“Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”

About: My family had puppy dog named Hazel who we had for about 3 years. I used to play fetch with her in the backyard when I’d come home from school when I was around 10. I’d help with baths, walking her, my mom taught me how bring her inside when I was home alone doing homework, she behaved great and protected me well. A few years later, she passed from choking while eating something that I think had a bone in it and that was the first experience of heartbreak/loss. A few years after that, I adopted my current pet cat on my birthday, Ace, who I love so much. I’ve always loved animals and give pets to dogs whenever I have permission to, my best friend has many dogs so when I go over her house, I get all the cuddles and get drooled on, which I’m used to at this point. I love watching dog training videos and educating myself as I get older so when I finally get a dog again, as an adult, I want to be prepared and educated on how to protect their health, feed them properly and keep them safe with proper nutrition, exercise and training. I would personally love to get myself a Doberman or German Shepherd (Like Hazel was). I often go to my aunts house who has multiple chunky french bulldogs and help her in anyway I can, I enjoy how sweet dogs are and would love to help do any training techniques you’d love your little doggo to be working on while you are away. I am also in the process of my goal of losing 100lbs! So this helps me get the exercise I need while doing something I’m passionate about! Weekday and Weekends for now, preferably during the Morning & Afternoons on Weekdays and anytime as long as there is a day notice beforehand so I can clear my schedule just for your pet. Not currently doing pet sitting or boarding at my own home, maybe I will be more likely to in the future but I’m not sure yet.
About: I've always had a special connection with animals. My dogs and cats have been rescued, not from a pound but have come to me either from the streets or random place. Had a mixed Rottweiler pup who followed me one rainy night, named him Lucky. Another rainy night years later a kitten followed me to my door, named her Pandora. Rescued a cat from inside a car hood once. Found an injured red cheeked parrot on the sidewalk, who I brought back to health and released back with its flock. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I say with a little patience and lots of love you can teach any animal something new. I have had parents who's dog isn't so social walk up to me, sniff and ask to be pet. The parent telling me they don't EVER do that. Wouldn't mind a crazy active dog, love to stay active by walking around our beautiful parks. My week is pretty flexible I have a lot of free time on my paws. So your children will be very well looked after, they might get annoyed with having me around so much. Have a small yard that has a very small brick wall. I know the importance of safety and always having dog on leash. In-home in or out of crate is fine. And home visits whatever the owner is comfortable with.

I am a full-time remote worker looking to help out now that I have the space and time. Meet my pets I have been a lifelong dog lover, I currently have 2 dogs. My foster fail, Remi, who was rescued from the shelter a couple hours before being put down. And her son, Oso, who was a member of the surprise litter of 8. Remi and Oso are Cane Corso pups that are socialized with both humans and other dogs. Spacious enclosed yard on larger land to enjoy for daily walks. Indoor/Outdoor kennels available for overnights. Neighborhood is quiet except for some talkative dogs on the block but very friendly and easy going area for your pup to relax while you are away.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since I was 15! I’ve watched guineas, chinchillas, dogs, cats - I’d love to meet yours! :) I’m available to watch pets at all hours of the day - I live on a wide property with lots of room for running! :) With any pet I make sure they get lots of attention, patience and outside time. “Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”
