About: Hi there! I’m Barr, a wife and mother with a lifelong love for animals. We have a sweet 15-year-old Jack Russell named Indie, and I honestly can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have a pet. Animals have always been a huge part of our family, and our compassion for them is one of the reasons we chose a vegan lifestyle. I also worked as a veterinary assistant for two years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for pets and supporting their health and well-being. As a mom, I’m now looking to earn a little extra income while doing something that truly matters to me—spending time with and caring for animals. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! “We had such a great experience with Grant. He took such good care of my baby, she even came home with better manners than she had when she went to him. Kyra stayed with Grant and his pack for a whole week and the whole time I received updates and pictures of all the fun she was having. About: I have worked at a doggy day care that serviced over a 100 dogs and 30 cats at a time. As a kennel tech, I took care of the animals. I played with them, gave them enrichment, training, ect. About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

I have multiple rooms and baby gates for separation and quiet time. In general, I am a very active and outdoorsy person! So i am happy to take the pets out to the trails or the lake! I live on 10 quiet acres with a fenced yard. There is ample space to play outside or be kept safe and warm inside. I work from home 90% of the days so I can provide full time oversight and care. I also work a job where I can take the dogs with me if you approve! I am fortunate to work from home. I have the ability to provide care all day and night for your pet! I walk each morning and evening and have the option to take your pet out for a walk or a play on the property in both fenced and unfenced areas. I have an older dog who is very arthritic so I am used to caring for the elderly animals as well. Pets in my home have their own room if needed. I have plenty of space for crates. I have a large gated deck and live on 10 acres on a quiet road. My own pets walk daily with me along my road which works well for easy elder dog walks as it is shady even in the summer. It also can provide great training ground as there is little traffic. For the high energy babies, we can play fetch or take to the trails nearby. I have always had rescue pitties so I am comfortable with big cuddly babies. I adopted a cattle dog pup who had clinical anxiety which has taught me how to care for highly intelligent, high energy dogs as well. Treats, love, and confidence makes for a happy dog!

I live on a large property that provides plenty of space for movement and exploration in a calm, natural setting. For safety, I always use a leash during walks and outdoor time until a strong relationship and reliable recall are established—or always, if that is your preference. I’m attentive to each dog’s temperament, boundaries, and energy level, and I strive to create a secure, low-stress environment where they feel confident and cared for. Clear communication with owners is important to me, and I follow all instructions closely to ensure continuity of care.
About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. “We had such a great experience with Grant. He took such good care of my baby, she even came home with better manners than she had when she went to him. Kyra stayed with Grant and his pack for a whole week and the whole time I received updates and pictures of all the fun she was having. About: I have worked at a doggy day care that serviced over a 100 dogs and 30 cats at a time. As a kennel tech, I took care of the animals. I played with them, gave them enrichment, training, ect. About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.
