She introduces the new dog to the others one at a time so the new dogs isn't overwhelmed, and observes how they interact to see who is getting along and who isn't. She has seperate kennels in case a dog needs to be seperated. She really watches to make sure all the dogs are happy. This was my dog's first stay anywhere away from home without her family and she did GREAT!. When I picked her up she was happy and looked like she had a really great time. Janean took photos and communicated with me on my dog's status each day. I would definitely use Janean again to sit my dog!”

About: I have most of my experience caring for dogs, but I also have experience watching cats as well. Along with caring for my own dog, I currently help look after three other family dogs that I live with. My responsibilities include feeding, daily walks and hikes, vet visits, administering post-surgery care, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. About: Hi there have a huge background and all sorts of animal care elderly reptiles aquatic you name it I’ve done it! And even open to new experiences with new animals! About: Hello Everyone, I have owned dogs in the past, my wife has noticed that dogs will almost instantly bond with me. I have had success with pet sitting for friends. I also have fostered many dogs including a whole litter of puppies from the Arizona Small Dog Rescue in Phoenix as well as adopted a maltipoo named chopsticks from them. I am someone who works full time working from home. I am flexible throughout the day. During the meet and greet we can discuss schedules. I understand your needs for each animal is different. I want to understand your pets boundaries when I come into their space. I understand how important walks and exercise is for the mental and physical health of any pet. Let me know if walks are needed, playing fetch in the backyard or if going to a dog park is appropriate. Also if you just need some one to snuggle with your pet I can do that there is plenty of me. About: My first pet sitting job was with my sister’s dog 15 years ago. I always give them all the attention they need and rubs. I love to send photos to the owners almost every day if I can to show them that they’re doing good. I am comfortable with dogs from puppies to seniors and cats that are friendly to the scared or bashful ones fully understanding that every pet's need is unique, and their daily rituals are paramount. I am a former chef and make organic, grain free dog treats so if your dog or cat requires a special diet, I can accommodate that so they can keep to their regular feeding schedule. I am a very active person so high energy dogs will get lots of exercise. My cat is 18 years old and needs subcutaneous IV fluids for kidney failure 3x a week. If your pet needs this while you are away, I can also accommodate for that. I work 4 days a week 10-hour shifts. If you live within Sedona, I am available to leave on lunch break to walk or feed them. Thursday night through Monday morning I am available for 24-hour care. I am down to 1 cat after about 30 years of having many cats and dogs. I am the person who would move all the way across the country instead of giving up my fur babies. My cat right now even comes to work with me and is a sort of therapy animal for us all as what we do is incredibly stressful. She receives subcutaneous fluids 3x a week and because of this careful care for her we have been able to keep her kidney failure at bay. I simply cannot imagine life without any of my babies.

About: I love being in the company of dogs. Over the years, I have enjoyed training them in basic obedience and dog agility, also to be loving therapy dogs and hiking companions. I've nursed them through their golden years... and am starting over again training my one-year-old rescue pup Chi. I am retired, which allows me the freedom to set my own schedule. This flexibility lets me accommodate your schedule and the level of care you desire for your pets. I'll make sure your pets are kept safe and are well cared for. They will be fed and walked on schedule, and have plenty of fresh water at all times. I will administer any oral medications they need.

I’ll treat them like my own, with gentle care and attention to detail, and provide you with updates and photos to keep you informed. My experience includes volunteering at an animal rescue, training shelter dogs, fostering, administering all kinds of medications, nail trimming, and calming animals in distress. I love working with cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Please note, I practice careful sanitation procedures, especially when transitioning from one client to the next. I’m happy to wear gloves, mask, etc upon request. I’m currently substitute teaching so my hours vary during the week but it’s pretty flexible. I’m open to various assignments, but I'm mostly available during afternoons/evenings and weekends. Currently I live in a small studio with one indoor cat, so I am not offering boarding at my home at this time. I’m happy to provide services in your home.
