One lived to be twenty - one years old and the other kitty is still alive and is sixteen years old. Both cats have been important part of our family. About: I'm a colon cancer survivor which fur babies have helped me through a lot I'm all about them and taking care of them because they have been all about me throughout my sickness.... Now that I'm a little better I want to give back to the unconditional creatures that gave to me in a time of need...I've had Weimaraners in my household for over 15 years and have had other fur babies and animals before that throughout my life, this chance that I could have to provide the love and care for the parents of those fur babies that need it. I’ve owned both cats and dogs over the years, and I currently have three sweet dogs of my own, two Golden Retrievers and a Great Pyrenees mix. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, but caring for pets is naturally part of my daily routine. My mornings start early, around 6 to 7am, with potty breaks followed by breakfast around 7am. Throughout the day, I provide additional potty breaks based on each pet’s needs, typically late morning from 10 to 11am, mid afternoon from 3 to 4pm, and again in the evening from 7 to 8pm, followed by dinner around 8pm. We always end the day with one last potty break before bedtime. On weekends, I am home more often, which allows for extra attention, walks, and playtime. As soon as we pulled up to her house my golden ran to her door, which to me is a fantastic sign since our golden has a lot of anxiety. “This was our first time using Rover and I'm so glad we did. Christy was great. We did a "meet & greet" in advance and introduced our pooch (Brody) to her home and pups. It was nice to leave Brody in a home vs. boarding in a kennel. We received daily photos and videos while we were on vacation. An example of Christy's love for dogs: Brody played down in a mud puddle one day and we received a video of him being blown dry after a bath. Dog lover!
