“Absolutely the best. I have a difficult dog, and Candace was extremely confident and loving with her. I have full peace of mind when she's watching my dog. Thank you Candace!”

“This was our first time using Rover instead of boarding and our experience was fantastic. Brandon sent texts twice a day with pictures on how Lola was doing. We were able to enjoy our stay in palm springs without worrying about Lola. If we stay in palm springs again we will definitely use again.”

“Jackson was straightforward to deal with. Responsive to phone or email contact. We had a pre-meet-up to get acquainted and then dropped Bentley off on the "leave off" day. He was anxious about our leaving, but Jackson was kind enough to send pictures of his stay for the couple of days he was there. All in all, it was a pleasant experience for Bentley, and we seemed to adjust perfectly. :-)”

“I booked a two-week vacation and needed someone truly special to care for my dog, Ella. Most kennels in the area have no dog limits and don’t separate by size. Not the right fit for my sweet, slightly bougie girl! Matthew offered the perfect blend of comfort, safety, and home-style care. His house is pet-friendly and charming, with a doggy door to the front patio and another to the back, so Ella could choose where to lounge. He limits the number of dogs he watches, sent regular photos and updates, and was wonderfully flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. Ella looked so happy and relaxed in every picture. It gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I couldn’t recommend Matthew more highly, and I’ll definitely be rebooking with him in the future!”

“I left my puppy with Katie for a night and did not worry once about him. I was originally nervous to leave him since it was my first time leaving him since I adopted him, but Katie was so great at alleviating my concerns and understanding where I was coming from. She sent me multiple pictures of Archie throughout the night. I already booked my next stay with Katie! Highly recommend her boarding services.”

“Alice did an excellent job with our dogs. It was our second time using her. We were gone for ten days for our wedding and felt very comfortable knowing they were in her hands. When our flight was delayed last night she was kind enough to drop them home at no charge so that our babies would be there on arrival. We will definitely use her again!”

I’m retired and home all day every day, so your dog will always have someone around. I’m around morning, afternoon, and evening love having a pup by my side throughout the day. “Sierra was super great and communicative throughout the entire interaction, from prior to dropping our dog off at her house and during our dogs stay. She sent messages and updates throught and was very quick to respond. Thank you Sierra for caring for our doggy so well. We appreciate you so much knowing our dog was in good and caring hands.”

“Katie took wonderful care of my special needs dog in a short notice situation. She was very easy to communicate and was flexible with me on pick up and drop off. She sent me lots of pictures during my dog's stay and checked in with me often. I can't recommend her enough! Most people would not open their home to a medical special needs dog but Katie did without a second thought. Thanks again for the wonderful experience. So grateful to have found you”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes since I was a young girl, and animals have always been a natural part of my life. I’ve rescued dogs throughout my adulthood and loved every breed, personality, and quirky soul that’s come my way. Even cats — despite my allergies — tend to walk right up to me, which always makes me smile. I’ll still care for them with love (and a little help from allergy meds). I’m an empath with a deep, intuitive connection to animals. Nervous, shy, senior, or sensitive pets usually relax around me quickly. I read their body language, respect their boundaries, and create a calm, predictable environment where they feel safe and understood. I also bring professional caregiving skills to my pet care. As a retired massage therapist and longtime caregiver, I can offer gentle pet massage, calming touch, and support for aging, compassionate end of life care and support or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable providing wound care, administering medications, and injections for diabetic animal when needed. What truly sets me apart is the combination of lifelong love of animals, my experience, intuition, and genuine compassion. Your pet will be cared for with patience, warmth, and the same steady presence I’ve brought to every animal I’ve loved. When I am caring for your loved one I commit to your Pet only. No other side jobs. No leaving to walk or feed another animal. I serve one family at a time whether that is 1 pet or 3 or more Your family is my priority always. I create a calm, predictable environment where pets feel safe, understood, and cared for in my Home or Yours. I will respect your home, your space, your privacy and the trust you placed in me.
“THE BEST! When simba and I originally met Brandon and William we knew we had found our dogs best companions! They were so gracious to invite us in and show us the space Simba would be staying in. On Simba's visit we were always provided updates and photos. Brandon and William are so kind and loving, your pet will go to the best home. Truly so appreciative for their care! Thank you!”

“Kevin was great. His communication was fabulous keeping us posted on our little boy. He even sent pictures, which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to know their pet is in good hands.”

“We felt so comfortable leaving Ruby with Joan knowing she was in great hands! Quick, seamless communication and lots of photos were sent, which we appreciated! We would definitely recommend Joan for dog sitting and will most likely use her again in the future. ☺️”

“I was so glad that Maggie was available to take care of my doggy again on my recent visit to Palm Desert. I think Chalie remembered what a nice time he had the last time he stayed there because he wagged his tail and did not even look back as Maggie walked him to her home. Indeed, he got lots of love and attention from Maggie’s son and seemed very happy on all the pictures she sent. I hope to use her services again next time I am in Palm Desert. I highly recommend her.”

“Jennifer took great care of my baby girl 🐶 (PomChi) while I was away for a few days for work. I got regular pictures and updates that let me know my baby was doing well. Will definitely be rebooking as my dog clearly enjoyed herself during her stay— Jennifer has a clean safe home and lovely dog Stella and I think my little girl made a friend! She was exhausted when we got home so I know she had a good time!”

“Lynn did a great job with Yogi! She has a nice place with a great patio where Yogi enjoyed hanging out with her dog, Lucy. Lynn gave Yogi some exercise with walks and visiting the dog park. She was also great about sending updates and pictures regularly. We look forward to using her services again in the future!”

“Don was great with our dog Jack when we had to go out of town for a few nights! He sent photos to keep us updated and was very accommodating when traffic delays meant we were late for our arranged pick up time. Don clearly loves dogs and has a great approach with them. We'll be back in touch whenever we have to travel again.”

“Chyna took fantastic care of our Corgi. She sent lots of pictures and videos of them playing, snuggling etc. She also is just a delightful person and we felt so comfortable leaving our dog with her. Will definitely call her again.”

“Thank you so much Erin & Alex! Thank you for letting Tobi stay with you guys in your home. We were kept up-to-date with messages and photos throughout the weekend. I could tell Tobi had a fantastic time with you both and look forward to using you guys next time!”

“Amazing experience! Melanie was able to accommodate my request at the last minute, which I really appreciated. She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of my pet during the drop-in. I also really appreciated that she was open to doing a trial visit first, since I’m looking for someone I can trust for longer-term house sitting in the future. Everything went smoothly, and I felt very comfortable with her care. I’d definitely recommend her and would happily book with her again!”

“McKenna cared for our 2 young cats when we were away from home for 4 days. She was always on time, followed all instructions and was great at communicating with us. She sent photos and updates every day. We would definitely use Mc Kenna again the next time we're out of town.”

“Bailey was amazing and took such good care of my kitty when I was out of town! I could tell by the pictures just how much my cat loved her and I’m grateful to have found someone trustworthy & professional in the area.”

“Julie is a lifesaver! She is a responsible, considerate sitter who got back to me very quickly, kept me updated showed up when she said she would and sent me great pictures and left everything perfect. I came home to a happy kitty! Thank you Julie!”

“We loved Lucy and our kitties did, too! We needed to leave on short notice and Lucy responded back to us immediately. We felt extremely comfortable with her and she looked after our 2 kitties with great care. Will definitely use her in the future.”

“Karaleah offered a meet and greet which made me feel that much more comfortable. We've been doing some short stays before my two weeks long trip this summer and I'm confident we'll do great. She has been patient with my scaredy cat who takes sometime to warm up to strangers. Karaleah is reliable and listens to requests and suggestions on how to tend to my cat needs.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We can’t thank Holly enough for stepping in at the last minute to take care of our pets! She was incredibly understanding and accommodating with our sudden trip, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. We really appreciated how attentive she was to all of our pets’ needs and how she kept us updated with messages and photos—it gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Everything was perfectly handled, and our pets were clearly happy and well cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter!”

“Amazing sitter. She is kind and amazing! She looked over our two cats (last minute) and we met her beforehand and my wife and I got a really good vibe from her. She is dependable and reliable. We highly recommend her (she also has many reviews so we arent only ones that think she is great!)”

“Such a relief finding Jessica! My husband and I recently moved to the Valley and have been looking to find reliable options when we go out of town to babysit our 2 cute young cats. We don’t have human babies so these are truly our babies! I immediately felt comfortable with Jessica and I could tell our girls were comfortable too. Our home was left tidy and I’m sure Mavis and Margaux appreciated having a loving sitter while we were gone. Looking forward to booking again ?”

“Samantha was great! She took our cat into her home while we were traveling for a week and sent daily updates with photos. Our cat must really like Samantha too, because she was reluctant to leave when we came to pick her up!”

About: I have a gentle, intuitive way with cats, and they often come right to me—even the shy ones. People are always surprised because I’m allergic, but I still care for cats with love, patience, and a little help from allergy meds when needed. I read feline body language well and give cats the space, calm energy, and slow approach they need to feel safe. Whether they’re independent, anxious, senior, or affectionate, I adjust to their pace and personality. I’m comfortable with: • Administering medications • Basic wound care • Supporting senior or special‑needs cats • Creating a quiet, predictable environment for sensitive cats My goal is always to help your cat feel understood, respected, and completely at ease while you’re away.

About: With over 11 years of hands-on cat care experience, I bring a depth of understanding that goes far beyond basic sitting. My background includes working with animal shelters, caring for energetic kittens, supporting senior cats with special routines, and raising my own three cats, each with their own unique needs and personalities. This range has taught me how to read feline behavior, adapt quickly, and provide calm, confident care in any situation. I’m especially attentive to routine, cleanliness, and emotional comfort. Whether a cat needs gentle patience, playful engagement, or quiet companionship, I tailor my care to what helps them feel safest and most at ease. I treat every cat as an individual—not a checklist—and my goal is always for pet parents to feel complete peace of mind knowing their cat is in experienced, compassionate hands.

“This is the second time we've worked with Shayna (we missed the review window on the first time) and we couldn't be happier having met her! She's provided both in-home overnights (10 days!) and day care for our 2 dogs, one old with medication needs and one young puppy. She is calm, friendly and professional and she clearly cares for every pet she works with. And our dogs LOVE her! She goes above and beyond expectations, shuttling our pups to appointments and even running errands if we needed something extra while we were gone. She already feels like part of the family and we look forward to working with her again. We can't recommend her enough!”

“Julie has been great with our dog. She is on time, keeps us updated with photos and texts. She is also very flexible if our schedule changes. I highly recommend her as a dog walker/sitter and will continue to use her for our pup.”

As a recent grad, I have lots of free time that I would love to spend with your pets! I just completed my undergraduate degree with a background in Law, Justice, and Society. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I prioritize clear communication, reliability, and making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable. “Bobby always has a blast with Matt and his pack. There are usually a couple dog pals for him to play with and he’s always beaming after his visits. Matt takes good care of our furry babies and is flexible when it comes to scheduling. Would definitely recommend!”

“Tanya was AWESOME! We brought our dog Sophie to her home for two days of doggie daycare and Sophie had a blast. Her yard was huge and Tanya was very friendly and playful with Sophie.”

“Charlie was able to meet Angelica a few days before his daycare appointment. He was very comfortable with her when we dropped him off. We were able to keep in touch while we were gone. He was calm and relaxed when we picked him up. We would recommend Angelica and won't hesitate to book with her again.”

“Super friendly and great vibe - my pup didn’t seem stressed or anxious when I picked her up after a few hours - a great sign! Thank you Cici! Will definitely reach out again when I’m in the area ??”

“Fantastic experience with Mara getting our pupster back into the routine of her daily walk! Rarely have I seen our girl so happy about going for her walk; she literally glows her special smile when walking with Mara! Mara also takes the most interesting, artistic photos of our pupster and shares with us.”

About: I can address the unique requirements of large and small breed dogs. I provide specialized care for senior and advanced senior dogs, ensuring their golden years are comfortable and healthy. I work full-time but seasonally at a large local hotel and my hours vary. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around calendar based obstacles. I find that most animals actually like to stay in their own yard, but if need be, I do have decent sized back yard and it is secured by brick walls / concrete barriers.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for most of my life, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. I know every pet has their own unique personality, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. “Marc is excellent. He’s prompt, well prepared and has a great attitude. My active dog had a strong workout and can’t wait for her next walk with him. I highly recommend Marc as a responsible, conscientious and motivated walker.”

About: Hi, I’m Brianna! I’m new to professional pet sitting and dog walking but I’m an animal lover and have been caring for animals my whole life. I’ve always had pets of my own and have cared for lots of pets belonging to my family and friends such as dogs, cats, and birds. Because of this, I understand that every pet has different needs, routines, and personalities, but they all deserve the same love, patience, and care. I’m responsible, reliable, and truly love getting to know each pet and making them feel safe and comfortable. I’m currently a business college student and take all of my classes online, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This allows me to have plenty of time throughout the day to care for pets, whether that means going on walks, making drop-in visits, or spending quality time with them. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so I’m excited to make pet care a meaningful part of my routine. I provide loving, attentive care based on each dog’s individual needs and routine. For doggy day care, I will provide plenty of playtime, attention, bathroom breaks, and a safe, comfortable environment. During drop-in visits, I provide fresh food and water, bathroom breaks, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I always follow the parent’s instructions and treat every dog like my own.
About: I grew up on a farm in England with working dogs, which gave me a love for animals and led me to a life working professionally with them. After 32 years of running my own pet care business in Los Angeles, I relocated to the Coachella Valley where I continue to walk, exercise, and socialize dogs, while also working as a dog trainer. I'm available Monday thru Friday from 7am until 5pm, so we can work out walks and visits depending on your schedule and your dog's needs. Your dog will always be walked on leash, with the exception of fenced dog parks. Dogs can be crated during transport, if that makes them more comfortable. With my many years of experience, I know exactly how to work with dogs with a focus on the safety, calm, and happiness of the animal.
About: I’ve always loved animals since childhood, growing up with my parents always rescuing strays. Over the years, I’ve developed strong skills in dog care, focusing on comfort and trust. What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my ability to make pets feel at ease through a comforting touch, a unique scent I wear to ensure they recognize me, and creating a calming environment where they feel safe and cared for. I also always make sure to send pet owners picture updates of their pets to ensure they’re doing okay and to always ask questions if I am unsure about anything. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine! I’m always available because I’m passionate about making pet sitting my full-time career. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just hanging out with pets, I love spending time with them and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. Caring for pets feels natural to me, and I’m excited to make it a regular part of my life! In both my home and my clients’ homes, I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I stick to their usual routines, whether that’s feeding, walks, or playtime, and I provide plenty of attention and affection. I always stay with them every step of the way, showering them with pets and ensuring they’re comfortable with me and their surroundings. I create a calm, stress-free environment, and if needed, I bring familiar items like toys or blankets to help them feel at home. My goal is to make sure they feel completely relaxed, loved and cared for!
About: Hello You Loving Pet Owner, You! My name is Samantha B., and I grew up loving to care for animals. In fact, I used to want to be a veterinarian, so in a way I've always been interested in Pet-Care. This has led me to later pet-sitting for my family, my friends, and some past neighbors. Now I simply enjoy pet-sitting for when I need to earn a little extra cash to help pay off bills and expenses. The current services that I can offer are Dog Walking, making Drop-In Visits, and House Sitting. ● I can handle walking two to three small-medium sized dogs at once. For big dogs, I prefer to walk them 1-to-1. On walks I will ALWAYS clean after your pet, and keep them safe from other dogs. ● For drop-in visits, I can provide 2-3 visits per day. While visiting, I will also clean up any pet related messes. *I can help with light housekeeping as well, but this would be a seperate service. Please inquire if you are interested*. ●House Sitting service is not a service that I always offer, but since it is Summer, I will be opening this service up. Please message me for scheduling. While house sitting, I will care for your pet(s) within the comfort of their own home. There, I can focus on keeping you pet healthy and happy; with frequent update picture and scheduled update messages; light housekeeping is included with this service. With frequent updates, you can start to feel more at ease while thinking of your pet(s) while on vacation, caring for family matters, or as you focus on buisness. I'm trying to save up for a new apartment. I want to move to a pet-friendly one, so this is for that saving fund. This also helps pay off some of my bills. I keep an eye on how much my pets are eating and when. Keeping a well planned schedule for feeding is my preference. As someone who enjoys being outside more than indoors, I make sure my own pets get enough fresh air and plenty of exercise.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for at least 10 years, mostly with having my own. I know they are a big part of our families and how much we love and care for them. I am great with playing and cuddling and walking and absolutely love it. I currently work from home and so I have plenty of time to schedule dog walks, care and dog sits according to what is needed. I have a large green belt, that is very private. It is not fenced, but I have the ability to take the dogs out as much as needed. I also live in a very nice area where I have many trails and beautiful areas to walk.

About: Hi, I am Savannah! While I am new to the Rover community, I am not new to caring for pets. I have cared for dogs and cats since childhood, and I am always the first person friends and family trust to look after their pets. Whether it is a walk or a drop-in, rest assured your pet is in fabulous hands. Pet care fits well into my routine as a college student. Monday–Thursday, I am in class from 2-3:10 in Indio. (Please account for travel time when booking around those hours.) Instructions on how to best care for your pet(s) are always appreciated as every pet is unique and has their own routine I can follow!
About: I have always had animals. From cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, cows, and sheep. From babies to elders. My love for animals has always been a source of joy in my life and I would love to care for yours too! I did just have a baby over the summer so I would have him in tow with me at visits. I am a stay at home mom of a beautiful daughter and newborn son, 2 dogs and 3 cats. I am available to come by as needed to ensure your babies are taken care of. I am very diligent in following directions to ensure your pets safety and your peace of mind. My pets at home are treated like they are my children and I know you feel the same about yours.
About: Hi there! I’m very observant and caring with pets. I have a lot of experience in senior care. My own dog, who passed in 2024, lived to 15 years old, was blind and diabetic. Because of him, I’m comfortable with special care needs. I am a full time nursing student at College of The Desert. My availability/calendar on Rover is always updated and accurate. I provide dog sitting services on a part time basis during the semester :) The months of December-Jan 2026 I will be taking some time off from pet sitting. Unfortunately my home does not allow pets so I can only sit in the pets/your home! I am excited to meet your fur baby and give them all my love, care and attention! I like to send a lot of photos and videos because your comfort is my comfort (Unless you ask me not to!) One thing that really helps things go smoothly is a detailed schedule & notes (written or typed) for your pet if they have any. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to keep your pup safe and happy.

About: Hi, I'm Sam, I have been a dogwalker/ pet sitter for more than 12 years. I'm a graduate of Dog Tech Academy and I'm also Pet CPR certified. I also volunteered. at SF Animal Control Center where I take care of all breeds of dogs. At the SF Animal Center I took classes in animal behavior, training and walking. I offer daytime walks around your neighborhood parks and in-house visits for your furry friends. I am also available for dog boarding or sittings at your place.. I live in Cathedral City and I have transportation so location can be flexible. References provided upon request. Thanks! Sam I currently have an open schedule so dogs that I take care of get my full attention. I also take one dog at a time, unless they are dogs that come from the same household. I have a large fenced yard and a gated front area so dogs are safe when they stay at my house. They are also welcome in every area of my home. I follow instructions provided by the pet owner when sitting at the dog's home.
“Angelica took great care of my furr baby. She was very flexible when my flight was delayed. My entire family is very grateful to have Angelica take care of Hazel. She sent us pics and let’s us know of Hazels day while we were away. 😊”

“Elizabeth was wonderful with our dog. We were out of town for 13 days and it’s the longest we’ve ever been away. She was so sweet and gave some extra TLC to our dog who was exhibiting separation anxiety. She gave us daily updates and our dog was very well cared for. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“It’s not easy leaving your fur babies with a stranger, but meeting Tanya was like catching up with an old friend. Tanya had my spoiled little pups feeling right at home. She reached out every day with reassuring check ins and photos. Tanya’s beautiful home is thoughtfully appointed for all your pup’s needs, including a well maintained and large backyard with secure fencing and plenty of room to run around, roll in the grass, or splash in the pool. Tanya’s attention to detail and questions about my dog’s wellbeing were met beyond expectation. I can’t recommend Tanya enough! My Canine Kids now have someone they love and I sincerely trust.”

“Mary is truly a godsend. My doggy boarding place shut down and I had never used to Rover app before. It took a minute from meeting Mary to know that I found the perfect person to watch and care for my fur-baby Gigi. She is great about updating with notes and photos of your dogs stay and I know after one stay that Mary is the best!”

“Judith was amazing. She was very good at communicating and sent me lots of pictures of my dog (even though my dog is camera shy). She was really flexible and worked with me when my schedule changed a bit. I will be picking to send Vexy to her house next time we need a Rover.”
