“Our pups seemed to have a great time with Bonita and her dog Bentley. He was super happy when we picked him up. Bonita is very sweet and responsible. Nice backyard with doggy door. She had plenty of toys and was flexible with scheduling. We received updated pictures and he went on walks and had plenty of play time. Will definitely be using again and highly recommend!!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kaitlin. She watched our 150 lb cane corso Bruce and cared for him like he was family. Bruce fell in love with her and Koko from the start and it made my heart happy that he was in a warm and loving home while we were away. Kaitlin’s communication was excellent and I loved all the daily updates and photos I received from her! Even when my large dog took over her bed for naps 😂 Kaitlin is very knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior and even did some training with our big guy during his stay. I whole heartedly recommend Kaitlin to anyone looking for a pet sitter. She is truly the best!”

“Alec took loving and exceptionally good care of our elderly dog while we were out of town. Wheaty was loved and well cared for and we received a picture and an update every day. We will definitely be using Alec again !!!!”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter for our dog and it was a great experience! Page was so patient with our quirky Golden. She went above and beyond to ensure our girl had a great stay. Page was easy to reach anytime and she sent frequent updates on how things were going. Her home is beautiful, clean, and inviting. I would not hesitate to book Page as our pet sitter again.”

“Jessie and her family took great care of our pup! I appreciated that Jessie was excellent about communicating with us before and during the stay. We would book Jessie again.”

“Katherine and Tanner took great care of Dakota during her stay. Communication was easy and consistent, and they clearly made an effort to keep her comfortable and cared for. Dakota came home happy and relaxed — always a good sign! Would definitely trust them again.”

“Ryan was an amazing sitter! It was our dog’s first time to board in a house and we didn’t expect that she would have an extreme separation anxiety! Ryan was able to handle all that, he took care of her really well. He also sends me updates and photos of our dog and he’s very responsive. His place was neat and clean, safe and a nice backyard. I’m grateful for Ryan! Thank you for loving our needy Zoey!”

“Our dog Tucker bonded with Melinda and her family almost immediately. Her dog Murphy is easy to get along with and was a good companion to Tucker. Melinda walked them regularly, sent us frequent updates and gave Tucker loving care. Melinda is the perfect fit for Tucker and us.”

“Gregory was incredible!!!! Haylee had some incontinence issues which we aren’t sure why (she seemed very comfortable with him) and he was amazing with her and kept on constant contact with me. We hope it was just that it was her first time with him so will try another 1 day stay before we do anything longer. Thank you sooo much Gregory!”

“Analyssa went above and beyond while caring for our 16 year old special needs dog. What was originally supposed to be a three day boarding stay unexpectedly turned into five days, and she was incredibly accommodating and understanding throughout the entire process. As a first time Rover user, I was a little hesitant and nervous about leaving our dog in someone else’s care. Analyssa quickly put those concerns to rest with her excellent communication, flexibility, and obvious compassion for animals. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our dog was in such caring hands. I would not hesitate to book with Analyssa again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“Jeremy and his family were great! I am so thankful to have found them, chief had so much fun running around. We felt such at ease all weekend. Would definitely recommend him to anyone!”

“Allison is five star . I feel so confident when I leave my 10 month old puppy with her . House is totally dog friendly and Allison knows exactly what she is doing with my Ernie 👍👍So glad we found her!!”

“Josephs lack of reviews is a true shame. Luckily that could never deter me from giving someone a try. I knew from his profile that he was dedicated to fur babies and I was right. My pup warmed up to him so fast because Joseph is a kind, loving, and super fun uncle to all the kids! I fear my dog may not have missed me for a second while I was away lol. He is extremely accommodating to both my dog and I. My girl is 10 but still young at heart and he definitely allowed her to show him who she was! The way he interacted and played with her in the videos he sent just melted my heart. 10 out of 10 choose Joseph but try to leave time for me to book again. I’m sure my girl feels like he is officially in her pack and we need him!”

“Jessica is the best! She really cares for my cat like it's her own and goes above and beyond. She pays close attention to detail and is a strong communicator. When my flight got cancelled to come home, Jessica stepped in and was flexible in watching my cat an extra few days to ensure he got the care he needed while I was gone. She is a godsend!”

If you're looking for a reliable and loving cat sitter, Jennifer is the one to choose! I will definitely rebook with her again.”

About: I’ve had a dog since before I was 10. With the recent passing of our oldest dog, I currently have two dogs - one quiet & small (Gryffin), and one big & rambunctious (Charlie). I love them both dearly! My fiancée also has two dogs that I like to claim as my adopted pets (Presley & Rudy). I’m currently studying for the bar exam (certifying exam for lawyers) and am looking for some cash while I spend 40 hours a week studying as my full time job. This much studying is a lot of work and I’d love to have study companions get me through it! I have had dogs of all different dispositions (e.g., the reserved, the crazy, the explorer, etc.) and have the patience and compassion to love them all and ensure they all get the attention they deserve and need.

About: I have owned cats my whole life and I recently adopted a special needs senior cat without teeth that I adore. I have owned all different kinds of cats with different temperaments and they have all lived happy and full lives.
“I am so pleased with Linda and the care she gave my cat. She spent plenty of time with me, communicated with me daily and expressed how’s she liked my pet. I would highly recommend and would hire Linda again.”

“Lyla is the best pet sitter I have ever had. She went above and beyond to take very good care of my cat Alexia for 30 days. My cat is 18 years old, she previously had two seizures about seven months ago, and she had another episode while we were out of town. Lyla, acted very professional and cared really for Alexia. She called me to inform me, she called the Vet clinic, and the emergency pet hospital. She stayed longer with Alexia to make sure she was feeling better after the episode, and she helped her recover and calm down. Lyla, treated my cat and my house with a great respect, Alexia looked cleaned and happy and the house was tidy and clean. I will hire Lyla again and again, she is very nice, professional and reliable. She could literally handle any issues and she is willing to do anything to make your babies happy. Thank you very much Lyla for being such a great person.”

“Ashley & Benjamin were incredible care takers while I was on vacation!! I’m new to Rover and it was very reassuring to know that Kota was being cared for. Ashley was super easy to communicate with and she consistently provided updates, with photos and videos which was great to see! We couldn’t more thankful for the care provided. Thank you!!”

Whether your cat is a social butterfly or a hide-and-seek champion, I’m patient and ready to cater to their every need. From playtime and feeding to litter box duty, I’m all in!

She is a shy little thing but we have bonded so strongly that her confidence has finally come about. Every cat is different and I do very well in getting to know them. I will love your fur babies like I do my own!
About: I have previous experience with dog/house sitting which include playing/walking, picking up after, feeding pet, & help retrieve mail/packages. I also enjoy just sitting with and making sure your pet is well loved while owners are away. I am currently working a part time job that I have had for 14 months in the restaurant business and am also an athlete, but all those activities range from 3-9 pm for 2 to 3 days a week. I am available early mornings, mid-day, and late nights. I can easily handle pets with love, care, and patience. I love going on walks with dogs and just live being around them. I had a dog throughout my whole childhood who was my best friend but sadly passed away 3 years ago.

She took him on long walks, played ball and he played with with the other dogs. When we returned home he was ready to rest and was so well behaved the days following. I️ would highly recommend Megan and plan to keep taking my baby boy to her!”

“This is my first time using the Rover app for someone to watch my 7 yearnold corgi and 6 month old HIGH EVERGY chocolate lqb puppy so I was a bit nervous. Especially because this is the first time I've ever left my 6 month old puppy with someone to watch. Kelli was amazing from start to finish. She was so sweet and loving towards my dogs and put all my fears at ease. I texted her and she responded right away. She was also very flexible as our timeframe for pick up and deop off changed. Would 10/10 have her watch my dogs again. Thank you Kelli !”

About: I have been pet sitting/dog walking for many years. My youngest has just graduated high school so I have a very free schedule. I have owned dogs and cats most of my life. I currently have an Irish Wolfhound and a small Pit Bull. I have spent many hours volunteering at the Humane Society and fostering. I am a stay at home mom in Cave Creek. My youngest has just graduated from high school so my schedule is quite free. I am available for drops in’s, walks/hikes, and overnights. I own an Irish Wolfhound and a pitbull mix. I am very active and run daily with my dogs. I am able to take dogs on long walks or hikes. I am comfortable with any size breed. I am respectful of any pet rules/schedules and follow accordingly.
“Bianca has been so great with our Golden Retriever, Indy. He loves going on walks with her and she has improved his walking manners so much, just with simple commands and consistency. Highly recommend!”

About: In addition to house/pet sitting, I have owned numerous dogs and cats plus hamsters, fish, chickens, and horses. I enjoy working with animals and am open to caring for most types of pets. I have previous experience with Housecarers and Trusted Housesitters and can provide copies of reviews by pet owners. I am retired so my schedule is flexible. I am physically very active and able to handle extensive walking as needed. I do occasionally travel but plan my travel months in advance so it would not interfere with any scheduled sits or pet care. I am not available to care for pets in my home. I would be available both day or night to care for or sit for pets in your home. I am a walker, so dog walking is one of my favorite activities with pets.
“Linda was wonderful with Herbie! She was so helpful with support during our daughters grad party! Herbie took to her right away too, sensing she was a dog person! Thank you Linda!”

About: We are a family of 5 - mom, dad, as of 2024, a 7 year old boy, Anquan the old alphadog and Chase the young pup. (We just put our old pup down and can’t bring myself to fully change the profile yet but FYI, we just have Chase now 😥) We have grown up around dogs and had dogs of our own our whole lives. My mother-in -law bred dogs and walked in and judged dog shows, so our household has picked up a few tips and tricks for training and care. We love our pups and we will love yours too! We live in a house with a fenced yard and have a large trampoline my dogs like to sun bath on for some reason. We have grass and rocks in our backyard for your picky poopers, and when we take walks, they are down the canal and over to Papago since our street ends at the canal. We both work from home so we will be with the dogs all day, and my pups will be so happy to have new playmates. We have a young pup who will be happy to share toys and treats and tire your dogs out and we have an old man who is happy to share his couch space with your old guys. My husband started freelancing so he is happy to earn a little extra and come walk your dogs, or watch your dogs at your place as well. Up to you! We give our old man medicine so we are comfortable giving any meds that are needed, or administering special diets. Just let us know 😉🙃 FYI’s…. - We do not have any cats and will not watch cats in our home but are happy to do so in your home. - I feel for dog owners in apartments/condos, especially during the summer months, but if your dog does not know how to or won’t use the restroom on any surface but the patio, this does not work for us. Not only do we not want that on our patio but our patio is brick and the bricks are porous and stain easily. If this ends up being the case, it is our discretion to add a cleaning fee. - You are welcome to bring toys/bones as long as your pup doesn’t mind sharing and doesn’t have aggression attached to the item - You are welcome to bring toys, bed, whatever BUT you don’t have to as we have plenty to share and we are not responsible if the items gets damaged. We have two dogs and sometimes watch more than 1 dog at a time and you never know how animals will react to being in a new place with new dogs. So we can’t be responsible if a bed gets gnawed on or a toy get chewed. - All we really need is your dog food and treats. We also have treats but if your pup can have a sensitive stomach, we would rather have their treats. FYI - booking house sitting means you want us to Be at your home as much as possible with your pets and possibly sleeping over. If you just need someone to pop in to feed/walk/play - that’s is booking a “drop-in” We both work remotely and my husband only works part-time so we are always available but for exceptional situations which we will mark as unavailable. We already take care of our own 2 so we do walks first thing in the morning and after dinner. We also have a doggie door to our backyard. If we have your pups on the weekend, it’s not summer and your pup is capable, it is likely we will take a walk to the Hole In The Rock since it’s right down the canal from our house and a good distance for my kiddo and pups. But we will make sure to ask you what your pups can and can not do before doing so. Usually, the dogs are so exhausted from just playing in the yard all day that walks and hikes are last thing on their minds! I have a fenced in grass yard with a doggie door and two friendly pups to keep your pup company. I also have a little boy who loves dogs and the first thing he does when he gets home from school is play with the dogs. If we are coming to your home, your rules are your rules. We will just try to keep their schedule and structure as close to the one they are used to and it would just be one of us as someone will stay home with our pups. Happy to bring our pups over if you want a playdate while gone as well.

Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of behavior, training basics, and daily care routines. I’m especially experienced with large and giant breeds and understand their unique needs, including exercise limits, joint care, and bloat prevention in deep-chested dogs. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, as we recently lost our 9-year-old Great Dane, so I’m comfortable with slower-paced walks, medication routines, and providing gentle, attentive care for older pets. At the same time, I can keep up with high-energy dogs who need playtime, enrichment, and structured activity. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I treat every animal like my own and always prioritize their wellbeing, safety, and happiness. I work remotely part-time as a registered dietitian. My days are free after 9am for house visits. If making house visits, it would occur after that time. Walks during the summer are limited with heat, aim for evening or grassy fields to run some energy out during the day. In my client’s home, I care for pets by following their established routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding according to instructions, providing fresh water, regular potty breaks or walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also make sure litter boxes are cleaned, accidents are addressed promptly, and the home is left tidy. For dogs, I prioritize safe leash handling, structured walks, and attention to each dog’s energy level and mobility needs. I’m experienced with large breeds and senior dogs, so I adjust activity accordingly and always prioritize safety (including awareness of bloat risk in deep-chested dogs like Great Danes). For cats, I focus on calm, respectful care—making sure they feel secure, keeping their environment clean, and giving attention based on their personality (whether they are social or prefer space). I also make sure litter boxes are cleaned daily and routines are consistent. I treat every pet as if they were my own and aim to provide reliable, attentive care so owners can feel confident while they’re away. I also provide updates and photos so you know your pets are safe and happy.
About: There was always an assortment of pets in the house growing up. We had several pit bulls over the years, an Aussie, and at one point 4 cats alongside him. We’ve even raised a couple of bunnies and pet mice I just couldn’t turn away from! I’ve done lots of basic puppy training and even taught my cat a few tricks. Living in an apartment at one point also entailed LOTS of walks and trips to the dog park. I’m not one to turn away from a lost animal, so I’ve rescued and returned a few pups over the years as well! In addition to my own pets, I’ve house sat and cared for the pets of work clients, helped out with neighbors, and family friends pets too. I have plenty of experience with larger breeds but I love little paws too! I currently work part time while I'm working on my business on the side which is on my own time so I'm very flexible! I love to walk in the mornings and evenings, and my longest shift on Fridays is usually 5 hours. My regular work hours: M: 9:30-1:30 T: none W: 9:30-2 Th: none F: 10-3 S: 8-11 S: none I do not offer boarding at this time, but I will be sure to follow whatever guidelines you may leave according to your pet's personal needs. You know your pet best! :)
“Nicholas is an excellent dog walker! He was very attentive to my dog and reliable. Very detailed feed back about the walks and went above and beyond caring for my dog. Definitely recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Lyla (a.k.a. Nejat on my reviews)—a caring mom of two (ages 16 and 2) and a lifelong animal lover. We’ve always had pets in our lives, and my girls are gentle, kind, and respectful with animals. I have a flexible schedule for walks and drop-ins, and for overnight sits it will be the three of us. We’ll treat your pets like family and your home with care. You can count on lots of love, attention, and reliable updates while you’re away. I’m currently building my own business, which gives me a very flexible schedule. That flexibility lets me be present and attentive with your pets. My daughter and I enjoy sharing the care, feeding, walking, and spending time with them, just like we do with our own. You can trust that your dog will always be safe, loved, and well cared for with us. We care for pets in my home or yours with the same love, safety, and attention I give my own. I’ll always honor your instruction how you would like your pet to be cared for.

“Caroline was very helpful watching our boys during our wedding week! She was so patient to our boys after a few accidents and was still so incredibly kind to them even after! 10/10 recommend!!”
“Katherine and Tanner took great care of Dakota during her stay. Communication was easy and consistent, and they clearly made an effort to keep her comfortable and cared for. Dakota came home happy and relaxed — always a good sign! Would definitely trust them again.”

“Ginny and Andrew watched my Abby for a week. They treated her as their own. She was very happy and well cared for. Abby became part of the family for the week she stayed with them. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Ginny watch her again. Thank you.”

“Diana was great with our golden retriever. She sent pictures daily and we could tell our dog was very comfortable with her. She has a nice size yard with grass in it, will use her again. Thank you!”

“Our Dog Charlie was in great hands, very happy we found Mitch. We will not hesitate to book his service in the future. We also received updates and pictures during our trip.”

“Lexi had a great overnight stay with Rosy! She took her for walks & sent photos and videos of Lexi's interactions with Rosy & her family. I have already booked another stay with Rosy.”

“Darlene and Dave were absolutely fantastic with our dogs while we were away. I would recommend them 100% to anyone needing a dog sitter. We received email updates with pictures while we were away which made our trip that much better. We are so happy to have found Darlene and Dave and will definitely be using them again in the future :) ”

“Our pup had a wonderful time with Terry while we were away on a trip. Terry kept us up to date with pictures and texts. We feel relieved to have such a reliable dog sitter.”
“Matia was amazing. This was Anya's first time with a dog sitter and Matia made sure to give frequent updates and took great care of my girl. I can't recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. My mom bred dogs while I was growing up, so I was involved in their daily care from a young age. I helped feed, groom, socialize, exercise, and care for puppies and adult dogs, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As an adult, I’ve continued to care for pets for family and friends and understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment. I am a Registered Nurse and currently work only three days per week, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. My husband works from home full-time, so there is typically someone available throughout the day to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. Our home is located in a gated community, providing an added level of safety and security. We have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely go outside for fresh air, potty breaks, and supervised playtime. Pets staying with us will spend most of their time indoors with the family, receiving plenty of attention, companionship, and exercise.

“Kathryn was awesome watching our puppy Bella. We were nervous with it being Bella’s first time boarding but Kathryn sent us daily updates with pictures and took the time to make her feel comfortable and like part of the pack. Would definitely recommend to a friend and will definitely have Bella stay with her again!”

“Ashlee is AWESOME!! She is true to her profile and beyond. Her home was made not just to take care of your pet, but is filled with love and care. Ashlee went above and beyond taking care of our older geriatric pug. She was very patient with our pugs accidents and our precious doggie being hard of hearing and having trouble seeing. Our Hadley got her meds, was fed well, and was so loved. Biggest testament: when Hadley had to leave, she was staring out the window and crying for Ashlee!! If I could give Ashlee a million stars, I would!! Especially if you have an older dog like mine, know your pet is not only in good hands, but being left with a sitter who truly cares and keeps in touch. Thanks Rover for being me connected with Ashlee, and thank you Ashlee!!”
