“I boarded my 20 pound Miniature Schnauzer with Ron for a period of ten days while in Hawaii. My pup is an important part of my family and I want him to feel as if he is also having a vacation while I am away. After carefully researching every available boarding option I decided on Ron. I met Ron for a meet and greet before the actual boarding and his responsible and trustworthy nature was evident. Ron also has a beautifully landscaped and secure back yard. Lastly, Ron's Poodle Lily made an excellent companion to my proportionately sized Miniature Schnauzer. In my opinion, the combination of these qualities make's Ron the best choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My schnauzer had a joyous time frolicking and cuddling with Ron's poodle while I was away. Ron did a great job of sending photos. The photos showed that my pup was eating, enjoying time on the couch and even cuddled in bed next to Ron's poodle. I received photos throughout my trip (not just the first few days) and these photos convinced me that my pup was having just as much fun as I was. Ron is a primary school teacher which is an occupation that I have much respect for and is illustrative of his good character. Ron also has a love of plants which is evident in his beautiful green yard with lots of shady places for dogs to rest and play. I was also very pleased that Ron has a dog door that my 20 pound schnauzer was able to fit through easily for constant back yard access. Overall, I do not think there is a better choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My pup actually seemed sad to leave Ron and his poodle Lily. It was a great opportunity for my dog to socialize and play with another well trained dog. My dog came back happy, well exercised and without a trace of anxiety. In conclusion, Ron is a kind, intelligent, and caring animal lover. I would not hesitate to board my much loved miniature schnauzer with him next time I go on vacation. Ron's tranquil home and general attitude make the experience a vacation for your pet.”
“Carina and her family were absolutely wonderful to Noah. We needed a last minute sitter for longterm care and she was quick in responding to us. We were hesitant at first as we never booked a sitter prior to this and Noah was adopted from PACC within the year so we couldn't provide 100% information about his character. Carina was very patient with him and took him on walks he had many cuddles with her family. She updated us frequently while we were out of the country and even offered to purchase his treats that we forgot to leave with her. We will 100% rebook with her the next time we are in need! About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I found myself being the one to watch the dogs the most. I have done many overnight sittings. I've done day time dog sitting for my sister as well. Making sure to follow my better judgment and any instructions left behind for me. I watch my sister's dogs almost every week for two days, originally it was three days but her schedule changed. I'm mostly available any day of the week. Well I make sure to try and keep the space as clean as possible. If I am given instructions for pet care like how to feed, when they should have treats, etc I make sure to follow. I am very communicative when it come to pets, I will send pictures and ask questions if I need to. I try to keep everything as the same as I arrived.

About: I’ve been the resident animal lover my whole life. I started as the caretaker for the family dog at 11 years old and have my own dogs as well. I’ve raised, trained, pet sat, and boarded dogs (and the occasional cat) for 20+ years. I have experience with toy to giant breed dogs as well as all energy levels. My home is a mixture between calm and energetic but I always make sure we make adjustments so that pets can feel the most comfortable while they are here. I am home all day during the week and most weekends. I will step out for up to 2 hours at a time for school pick ups/drop offs and errand runs. I have a 5ft fenced yard with locking gates. There are currently 2 dogs living in the home — a 1 year old lab mix and a 10 year old golden retriever. About: I have had numerous dogs over the years. I currently have 4 - a beagle mix who came to us with a broken paw and 3 jack-a-poos (from the same litter). Being a home schooling grandparent, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I start the day with our feeding routine, cleaning the back yard while spending time with the pups, and cleaning litter boxes. All of my pets are indoors only. Since I am home with grandchildren during the day, we have a lot of time to cuddle and play with pets.

I’d love to fill some of my time making sure your pets feel happy, safe, and loved. In my home, pets have access to a safe, fenced yard where they can play and explore. I live with two friendly dogs and two shy but affectionate cats, who enjoy snuggling and playing with new furry friends once they feel comfortable. We have plenty of toys to keep pets entertained, and I make sure everyone feels safe, loved, and included. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their routine and comfort, giving them attention, playtime, and affection while respecting their space and environment. My goal is always to help pets feel secure and happy, whether they’re at home or visiting mine.
About: I want to open our home for dogs that need to feel loved and comforted while their family is away. I have had a pet most of my life. Different breeds from a small terrier to large dogs. Currently we have an older lab that loves everyone. We choose a Labrador after training puppies with Guide Dogs for the Blind for 5years. I like fun energetic pets as well as slow moving or special needs. I will take pictures and videos so you can see how your family pet is doing. We retired to Green Valley 13 years ago. One of us is always home, but I will be the primary care given for your pet. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to care for your precious family member. My husband and I are retired and home full time.With a fenced back yard for your pet. And many areas to walk . If you have an early riser, I'm up at 5:30 daily. Our home has an enclosed front court yard. And a 3ft6inch brick wall in back. I keep only plants I can see under for the safety of my animals.

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life, my first was a great dane. Now I have 3 dogs in varying sizes from 14lb-175lb that I love deeply. No dog scares me no matter the aggressiveness because I will always find a way to show I am friendly. I am a Student at ASU, my schedule is set and i go to classes from 1:30pm-5:45pm mon/wed, 11:00am-2:00pm tues, 10:00am- 12:00pm thurs. My Fridays and weekends I have completely off. All my life it was my enjoyable duty to feed and give water to my dogs, cleaned up any mess wether it’s something they tore up or bodily fluids. I pick up poop outside. I also just play and give my dogs the love they deserve.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. You name the animal, I’ve lived with it and cared for it! From horses, to chickens, to birds, to cats, to dogs, I’ve done it all! Along with this, I have experience with animals small and large, so the size of your baby means absolutely nothing negative to me! I know it can be hard to find a sitter for a breed that may be a little more intimidating to some, but I believe that every animal deserves the same love. I have experience giving dogs pills, and I know how particular they can be about taking them. That’s nothing to worry about with me, I always make sure to find something specific to that dog that will get them to take their medicine! I also know how hard it can be to find a sitter for a rescue, especially one who is still timid. I’ve grown up with rescues, and know the level of patience and love they need to be shown. I am also able to provide support to senior dogs or dogs who need a little more help getting around, I’m able to make them comfortable and happy! I also have experience training puppies to do basic tricks, such as sit, speak, shake, and lay down. I would absolutely love to provide your baby with the care they deserve! I currently pet and house sit as my income. This means that my top priority is ensuring that your baby is taken care of at all times. I have an extremely open and flexible schedule, and am able to do check ins at almost whatever time you prefer. I know that when I’m entering your home, I’m also entering your pets home. It can be scary for them to have a stranger come to their safe space, but I provide patience and an upbeat personality to make them feel comfortable. I’m cautious, but also loving and wanting to do everything I can to make your pet happy! I respect both your space and your pets.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs and as an adult I’ve never lived without cats. About 16 years ago my daughter talked me into getting a Yorkie and I have been in love with small dogs ever since. I started fostering rescue kittens about 7 years ago when I lived in Hawaii and found my new passion. I moved to Green Valley, Arizona summer of 2025 to be closer to my 85 yo mother who is still pretty active but experiencing memory issues. I am looking forward to helping my new neighbors with their pet care needs 💜 I am currently retired so I have plenty of time to care for your pets and walk your small to medium sized dogs either in your home or mine. I live in a smoke-free, child-free house with a fenced in yard. My 16 year old Yorkie is very social and loves having furry visitors. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in 8th grade. Have experience with administering medications with my own dogs. Puppy experience with my own dogs as well. Have volunteered at animal shelters in the past cleaning cages, feeding, and walking dogs. Available Monday-Thursday throughout the week! Weekends unavailable most of the time, so I can spend time with family. However if you need a weekend message me and we can see if I am available. Here to keep pets accompanied, occupied, cared for, loved, and respected by walking, playing, feeding, reenforcing training, snuggling, being present with and administering any required medication for the furry ones.

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard.
