About: I grew up in a house with cats but now I have two dogs that are part of my family that I love dearly. During my time living with cats, I learned how to take care of a cat that had diabetes and another one that was deaf. I have experience with administering oral medication and injections for animals who are diabetic. I have not only looked after cats and dogs, but I have experience taking care of guinea pigs, bearded dragons, fish and even helped with birds during family visits. I am a stay at home mom of two littles. My husband is in the military. We play outside as much as possible with weather permitting. Most dogs go out about every two hours or when they request. During Alabama’s warmer months, I also set up a small splash pool so pups can cool off and have a little extra fun. We average at least 1.5 miles every day, giving dogs plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities to explore at their own pace.

I have been with dogs since I was a baby as well as taking care of them since I was 12, when I got my own first German Shepherd. Many friends, family members and neighbors have come to me to watch their babies while gone, to check in on them or take them on walks. I have dealt with most breeds and understand basic needs, medical concerns and safety of everyone. I'm a retired veteran from the US Army and a full time stay at home mom. My day to day is getting kids ready for school, drop off, pick up and homework time. In between all that, Im doing chores or watching some episodes of my favorite shows, so I will have plenty of time to be with your pet. My kids are 5 and 7, so most of the day they are at school. When they are home they help out with the animals and give them even more attention and love. John, my husband, works full time. With our schedule, if there is ever a time I need to step out, he is always here to help. I always prefer a meet and greet before we set up anything so the animal can acknowledge who I am or where they will be staying, even when doing drop ins. This makes the transition alot easier on both sides. We stick to one client at a time to keep the house easier to maintain and also for the safety of your pet and mine, as well as the family. We have a large fenced in yard to keep your pet safe but have plenty of room to run and play. We also have a crate for crate training or sleeping if you so prefer. We allow pets on the furniture unless you say otherwise. We will always follow by the owner's rules and ways of doing things in our home.

About: I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned about my pets to others. Every pet has their own personality I want to get to know them. Pet car fits perfectly into my schedule as I complete college online and am home majority of the day they always have my undivided attention. I have a semi fenced yard but so much for them to run in the back. I have a fur baby of my own who loves to play, he’s gentle and sweet. He treats other dogs with respect and knows to set a boundary if they want to play or not.
