About: Hello! My name is Giovanna, and I’d love to share a little about myself. Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets (other than a goldfish). My dad would take me to the pet store, and I would beg for even a hamster, but he never budged. So naturally, whenever I visited friends or went to gatherings, I was always the one playing with and loving on the pets. I jumped at every opportunity to help care for my friends’ and family’s animals. When I finally moved out on my own, I adopted my very first pet, my cat, Winnie, within 10 days. Not long after, I decided Winnie needed a friend, so I adopted my second cat, Apache. Later, when I moved in with my now husband, I finally convinced him to get a dog, something I had wanted my entire life. After lots of research, I chose a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and that’s how we welcomed Emmett into our family. One of my favorite hobbies is training Emmett, working on obedience, tricks, and even some agility. In my free time, I’m currently training for the Chicago Marathon, so if your dog loves to run or needs extra exercise, I can definitely keep up! I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets! I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m available for dog walking, drop-ins, and in-home pet sitting on both weekdays and weekends and last minute requests. I’m also happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, or more active dogs who need extra exercise. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of every kind. I obtained my bachelors degree in animal science and have worked as a vet tech for 5 years. I am CPR and first aid certified for all furry friends. I am certified to administer any medications (pills, oral liquids, or injections) if needed! I am switching to pet sitting full time and will be home all day and night with the pets. I have a fenced in yard but also go for daily walks through my neighborhood for exercise. When a pet stays at my home, they have access to the entire house unless they need to be separated per your request. I have different areas that can be blocked off if needed. I take the dogs out for a walk 2-3 times a day and will use the fenced back yard for play time and potty breaks in between. I can administer medications if any are needed and follow whatever feeding schedule you have set for your pet! I've also worked in Orlando, Florida as a kennel technician for over a year. I am stay-at-home right now so i have plenty of time to hang with your pups (or kitties i don't discriminate)!
