About: I currently have a 7 year old cat who is like our child. I also grew up with a cat (that was with me for 20 years!). But my real love for cats started when I started working in animals hospitals, and I discovered that I have a knack for handling the more temperamental/fractious cats. Winning over a shy/scared cat is so rewarding (and takes patience). I am able to give medications if/when needed, but mostly I just want to cuddle them 💜

As with any new pet parent, we were a bit nervous about leaving him, but Amanda is doing an amazing job caring for him and very reassuring to us. “Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog. About: I grew up on a large family farm with all kinds of animals. We recently had two senior Shih Tzu's that each had their own special needs. After the loss, we are ready to open our home to new pups! We love all dogs and animals of all kinds. Our property is a large 3 acres. Our large backyard is fenced. We enjoy hiking and long walks. My husband works from home so there's someone always here for potty breaks, snuggles and treats. We do have one friendly, easygoing cat. Your dog must be comfortable around cats. We are happy to give medications or whatever special needs that you might require. My husband works from home and we are generally homebody people. I work about 32 hours a work. I am usually at work at 10 am and home by 5:30 pm. Our cat is self-sufficient and has his own bathroom space with his automatic food feeder and litter box. About: My family has owned pets all of my life. Part of the duties for my first high school/college drop included taking care of my bosses four dogs. About: Hi there! I’m Chelsea, and I am so excited to help care for your furry friends! Growing up, my home always had a handful of critters, from cats, to dogs, to chickens, and many others. I loved it so much! I’ve been house sitting for many years and have worked with cats, dogs, chickens, small mammals, and fish. Trusting someone else to care for your animals can be a little daunting, but their care is my first priority. I have worked with animals of all ages, temperaments, and need levels. I have given oral and topical medications and will work with you to fulfill all of your pets’ medical needs. I also volunteered at an animal rescue for several years where I took dogs on walks, cleaned their areas, and assisted with the quarantine dogs. Your pets’ needs are my priority, no matter what that may be. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to spend taking care of your pets! I am available 7 days a week, at any time of the day, whenever your pets need it! I am available for drop in services and walks at any time of the day. I will visit your pets in your home, where they are most comfortable, and walk them in areas that we have discussed. Their safety in and out of your home is my top priority.
About: I’ve been raised around big and small dogs and also have guard dog training experience. I love animals they’re my whole life. I also own horses!! I make my own schedule with training horses and love to do pet care in general. I’m very flexible and plan my schedule by the week. I live alone on 2 acres with a fenced pasture. I have no animals it’s just me, the dogs love it!! I have horses boarded in lotus
About: I've love animals especially dogs! I don't know what we would do without our furry friends. I have been house sitting dogs and cats for 10 over years. I have total flexibility. I love being outdoors, there are so many fantastic places to take dogs in our area. I am trying to be active as much as possible, so this is a great hobby for me. I give animals lots of affection, exercise, and attention! :) I have no preference in sizes or breeds, but please no dogs that are aggressive in any way. I have lots experience with puppies as well. About: Caring for and sharing space with my fellow earthlings is in my DNA. I had the privilege of growing up with cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, and fish as a kid. I've since cared for many puppers and felines (both elderly and young). I documented & created educational dog videos under the stewardship of the beloved Robin Wenham of "Wit's End Dog Training". I have experience with high-energy farm dogs that want to be taken on daily 3 to 8-mile hikes in the backcountry, as well as elderly dogs with special needs who need a lot of gentle TLC. I'm a nature-lover, and I intimately know most of the trails and parks in Placer County, so I'd love to take your pupper out on a gorgeous stroll through some of the most beautiful parts of this region. I currently have 3 fur babies myself (Taro, Auri, & Tensoon), and they are my family. My husband and I consider them our children. I believe in creating a Bond of Trust with animals involving positive reinforcement, patience, attentiveness, and, ultimately, compassion / empathy. We are lucky to share this planet with so many wonderful personalities. I believe that creating space for connection and play is not only beneficial for us humans, but for other animals and the planet as a whole. I am a photographer / videographer / social media manager. I am available any time Tuesday - Saturday, as I make my own hours and have freedom on those particular days. I have 3 darling adopted furry felines: Taro Sticky Bun (Baby Sweets), Auri (AKA Ducky Pudding), Tensoon (Mister Gentleman). My husband and I consider them our family, our children. We have thousands of photos of them and way too many made-up songs / jingles just for them. We adore all animals and often spend time walking or sitting our friends' puppers as well. I am Pupper Auntie to Jax, Mia, Ama, Rhiza, and Ari, and I adore them to pieces. I believe it is our prerogative to connect and play with all of our furry friends!
About: Our motto is to be the People Our Dogs Think We Are. Which includes trust, kindness, respect and fun. We have a big fenced yard for plenty of space to run around. Our house has a doggy door for easy in and out access to the backyard. Our dogs, Lilu and Bento are medium size, litter mates, that have been crate trained. They have been trained not to steal food out of hands and not to beg for food. We don't often reward good behavior with treats unless requested. We also trained them to listen to commands and for the most part they respond well. They have been trained on and off leash. They rarely bark unless they are excited to play. They love meeting other well mannered dogs and are very dog friendly too! Most importantly, our entire family loves dogs and we love to be active with them. My husband and I both work from home. We often take dogs for walk early in the morning before the day starts. We often take them for walks later it the day, especially as the day cools down. We live near hiking trails and will often visit those areas for more active hiking. We feed our dogs 2 times per day, morning and early eve. We have taught them to only eat from their dishes at the same time. If there is another dog that is not on same schedule, we will separate the dogs so they can eat by themselves uninterrupted. They will often be given treats throughout the day depending on what we are doing. We have a fenced yard to keep the dogs safe. We also have a doggy door or easy in and out access to the yard. Both my dogs have been crate trained and I can host other dogs that need to be crated.
About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and I feel that I have the skills needed to watch your furry friends! I always try and create that same loving environment that you as pet parents create in the home, with long walks, plenty of treats and friendly company I try to ensure a fun time for your pups while your away!! I am home for the summer and have plenty of availability to care for your pups!! Whether it’s a short walk or overnight stay I am willing to go the extra mile to ensure your puppies contentment!! I always try to create a loving and homey environment while caring for others pets. Lots of treats, belly rubs and long walks are always key!!
About: Ive been taking care of dogs for over 10 years. I love going on walks and just hanging out with them. I also enjoy giving dogs baths! My schedule is pretty flexible! I am usually free on weekends. I do not take spontaneous trips. All my trips are planned in advance so I can work things around it. I will follow the rules of your house when I am there. If you say "No dogs on the furniture.", then I will make sure no dogs on the furniture. I will adhere to any strict routine you have in place for feeding or walking. I will also send daily pictures of all animals while I care for them.
