“We left our two 2 year-old canine companions with Lara and her family, which included four dogs of her own along with several borders, for nine nights. It was the first time we had left them anywhere. They had a fantastic time, playing incessantly with the other dogs. Lara sent us pictures and videos daily that showed clearly how comfortable they were and how much they were enjoying the stay. She has a large property, and the canines were essentially afforded free access to the large back yard as Lara kept a door open. She had several large dog beds around the house, some big enough that our two could sleep together, which improved their sense of comfort. We will definitely use Lara again if the need arises. Lastly, her rate was very reasonable given the outstanding setting and attention given to our two dogs.”

I walked dogs for two years before COVID happened. I am a work-at-home mom with three kids (9 years old to an infant) and two pups. I am available on weekdays, weekends, days & nights! We are huge pet lovers here. I have three kids to keep your pets stimulated and busy. I also have a fenced yard and a two-story house. We also live close to a dog park if you've taken your dogs to a dog park and are comfortable with me doing so. I have two dogs to play with your dogs. About: Bonafide Animal Lover! I grew up on a farm caring for many different animals & have always had either cats and/or dogs in my adult life. Most recent, I cared for our two adult male shepherds in all aspects - training, feeding, walking, nurturing and our two adult cats - training, feeding, activity and nurturing. My pets are part of my family & I will provide the same level of care to your pets as well! (To avoid any confusion, my full name is “Sylvia Annette” - I usually go by my middle name “Annette” but will respond to either here. I am a semi-retired remote bookkeeper and empty nester therefore I am home most of the time and have plenty of time to do drop in visits, walking, house sitting or boarding. My caution level for keeping my pets safe and well cared for is very high. They are part of my family. I focus on their daily feeding schedule, ensure the catbox is kept clean daily, play with them (laser pointer and feather toy) for their exercise, and provide lots of love and cuddles too. When I have our shepherds, I walk them daily and play fetch and tug of war with a ball or rope.

About: I’ve had multiple types of animals since I was a young kid. I’ve raised several litters of labradors, I had a horse ranch for 15 1/2 years, we had six dogs and six cats and 20 horses on the ranch. I had to train the dogs and my barn cat to be around horses, so they wouldn’t get kicked or stepped on. I am retired, so I am pretty flexible for morning visits or walking, also afternoon visits are walking. I can board at my house if needed, I have 5 acres, all fenced, so plenty of room to run if you’d like to bring your pups to the house. I have two very friendly dogs, also two different size crates if they’re needed.

About: Hello! I am a pet lover who grew up with Boston terriers for 20+ years. I also grew up working with dogs (Border Collies) on ranches, working side by side on various tasks. Because of my experience and comfort with dogs, I have been dog-sitting for friends and family my whole life. I have some experience caring for cats, including my sisters' and friends' cats (5+ years). I am very active and can exercise or entertain your pet with play or runs. I have rarely met a dog I couldn't build trust with. I am working a full-time position at the University of Arizona. I am free from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m., 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays. I have full availability on weekends. I ensure to follow all the rules the pet owner has established. I will use commands and language the dog is familiar with to avoid confusion. I make sure the pets are exercised 2-3 times a day. Cleaned and brushed if needed. I am mindful of water intake and make sure that all pets are kept on their usual schedule.

“We left our two 2 year-old canine companions with Lara and her family, which included four dogs of her own along with several borders, for nine nights. It was the first time we had left them anywhere. They had a fantastic time, playing incessantly with the other dogs. Lara sent us pictures and videos daily that showed clearly how comfortable they were and how much they were enjoying the stay. She has a large property, and the canines were essentially afforded free access to the large back yard as Lara kept a door open. She had several large dog beds around the house, some big enough that our two could sleep together, which improved their sense of comfort. We will definitely use Lara again if the need arises. Lastly, her rate was very reasonable given the outstanding setting and attention given to our two dogs.”
