I just recently moved to the Huntsville area and have a fenced in backyard on 10 acres of land, toys and a dog of my own who loves playtime and friends. About: I have been the designated dog and cat sitter in my family since I was 13 years old and have loved it! I’ve always had a deep love for animals and will be going to Auburn for their College of Veterinary Medicine in the Fall of this year. I currently work as a veterinary technician and have four years of experience. If any of your pets have needs such as medicating, or any special behavioral instructions I should be able to handle them. Pet sitting and dog walking would be a great way for me to earn a couple extra dollars a month, and be able to help out the animals who need walks throughout the day and daily care when their owners are away. I’m working part time at my current job and a full time student. I’m completely free during the weekends to do daily walks and play dates, but during the week I’m limited to morning check ins and evening only play time. With my own dog at home I crate him while there is no one home due his tendency to get into things he shouldn’t. If you prefer your dog to be crated while no one is home I’m perfectly okay with doing so as long as I’m allowed to take off any collars they may have on to prevent snagging while away. I also like to provide a bowl of water with the dog inside of the crate to allow them to hydrate while I’m away. If you would prefer your dog to not be crated then I’m okay with that as well.

About: I have been taking care of all types of pets my entire life. I have experience working with senior cats and dogs that may need extra attention. During the school year I take care of pets on weekends and some holidays. During the summer I am available any time! (I’m a teacher) I have a German shepherd and 2 cats. About: Friends, family and coworkers always pick me to take care of their pets! I can train basic commands and work with all ages! I have gone to clients homes for days to care for animals, done drop by care and drop by walks. I have also boarded dogs in my own home! I want the animals to feel as comfortable as possible and also keep their parents at ease about their well being! I have my own dog so pet care is in my daily routine morning and night feedings and at least one walk a day weather permitting. We also do daily training on commands she is completely off leash trained but training is essential for her to exercise mentally. I can do either, however I have a dog myself and I would not expect anyone to ever sacrifice their own dogs attention for mine. She is so sweet and loves meeting new friends. I will stick to a clients preferred schedule for their specific dog. For us we do two feedings a day morning (7am) and night (7pm). We do at least one walk a day weather permitting and if we are unable to go outside we play fetch indoors and do brain stimulating activities.
