“Tian-Tian was an absolute lifesaver! We found ourselves in a difficult situation when our original dog sitter canceled on us the day before our vacation. We were scrambling to find a sitter who offered boarding and came across Tian-Tian's profile on Rover. Our dog is a rescue and has severe separation anxiety, so we are always nervous about leaving him with someone new. He is also very slow to warm up to people. Tian-Tian was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to have a meet-and-greet within an hour of contacting her. Within 20 minutes of meeting her, our anxious pup was eating out of her hand! About: I have over 10 years of experience with dog sitting, helping family and friends’ dogs. I have two dogs myself, a pug and a terrier mixed. They are both well behaved and trained, they love having friends over. I do work on the weekdays, but weekends are usually free with the dogs and kids at home. When our Weimaraner got ill and died suddenly I needed to switch from having our pet sitter staying at our house to the sitter's house so Dustin wouldn't be alone several hours each day. He also needs canine friends but is often reactive (growl, bark, snap if he is scared enough) and needs exposure, time and patience when meeting a new dog. He is not comfortable being handled (he is 14 pounds) by new people. Nancy and Roxy have been wonderful in keeping him in his comfort zone and gaining his trust. After several successful short daycare sessions we will start short boarding stays before our out of town trip. Needless to say I give Nancy the highest recommendation.”

I have been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life and I am very passionate when it comes to caring for animals. I have a very open and flexible schedule during the summer of 2023. I am usually available at all times of the day May 20-Aug 10. I provide a safe environment for the animals when I’m around and I put all of my attention and effort into making sure that your pets are happy and comfortable.
About: I am willing to share that love with all of your pets. As a kid I would go around the neighborhood helping with other people's pets, feeding them, playing with them etc. I hope to be a conservationist for animals and the environment because they are beautiful creatures inside and out that deserve a healthy life on this earth as much as we do. I am currently looking for work so I am pretty available at this current time. Please feel free to request a booking and I will respond as soon as possible! :) With my previous dog, I made sure she lived her life to the fullest. I took her on walks twice a day, to the dog park right next to the neighborhood but at a specific time. As she aged, of course I had to decrease walks or distance. We gave her medication through peanut butter. Last dog I dog sat, she had a leg injury, so I had to make sure she didn’t jump off the couch or do anything to stress her injuries. I always accommodate to what the owner wants for their pets and I loveee playing with the dogs. A previous roommate in San Diego had a malanois mix and I’d take her on mini hikes and spend a lot of time outside playing. Just making sure the pets are healthy, happy, and living their life to the fullest.
About: I am very caring for animals, I talk to them like they are humans and treat with love and care. So if you think I would be fit to watch you animals while away I can babysit your animals, I can care for your animals at your home if you are going on Vacation or out of town and I am more then welcome to babysit your animals until you get home, i can stop to your house and feed the make sure they have food, and if they are indoor dogs I can make sure to stop in to let them out, to go to the bathroom, play with them and put them back in. My approach is friendly yet stern enough for the big furry friends. I love big dogs as I have had lifelong friendships/experience with many Rottweilers and an entire littler of Labradors who are now Seniors. When I was caring for the dogs on the farm, two Rottweilers came as puppies while I was caring for another who was middle to eventually Senior. I would give the Senior medicine. And eventually one of the puppies grew up and got sick and needed medicine too. I believe the Rottweiler is my spirit animal for they always magically show up in my life. <3 My current dog is a big German Shepherd Cattle dog mix, sweetie girl. She is two years old and acts like a big puppy. She is curious with high energy. She is very cute and smart so she tries to test limits, but overall thrives to be a good girl. It makes me proud when I get positive feedback from those that meet her. I am currently working part time as well as studying which allows me to very easily fit in pet care every day in my routine. I am currently unable to share my home for boarding care. I’d be happy to care for them if they need someone present for overnight stays.

“Tian-Tian was an absolute lifesaver! We found ourselves in a difficult situation when our original dog sitter canceled on us the day before our vacation. We were scrambling to find a sitter who offered boarding and came across Tian-Tian's profile on Rover. Our dog is a rescue and has severe separation anxiety, so we are always nervous about leaving him with someone new. He is also very slow to warm up to people. Tian-Tian was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to have a meet-and-greet within an hour of contacting her. Within 20 minutes of meeting her, our anxious pup was eating out of her hand! We were amazed. It is clear that Tian-Tian has a special way with dogs. She is patient, kind, and clearly loves what she does. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in such great hands.
