For us, she was BEYOND what we expected in a good sitter. Our Shepsky hasnt been with us an entire year yet so while she is a good girl, we were reserved wondering if she would feel comfortable and how she'd settle in around strangers. Within a few hours I got a couple of the pictures I needed. Belly up on the couch with some good people and good pets. Rachael seems to know dogs well but is incredibly humble which I believe is SUPER important when it comes to keeping dogs safe and not making assumptions. When our dog was returned to us she was tired and even more friendly and settled in than when we dropped her off. I can tell she was spoiled! Upon eye contact she is now gushing and loving up on people. (Sorry, have to add: she was a day away from euthanasia when I picked her up at the shelter and to see her leave Rachael's home a happy, perfect little princess made me cry) So thankful for Rachael's care!”

Her frequency of communication left me with ZERO questions as to how my senior kitty was doing while I was gone. She took great attention to detail when it came to my cats meals and medications. My cats medication instructions can be intricate and even seem tedious to me on some days as I have to inject specific doses into individual treats and wait for her to eat them, and she took on this task with an open mind and heart which I was SO beyond thankful for. She would let me know when the cat was medicated which again, brought me so much peace of mind. She took wonderful care of my home as well. She swept, and did dishes. She left my place sparkling😊! About: I love animals. I worked at as a Veterinary Tech for 8 years. Where I walked, feed, medicated, and grooms dogs and cats. I am very passionate about dogs getting potty breaks and exercise. I love walking dogs. Animals tend to gravitate towards me when I enter a house. I also love cats and the therapy that they bring. Cats are amazing in the skills that they have so I love being around them. I am great with all breeds from large to tiny. About: I have had a dog since I was a child and have cared for all types of dogs, from a mini dachshund to a great dane mix. I have experience with shelters dogs, dogs with anxiety, and service dogs. About: I’ve had many pets growing up my entire life, however, I began being an animal caretaker since 2019. Originally I was a flying nanny so I was never home, but I was transporting dogs and cats all over the United States from state to state. I fell in love with my job until I could no longer travel anymore. Now that I work from home, I still want to be able to continue my journey with caring for animals. About: My name is Evelyn and I have taken care of my own pets for about 10 year. I own one dog named Bella, and we have 2 cats in the house. Typically I feed pets around 8am and take them out for 10 minutes for morning potty break. I work from home so there's plenty of potty breaks and just hanging around inside. Sometimes I'll take them out for a walk to the park .5 miles away. I work from home so I'm already taking care of my dog. Just feeding her and giving her attention throughout the day. Adding another dog for a day or as needed wouldn't change much for us. :) I first learn their feeding schedule and energy levels. Based on that I will make a schedule for play time with them, have plenty of water and treats, and a comfy bed for them to lay on.

About: There has never been a time in my life where I haven’t been around animals. I’ve had dogs, cats, fish, and even mice! I’ve been pet sitting for about 10 years now for friends, family, and now clients. I’ve worked in a pet daycare/boarding facility and as a bather in grooming for about 2 years now, so you can be rest assured I have the training and compassion to take care of your furry (even feathered or scaly) friends! After they passed, I volunteered at my local humane society, working mainly with dogs. When I was about 17, I convinced my family to adopt a puppy. I taught him basic commands, potty training, and basic leash skills. I currently own a cat who is equal parts sweetheart and menace. Being tasked with raising a kitten turned out to have a massive learning curve, but he is absolutely spoiled with playtime, toys, and treats. He is currently being leash trained and we’re working on anxiety associated with his crate. I have a PRN position at a children’s hospital, so I have plenty of time to check in on your baby/babies. I work a short Monday shift from 12-4PM. I have a hybrid pharmacy schedule, so I am able to attend classes from wherever I am. I care for all pets with love and respect. The main goal is to establish trust with new pets by allowing them to approach me with interest on their own terms, even if it takes a while. Providing pets with playtime and attention is a priority after their daily basic needs are met. I believe in gentle correction or making an activity more interesting with treats or a favorite toy when a pet is acting up or disinterested.
About: I've always had a love for animals and have spent years caring for pets of all kinds. I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, and even tortoises, which have helped me become comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and care routines. Growing up, before I had pets of my own, I loved helping friends and family care for their pets whenever I had the chance, and spending time with animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy! I also have experience with younger pets. My first dog and cats were all under a year old when I got them, so I am familiar with the extra attention, patience, and care that puppies and kittens need while they're still growing and learning. With dogs, I enjoy taking them of walks and making sure they get proper exercise and stimulation. About: I have had a dog since I was a child and have cared for all types of dogs, from a mini dachshund to a great dane mix. I have experience with shelters dogs, dogs with anxiety, and service dogs. I currently work from home and do not have a set schedule. I do have family dinners sunday nights and am typically gone around 4 hours but otherwise, I am typically only gone an hour or so every few days. I live in an apartment but love taking the dogs out on long walks every few hours. I have a retired service dog who will keep your dog company.
About: Throughout my life, I have raised and trained multiple puppies and taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages! I’ve spent my days walking, feeding, bathing, training, and loving my cattle dog and shepherd mix named Moose for the last two years. I also regularly sit for a miniature schnauzer named Gandalf the Grey and for a tabby cat named Ronnie! I am experienced in basic skills training and loving all kinds of little furry friends! I’m currently working part-time as a student, so I have ample time to check in and take the best care of your little loved ones! In my home, I regularly clean and refill the water and food bowls and keep my furry baby on a yummy and clean diet! He gets at least an hour of play and two walks a day, so we get his energy out and get him some healthy exercise! Whenever he is given toys, he is supervised at all times.

About: In July 2017, I did drop in visits for my neighbor Katie while she was on vacation for her senior cat Amber. I would visit Amber ( in the pics above) in the am/pm hours to feed her, socialize with her, provide fresh water, remove & throw away the cat litter. She loves to purr & walk between my legs & rubs on head on my legs! She doesn't like to be held so it was a miracle she allowed me to hold in the pics above (smile)! I've had pets (dogs, cats, fish & turtle)throughout my life and loved their companionship. I've volunteered at the Humane Society walking, socializing with the dogs & educated potential human companions on a weekly basis about the the types of the pets that may be the best for them, what and how lifestyle dictates the best companionship for both animals and humans, is the human active on a daily/weekly basis, then I might suggest adopting a young Jack Russell Terrier, they definitely need a twice a day walk or it's a senior who wants companionship, then maybe a basset hound whose 5+ years old may be a good fit for both. Cats can be good choices for companionship. In some situations may be easier, they don't require any walking as you would with a dog. They will use their litter box. I work remote and virtual so I can provide and give the attention, care and love to your fur babies in your home, plus, walking the dogs. Currently my housing situation does not allow me to board animals. So I'm not able to offer those services. I desire to house and pet sit in the customers home.
About: I love all animals! I get along with animals and respect their boundaries. I grew up with cats, but I have watched my friends’ dogs as well. I am currently about to go back to college after taking a break and I am a substitute teacher! I already take care of my own pet and enjoy it, so why not help others, as well?
