notes beforehand. They were mostly backup information in case Mochi wasn't eating or playing normally, but Linda was incredibly patient and never made me feel like I was being too much. She followed the guidance thoughtfully and took the time to understand him. She also drove quite a distance to care for Mochi, and I'm very grateful for that. Our usual sitter wasn't available, and I was worried about how he'd handle both a new sitter and a longer time apart from us. Thanks to Linda, he adjusted really well. It was obvious that he was not only cared for, but genuinely loved while we were away. We're so grateful for her help and wouldn't hesitate to book with her again.”

“Awesome as always! Pays attentions to the details to help ensure our kitty is ok while we are away. I feel much better going out town knowing that Sarah is checking on our boy.”

“Thank you for figuring out how to encourage Fiver to come out under the bed! And your willingness to tack on another day if we needed it. Next time would you also check our mail for us? We were told there’s a mail thief that occasionally hit out street! So appreciate you taking such good care of our sometimes grumpy/fearful kitties!!!”

“Callon has an amazing connection with rabbits! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! He truly cares for them and did a great job communicating and sending pictures to me while I was away. “This was Dave’s first daycare experience. He is my grand dog. Sarah totally exceeded my expectation. Super fun backyard! Fun other dogs to play with! She brushed him so he was so soft when he came home and not is he tired! She is thoughtful and competent and we will be back !!”
About: Hi everyone! My name is Maida and I have had pets since a young age and have experience with dog training. I absolutely love all animals and will truly cherish any opportunity to take care of your baby. I have two little kids (2- and 4-year-old girl and boy) and one senior dog (13-year-old husky). We would assess how your baby would do with the kiddos and my dog for overnight boarding. For daycare or potty breaks, this should not be an issue as the kids are in school during the day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. most days. I live in Oceanside in the Arrwood community and have a fully fenced-in yard and beautiful sidewalks and trails near me for adventures. My dog (Bandit) gets along with most dogs, gets along great with cats, and the kids love cats and dogs too. If this sounds good to you, I'd love an opportunity to meet your baby and see how I can be helpful to your family. I work from home so basically your baby would be my sidekick. We have a fenced in yard which they would have access to as long as you are okay with that. We can start the day with a walk and then hang out together -- if I go anywhere they can tag along with me or would be safe inside my home. I have a crate if needed, a fully fenced in backyard and because I work from home they would be under my supervision all day. If I have to step out they would either join me, I would crate them, or leave them to roam free in the home depending on what your preference is and what's best for the pet.
“Mal has had a confusing time because his alpha, my husband, died unexpectedly last week, and he's had to move house on top of it. He is a rescue and already had separation anxiety. But he had a great time with Sandra, playing with other dogs, with plenty of room to run around, and was he was happy and not insecure when I picked him up both days. Thank you Sandra! Thank you for loving animals!”

“Sara was great; Everything was handled professionally and with care - a plus that she had her own dog to play with mine, which was important to me when booking; She even left mine with a toy to go - needless to say, my pup left happy with Sara’s care.”

“Erica and Felipe did an amazing job taking care of my pup for the day! They updated me throughout the day and sent pictures. Riley had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave when I picked him up! Thanks so much for taking care of my “cuddle monster” he had a blast!!”

“Melinda and her family took the best care of our girl. Riley came back happy and full of love. Melinda was a great communicator and made it a very easy and enjoyable experience. We are already looking forward to the next play date!”

“Shelly was amazing and sent lots of pictures and videos of what a good time Wally had with her pups and at her home. She made him feel welcome and he was happy all day! Thanks Shelly !”

“I needed a sitter last minute. And Chong was able to help. She had a fenced back yard which was great and someone was there all day to watch over my Bebe and the other dogs. Which I am appreciative of. Will definitely be scheduling more doggy sits in the future.”

“What a great experience! We left our 16 month old, 80 lb, high energy, Golden Retriever named Bailey with David, David's girlfriend Barbara, and his Golden Retriever Auggie. This was our first experience with Rover and Bailey's first time away from home. David was easy to work with and sent pictures and comments during the day. It was obvious Bailey enjoyed her play day. We look forward to working with David and his clan again. We highly recommend that you consider David for your furry family member's next doggy care need!”

“Alexandra exceeded our expectations! Our pups were overly stressed from our vacation and immediately became acclimated to Alexandra and her home. She sent us pictures throughout the day which was great! Thank you so much!”

About: I've been caring for animals since I was a kid, and it's never felt like a job, it's just who I am. My friends know this well, when they need someone to watch their pets, I'm usually their first call, because they know their pet will get even better care from me than they'd get at home. That's not an exaggeration, it's a standard I hold myself to every single time. On walks, I stay alert and play defense from the moment we step outside, watching the environment, reading the pet's body language, and adjusting before anything can go wrong. That same mindset carries over to the little things too: I always bring water and anything else your pet might need (with your okay, of course), because being prepared is part of showing up for them fully. My fiancée and I recently said goodbye to our 14-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, the best dog either of us could have asked for. He taught us that pets aren't just pets, they're family, and family deserves everything you've got. We wish they could stay with us forever, but while they're here, I believe in giving them the same love, patience, and attention I gave him every single day. That's exactly what I'll bring to caring for yours. I have a flexible work schedule, and since losing our own dog, I've decided to give those hours of love and attention to pets who need them. I'm selective about who I take on. I'd rather do right by a few families than spread myself thin, but every pet I care for gets my full attention and best effort, every time. No exceptions. Safety comes first, always. I stay alert to each pet's environment, anticipate risks before they happen, and adjust to their comfort level. That watchfulness, paired with genuine trust and love, means your pet is truly safe with me.
About: I believe in the freedom a pet has to do their business and for me to be their poop collector. I will help your senior dog get around if they need a little extra help or with your puppy to gain confidence exploring a new area. I have 3 dogs. 2 Senior at 11 years old and 1 younger at 3 years old. They are taken care of first thing in the morning and last thing at night. 1 has many allergies that we care for each day. When helping out at a pets home I follow directions of the owner. If the pet is allowed in the yard I will stay with them while they are playing and or exploring. I clean up after pets if they accidently make a mess or spill some of their food / water.

About: I have had dogs for my entire life and am very experienced with all levels of care from walking and feeding, to administering medication and light obdience and potty training. I am highly attentive, comfortable with all sizes and breeds, and dedicated to maintaining your dog's regular routine so they feel safe and loved while you're away. My schedule is currently wide open for the summer, so I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pups. I do ask for some advance notice, but I am open to accommodating same-day requests when possible. I provide a secure environment for pets in my home with at least 3 walks a day and plenty of engagement. I have a doodle who loves to have "sleepovers" with new friends. Safety is my top priority, so I can easily crate your dog if needed. I am fully able to accommodate any specific feeding schedules and administer any medications if required. I can provide the same level of service in your home as well, except I'll leave my doodle at home ☺️

About: I’ve cared for animals personally and understand feeding routines, potty breaks, exercise, companionship, and keeping owners consistently updated. I’m attentive to changes in behavior and take the safety of your pet seriously. I have flexible availability and am open to drop-in visits, pet sitting, and some walks depending on distance and schedule! I'm currently doing college online during the summer, so my schedule is pretty flexible at the moment. I prioritize each pet's safety, comfort, and routine. In my clients' homes, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, fresh water, exercise, medications, and any special needs. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep pets away from hazards, and provide plenty of attention and companionship. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away! My goal is to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for in their familiar environment.
About: I grew up with dogs and have always had pets in my life, but becoming the primary caregiver for my own dog as an adult has given me a deeper understanding of what quality pet care means. I understand the importance of routine, structure, exercise, playtime, rest, and paying attention to each dog's individual needs and personality. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their dog is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they're away. This is something I personally worry about whenever I have to leave my own dog as well. I am attentive, patient, and reliable. I understand that no two dogs are alike. I tailor each walk or visit to your dog’s needs; whether that’s exercise, enrichment, sniffing adventures, playtime, or simply companionship. My goal is to provide a safe, loving encounter where your pet feels secure and cared for while giving you peace of mind. I work a school schedule so during the school year I would mainly be available for drop in and walks. During the summer I may open up a bit more. My fenced yard provides a secure space for pets to play, though I understand that some pets, like mine, prefer to stay close by, following me from room to room. I tailor my care to meet the specific needs of each pet, ensuring they feel safe and loved.
About: I have dog sat for weeks at a time for family friends, and been referred to others. It is important to me that I take care of and love on dogs like they’re my own! I have experience with puppies and dogs in the process of learning new skills. I work part time and I am home from college for the summer! My work days end at around 1pm and the rest of my day is free to take walks/go to parks, and spend some time outside. I have two dogs that I love dearly and are great with other dogs. My family are all dog lovers and are always happy to meet new fur babies! When house sitting I make it my priority to follow they’re lead and make them feel as comforted as possible!

I hope you can understand :)
“Sarah is amazing! She’s been walking and pet sitting for me coming up on 5 years. She’s reliable and trustworthy. She literally has a key to my house and is like a second mom to my boys. She’s one of probably 4 people that I trust with my babies. If you’re looking for a local dog walker in the Tracy, CA area she’s worth every penny and will take care of your dogs as if they are her own.”

“Sandra took care of my dog for almost 12 days. When we first visited Sandra and her dog Max for a meet and greet, my dog Wolfie immediately wanted to play with Max. They played very well together and I felt comfortable leaving my best buddy with Sandra and Max. Sandra kept me updated with photos and text messages. I would not hesitate to recommend Sandra as a responsible pet sitter.”

“She took such great care of Lance! She was very responsive and kept us updated with messages and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was also very flexible with our dates and times, and that really helped make everything work out. When I mentioned that Lance has separation anxiety and tends to bark when he hears other dogs barking, she immediately told me that she has a similar dog and is very familiar with the breed. That instantly made me feel at ease and confident that Lance was in great hands. I could tell she genuinely cared about him, and I would definitely trust her to watch Lance again in the future!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience! Brandy was warm and loving and provided us with a lot of updates on our dog. We will book with her again and recommend her 100%.”

“The hardest part about being a dog owner is finding people you can trust when you want to travel. Whether it be out for the night or in our case, gone for the weekend. This was our first time leaving our dogs with someone from rover and couldn't be happier. We have an older pittie that isn't good with other dogs and a puppy that has lots of energy and is little over 1. Brianna and Charles put us at ease from the moment we dropped them off. They even kept us updated with photos and you could tell how happy the doggos were when we picked them up. We will definitely be trying our hardest to book with them when we need to book with rover again in the future.”
“Amanda and her family were so great with Bogey, and on were super flexible on short notice. She was patient with him as he warmed up, provided updates (including pics and vids) multiple times a day. You can just tell they’re dog people, couldn’t recommend them more!”

“I am so grateful to have found Marcy. She was extremely attentive to my Honey and was extra patient and loving to her. She did all of my pups favorite things, including sharing walks with her sweet senior boy, Simba. She even let her cuddle with her in bed! Since it was my pups first time with Marcy, she was a little nervous at first but it didn't take long for her to come around because of Marcy's constant patience and gentle reassurance. Her home and garden is very pet friendly and safe as well. There is even a lake nearby that the dogs love. I will definitely be bringing my HoneyBear back for another visit with Marcy & Simba in the very near future.”
