“Christina saved my life! 3 days before Open Heart Surgery, I was without a sitter for my Poodle, Dusty. PANIC set in ,along with plenty of tears. I searched the internet and found Rover and Christina. I was nervous. Will he be ok. Have fun. Be loved. I didn't want him with a lot of other dogs....just in case. Christina called and within 5 minutes she had my nerves vanished and I was sold. We met and she is the sweetest, kind, and loving lady. Dusty loved her and her dog from the start. About: I have always had cats since the day I was born, and I’m very experienced looking after cats of all ages and temperaments. We’ve had tiny kittens all the way up to 15 year old seniors, requiring different levels of care and attention. I’m not scared of cats and will happily spend as much or as little time with them as they want (they always get to decide, naturally). Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I started dog sitting for friends while in college and have loved it ever since. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work during the week, but I’m generally available in the evenings and have a flexible schedule on weekends. I’m happy to accommodate different needs whenever possible… it’s usually just a matter of coordinating schedules in advance 😊 I live in an apartment with access to a dog park right in the complex, so there is plenty of space for walks, playtime, and fresh air. I also love spending time outdoors and often visit parks, lakes, and hiking trails whenever I can. If a dog enjoys adventures, I would be happy to bring them along with me :)
About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. My availability is very open and I love all animals. Since I work from home I’ll always be here to make sure your animal is well cared for and happy. I also go on multiple walks daily anyways to try and stay active so its perfect!!
About: As a graduate of the University of Arizona with a BS in wildlife conservation I have a special place in my heart for all animals. I've been brought up most of my life with animals, mostly dogs and cats. Their company, presence is special and something I have and will enjoy for the rest of my life. I have a Staffordshire bull terrier and my dad has two cats of his own I adore. Looking to work in my future as a game warden and have experience completing a veterinary assistant certification at pima community college and a certification from durrel on completing a endangered species recovery course in the United kingdom (jersey channel islands). This is something I've been looking forward doing for a while; having a wonderful time looking after such wonderful pets. Simply when an animal is happy I'm happy. I will always take time for your pet as they deserve as much time and attention as possible which I can definitely give to them. Make sure they are always safe and having a great time with lots of play and love, they are family and will treat them as such.

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about.
