My family and I were away for 6 days, and unfortunately, KoKo started exhibiting signs of illness on day 2 into day 3! Kelly alerted me immediately but had already made calls and received pet Med advice and comforted me as well as informed me of diagnosis! She never pressured me to return and even prepared special meals for my KoKo to ease his discomfort!!!! Turns out that he had a horrible case of separation anxiety that was literally making him sick. But Kelly and her family acted quickly and within 36 hours, helped KoKo settle and return to his normal playful healthy state! I told Kelly and I will tell the world… she’s not just a sitter… she’s a BLESSING for people that love their fur babies and want the best home away from home for them! About: I grew up in a vet clinic having a father as a Veterinarian calling it my home away from home. I chose to stay in the animal field with the passion I have for animals and be that person that owners can trust when they leave their animals and have a peace of mind.I have tons of vet tech experience. About: I owned a hyperactive, 85lb german shepherd of my own who ate, slept, and breathed playing fetch and being entertained at all times, so I know how much dogs love to play to say the least! I have for him since he was a pup and continued to do so for 3 years with as much love and affection as ever! I have also cared for 4 large breed dogs - a golden retriever, bernedoodle, and 2 german shepherds all at once so there's no issue with handling the big guys. Prior to my dog I cared for our family dog of 15 years - a little 8 lb yorkie poo, so I know what dogs big and small like to do and what they need! I have no issue providing oral medication as called upon, will provide fresh and clean food and water whenever necessary, and can supply plenty of toys of my own, as well as the occasional treat when permitted. I have a large fully fenced in back yard with plenty of room for your special dog to run until their hearts content and have plenty of space for them to roam around inside comfortably and safely. Anything I can do to reassure you that your pup is in great hands, don't hesitate to ask! I work a typical Monday-Friday at an aerospace engineering company, but I am free to watch your pup on the weekends so you can take that much needed long weekend trip! I am very flexible on the weekends and can be up as early or as late as necessary to watch your dog. If you have a fenced in backyard we can play ball, tug of war, or do whatever your dog loves to do when it's playtime. If there's a park nearby we will certainly make our way to it. If your dog just needs a few walks here and there I would love to do that as well. Essentially anything you need to care for your dogs while away would be my pleasure.
About: I have four dogs and three cats of my own. One is a senior dog who is blind a deaf so I understand certain care a lot of dogs may need. I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs, big and small. As well as many different pets like snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! I’ve grown up with different kinds of pets my whole life but mainly dogs and cats. Having four dogs of my own and three cats, it can be quite a hassle but overtime I’ve gotten used to routines and the specific care each animal needs! In my own home, my dogs are crated when I leave except for my senior dog. My dogs and cats have specific routines for their food, so special requests and even giving pets their needed medications if they have them is very familiar for me. With this many animals I understand the importance of routine and how to look after each one. I’ve always treated other people’s animals as I treat my own with love and care. I also love going on walks so I don’t mind dog walking at all! As for cats, I have three litter boxes in my home so I don’t mind cleaning those either.
About: Being a past owner of a beautiful border collie mix (the pup in my profile) my skills for high energy dogs and keeping up with their schedules became a necessary skill. About: My passion for pets and their mental well-being started early. Since 2019, my dad and I have volunteered at animal shelters, walking dogs and house training them to help them find loving homes. Now, as a college freshman, I’m continuing my mission to give back to the community and support animals as they grow.
