“Finn's stay with Julie was great. I got multiple daily updates which was awesome since Finn is a puppy and I was worried he might be really stressed. They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have been caring for them since I was a little kid. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and they are truly family to me. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my late dog, Roo, who battled cancer for about a year before we lost her in September. During that time, I gained experience providing medication, extra comfort, patience, and specialized care. I have a 1 year old puppy named Tilly and a 14 year old dog named Leo who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, playtime, routine, and affection are. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own! Whether your pup loves to play, go on walks, or curl up on the couch for cuddles, they’ll receive plenty of attention and care while staying with me. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from 10am-4pm Monday to Thursday. Friday-Sunday I am off! Before and after work, I make sure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks!! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced backyard for supervised play and plenty of space for dogs to relax indoors. My own dogs are friendly, playful, and very accustomed to being around other dogs. I carefully introduce pets with slow introduction so your dog won’t get overwhelmed. I follow each owner’s instructions, and maintain routines as closely as possible. About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees last year :( We miss him. We would like to watch another dog because our shihtzu is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 1 dog so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time since we also have a cat but may make an exception if from the same family . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. I would do potty breaks and ensure the house was not used. I would take the dogs for walks and play with them to burn off some energy before bringing them back home, if the owner allowed it. I would also feed and make sure they drank water before I left, updating the owner on how they are doing. Otherwise, I would utilize the spaces given to me ( a fenced yard, etc.). For cats, I would check in on them and make sure they are fed and watered. i would play with them with their toys and then update their owner on how they are doing.

Dog sitting was my first job, and I’ve had great experiences with Rover as a pet parent & a sitter I work full time, but I take an hour lunch break every day for dog walks. A typical day starts with a 30 min walk in the morning, 45 mins at lunch, and another 30-60 mins in the evenings. Love to take the dogs hiking, or out to one of the beaches in town, or up on a hiking trail. I have a friendly dog at home, & I require a meet & greet before overnight stays to make sure the personalities work together. Please bring a crate with you if your pet is used to having their own. Please also bring or identify whatever toys, treats, comfort items they can’t live without.

“Finn's stay with Julie was great. I got multiple daily updates which was awesome since Finn is a puppy and I was worried he might be really stressed. They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”

About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. About: In our home we have three trained hunting dogs, two Labradors and an English Cocker Spaniel. I have trained my own dogs for AKC hunt tests, my eldest dog has a Senior Hunter title and my middle boy has his Junior hunter title. I have spent years around boarding kennels and have experience caring for dogs other than my own. I work from home and your dogs will get to hang out with my own during the day. Your doggo can expect to walk and hang out on the back deck with us in the evenings. I work from home and have a flexible routine with my dogs. A typical day includes morning potty, then they hang out with me while I work with potty time during the day as the dogs need it. My dogs typically eat dinner around 6:00 PM, but alternative feeding schedules can be accommodated. After dinner the dogs have two additional potty times before lights out. I walk the dogs at least once per day, although the time varies from day to day. I have a fenced side yard and dogs will be walked to the side yard on a leash. Walks will also occur on leashes. Dogs are crated if I am out of the home. Unless there is a medical or training reason not to, fresh water is provided in their kennels at all time. My dogs may be out on a Halo GPS collar rather than a leash. Boarded dogs must be free of external parasites and communicable disease. I reserve the right to refuse dogs who arrive with flea, lice, or obvious communicable illnesses.

I carefully introduce pets and give your pet the space they need to warm up. Don't worry! You will never feel out of the loop, I provide photos and updates throughout the stay.

She responded immediately to my short notice request and was available the following day for a meet and greet since we ha had not met at the time and are very particular with anyone we leave our two senior dachshunds with. She took great care of our babies and even sent fun pictures to show how they were doing while we were gone. Would highly recommend her and will definitely take advantage of her services again when and if we go out of town and aren't able to take them with us.”
