She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). “Ray is fantastic. I would classify Ray as more of a dog whisperer than dog sitter. We boarded our very lively 8 month old puppy, Boone, with Ray for 5 nights. Boone had gotten crate resistant in the past few weeks. He would cry and bark throughout the night and make sleeping a chore for us all. Ray was able to break this bad habit and give us our sleep back. He also completely got Boone off of wet food. Ray sent us pictures, videos, and updates multiple times a day. Ray really does a great job and has a gift with dogs. I would highly recommend his services and will be using him again in the future.”

This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”

About: I am not as experienced with cats as I am with dogs, but I have had my cat for 3.5 years and Oliver is the best cat and gets along with all my dogs. I have the typical experience with cats, feeding, watering and cleaning the litter box. I haven't had to give my cat any meds at this time, but I am up for the challenge =)

“Flash had a great day in Doggie Daycare with Emily and her family! They played with him and took him for a walk. They were very accommodating in setting times for Flash and me to meet them and for dropping him off and picking him up. They followed the feeding instructions and made room for his dog bed and toys in their home. I really liked it that they lived in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and that they had a nice fenced in back yard. You can tell they love dogs and it made me happy that Flash was comfortable with them. I recommend them as dog sitters and plan to book with them again!”

About: I have over three years experience of volunteering at a pet clinic, as well as owning everything from a Standard poodle to tea cup Chihuahua! About: I own a small kennel,Small Paws Kennel, for small to medium sized dogs in Sterrett. I currently have a few empty kennels,to be used for dog boarding and daytime care. Dogs will not be around cats,and will remain away from children if nervous or aggressive. They will be homed in a kennel with plenty of food,water,treats,and an outdoor run of their own. They will not have to interact with other dogs. I have pet sitter in the past,and try to make sure to follow notes about a dog's preference of what makes them nervous,what treats they like,any meds needed,and so forth. I'm currently staying at home to take care of and homeschool my two girls,as well as running a small kennel,so your dog will get plenty of care and attention. I make sure to check on boarded dogs daily,so that they have plenty of fresh water,food,and get a chewbone or treat daily...as well as some petting and attention. I have a small kennel. There are separate indoor kennels,with dog doors that lead out to 4*8 separated runs,so dogs are separate and safe. These runs are surrounded by a larger cattle fence,that fence in all the runs together and allows for a play yard for exercise outside of the runs. That way each dog can get out daily for some play time with toys and a small pool,for hot days.

About: I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes from my experience in a vet clinic. I know what to look for when a dog is feeling un well or anxious. I work a part time job and am in college in town. I Am home most of the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Saturdays are my busy days but am still available to board. About: Hi! I’m a biology major at Jeff State Community College that is obsessed with animals of all kinds. I’ve been surrounded by dogs since the day I was born and became the main caregiver for them when I was about 12. From shy, skittish, and very nervous/anxious dogs with hyper personalities to laid back, not a care in the world, couch potato dogs, no job is too big or small for me and no pup is too difficult. About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

I particularly enjoy working with shy and anxious dogs and cats. About: my entire life i’ve grown up around animals! since i was 10, i was walking my childhood lab around on a leash. i worked as a dog groomer for 2 years and i have a huge passion for anything pet related, especially what makes them happiest. anytime spent around animals is when im most comfortable, no matter how difficult the task may be. I’m completely free on Tuesdays, so I have no problem with taking care of your pups all day if needed! I work every other day, but I wanted to find time to helps pets on top of everything else! I’m a very athletic person, and have no problem taking your fur baby on lengthy walks, or to parks if wanted. Particularly difficult paths or uphill walks are no issue for me!

He’s so high energy and is always super crazy but he was tired when I got home after their walk/ play time! 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be booking with her again. I’ve had such terrible experiences with two other rover’s before so this was a very nice and pleasant change of pace. She definitely goes above and beyond and obviously genuinely cares so much about the dogs she takes care of.”

“Tatiana was WONDERFUL! She walked Harley a ton which I know Harley enjoyed, especially after a long car ride the day before. I could tell immediately that Harley was comfortable with Tatiana and her family and that’s saying a lot because Harley can be very timid and shy around new people. Thank you for sending plenty of picture updates too, I’ll definitely be booking again when I’m in the area!!!”
“I left my fur baby with Christopher and Sore for the weekend and after making my reservation, I realized that I had forgotten about my flight being at the Atlanta airport and the hour difference, so needless to say I had move my drop off time up.They were completely accommodating. Once meeting Sore I felt completely at ease, leaving cowboy with them.. I received updates, with pictures every day to see my boy was doing fine. I definitely would rely on their service again in the future..”
“Ashley was awesome with our two Boxer girls! Mags and Su had a blast playing in the big fenced back yard & with her pup and senior Boxer. I honestly think Su is going to have separation anxiety from Freya, she loved playing with her so much!! Ashley sent daily updates with photos/videos. We would highly recommend, especially if you have a Boxer, trusting Ashley with your fur babes!”
“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“Harold was so great!! Had a last minute need for some help with my pup, and so glad I chose Harold! Extremely accommodating for my GSP after a move from VA to BHM. Wasn’t ideal but Harold gave me the peace of mind (and CONSTANT updates) that helped me and my dog transition a semi-cross county move. 10/10 recommend.”

“Ray is fantastic. I would classify Ray as more of a dog whisperer than dog sitter. We boarded our very lively 8 month old puppy, Boone, with Ray for 5 nights. Boone had gotten crate resistant in the past few weeks. He would cry and bark throughout the night and make sleeping a chore for us all. Ray was able to break this bad habit and give us our sleep back. He also completely got Boone off of wet food. Ray sent us pictures, videos, and updates multiple times a day. Ray really does a great job and has a gift with dogs. I would highly recommend his services and will be using him again in the future.”

“Danielle is the absolute best, and I’ll hear nothing to the contrary. This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”
