“Jani & Paul were able to graciously accommodate my puppy for daycare on very short notice. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay and will most definitely be booking again. The best!!!”

“what is a very awesome Rover mommy I’m very funny where I leave my puppy and she took care of her better than if she was her own puppy she even trimmed her nails for me. I definitely will be returning to Paula again many times she is more than a five star sitter thank you so much, Paul”

“They were great! Lots of land and friends for summer to place with, she sent pictures showing how much fun summer was having and made sure we weren’t rushing either. Great option if you’re visiting luray, they are north of Harrisonburg so the drive down and back to luray were short. Highly recommended”

“Joanna and her husband did a fantastic job of making Nikita feel comfortable and welcome! Kita takes a while to warm up to new people and places and has abandonment issues and anxiety when I'm gone, but after her first visit she was excited to get back to Joanna and her pup Azul! I also felt so much more comfortable about leaving Kita with Joanna because she was amazing about updating me and sending pictures of Kita! Altogether, Kita and I had a wonderful experience! Thanks, Joanna!! :))”

“Kendyl is great and we really appreciate how well she takes care of Rosie. She watched her for a few hours on short notice. Rosie has separation issues but Kendyl always manages to calm her down and make her feel at home. Thanks again, Kendyl!”

“Lady is a funny little Cavalier who doesn't have much interest in playing with balls or toys, or even other dogs, although she is friendly to them. She mainly just likes human companionship and sitting in people's laps! This was Lady's second visit to Svitlana for Day Care, and we are very thankful for the safe and cozy, quiet environment Svitlana provides in her home and securely fenced yard.”

“We truly appreciate Brandy! We booked very last minute with brandy. Being on vacation we brought our epileptic pup and he wasn’t coping well in a new place being alone. So we downloaded this app for the first time and booked with her while we went out. She responded when I checked on him, and sent me pictures of him while he was with her. We are even booked an extra day with her while we were here because he did so well in her care! Thank you Brandy !!”

“Amanda was great with Riley our 6 years old poodle. We were able to enjoy a nice day out without worrying about her safety. Riley loved her time with Amanda’s dogs and her cute son;) Definitely would recommend her as a sitter. Thanks Amanda!”

About: I've owned and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, from raising litters of puppies to nursing sick kittens back to health. I’ve trained working ranch dogs, cared for senior pets, and managed special diets. I work from home, so your pet gets my full attention. Whether it’s playtime, walks, meals, or cuddles, their needs come first, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I provide loving, attentive pet care in my home or yours, following routines, ensuring proper nutrition, exercise, and comfort. Whether it's walks, playtime, or special needs, I treat them like family.

“Kayla was great for doggy daycare she provided for my pup. She was attentive and communicative to me with pictures and follow up with how Sadie was doing throughout the day. Will book with her againz”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all of my life. Walking my neighborhood dogs when their owners were away and having 3 dogs of my own. We currently have an Australian Shepherd who is almost 3. We e had him since he was a puppy. I currently work from home so have time to care for your pup. We have a large fenced in yard and walk our dog down the street daily. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly Australian Shepherd. Our home is pet-safe. We have two cats that have their own space that dogs cannot get to in case they are not fond of each other.

“I was going through Charlottesville and desperately need someone to watch my dog for a few hours while I went to the doctor and took my car to be serviced. Aly was exactly who I was looking for, and more important, exactly who my dog needed.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. I know the importance of routine and a peaceful environment for pets who are away from home. I also trained dogs for special services and obedience, so I have the inside scoop on dog-language. I work from home, so I am available at all times. We love to take walks. We have a very predictable home routine and value a peaceful calm home where pets can enjoy themselves. When in our home, your pet will have his or her own space. We have a lead so that your pet can enjoy outdoor time. We have a quiet open back yard with plenty of space. We are always around, so the pet will always be accounted for. When caring for your pet in your home, I will be sure to respect your entry/exit requests, and make sure your pet is comfortable and safe.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets since I was a child so I have years experience dealing with a variety of different animals including cats dogs and reptiles. I would love to help keep your up companion’s routine whenever you cannot. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to help you take care of your fur babies! I am available most weekends. I do not have a fenced in yard, but walks are frequent. My dog has a very mild temperament and would love to help tire out your pup if they like making new friends.

About: I have owned multiple dogs in my adulthood. I currently own a 2 year old golden who I have personally trained. I have worked at a dog day care for 5 months where I learned more about dog body language and how to diffuse any fights. I have walked and babysat dogs for friends. I consider all dogs to be my friends, because there is no such things as a bad dog. I work 12 hour night shifts Friday-Sunday. I am completely available Monday-Thursday, but can do some walks on weekends. Because my weeks are so open then I can spend more time taking care of pups. I have a friendly golden retriever who is only 2 (almost 3). She loves to play! She does great with other dogs (she used to have a brother) but also knows how to cuddle and chill. We have a big dog park that is hardly ever used where I could take her and yours.

“Leo loved spending the day with Scott & Sarah. Upon getting dropped off, he didn’t want them to leave. He’s a high energy dog that pretty much went to bed as soon as he got home and even slept in the next morning! If that’s not a testament, I don’t know what is! Thank you for taking such good care of our Leo.”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats since I was 6 and after that eventually started taking care of dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs. I’ve also volunteered in multiple animal shelters and able to understand the need of any regular or special-need pet. I have worked a couple of years as a cat trainer as well. Currently I have three cats and two guinea pigs! One of my cat is a special need, incontinent cat, so I understand how to take care of a special fur-baby. I will take great care of your fur babies and make sure that they have a good time while you are away! I’m working from home and my husband works from home. We are available to take care of your fur babies on both weekends and weekdays! I am available to play with your dogs and cats after 5pm from Monday- Wednesday and all days on the other days. I have three very sweet and well behaved cats, they are indoor-outdoor and very friendly with neighbors cats and dogs. They will make your pet feel welcome and comfortable in my house. I have worked for years in shelters and took care of animals in need. I understand immediately if they are in distress, unhappy or scared. I can calm them down, will meet their needs and will be there are a friend and a caregiver.

About: Owner of a 501c3 animal rescue, I’ve worked with all types of critters. I’ve taken classes in wildlife rehabilitation, worked in dog training centers, and been employed in the county of LA handling overflow cases from Animal Control. I recently left my career behind to purchase a farm and dedicate myself full time to animals. Picking up a bit of work during the transition/ relocation to the farm. I own cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, fish, and a rabbit. I have a well practiced routine with my critters, leaving me open to help others with their babies. I have a few hours during the week I am unavailable due to helping out at a dog training facility (9 hrs/ wk). I am able to administer medications, spend time with more difficult or sensitive pets (plenty of patience for animals), and even implement any training techniques you’ve been working on with your babies. I’m definitely a believer in “no bad animals”. I also have an acre yard completely fenced in.

Charity & Fabien P.
“If you're looking for a dog sitter, look no further! Charity is excellent with dogs and provides calm, attentive, and environment that any dog would enjoy. I especially appreciate that she asks great questions - Is your dog afraid of anything (e.g. thunder)? Where does your dog prefer to sleep? What words does your dog know? Does your dog have a favorite place to receive pets/scratches? -- that ensures a visiting pup is comfortable and loved. Also, she provides fun pictures and updates on visitors which makes me feel like dog is enjoying her time. When I saw her with my high-energy 70lb 3-year-old pup I immediately saw that that my dog was calm and comfortable around Charity + family. In addition to working through Rover, Charity has extensive experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, including raising a puppy who later became a service dog!”

Helaina P.
“Helaina is an excellent dog companion. She is kind, caring and loves spending time with animals. She takes her dog to the dog park regularly for socializing and play time and also loves to take him on hikes. She has assisted me with grooming several animals and is always patient while providing care.”

Caitlan F.
“I recently hired Caitlin to dog sit for my two furry companions, and I must say she was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I met her, I could tell that she had a genuine love and passion for animals. She took the time to get to know my dogs and their individual personalities, ensuring that they were comfortable and well taken care of while I was away. She followed all of my instructions and even went above and beyond by taking them for long walks and playing with them in the backyard. I received daily updates and pictures, which gave me peace of mind knowing that my dogs were in good hands. When I returned home, my dogs were happy and well-groomed, a clear indication of the excellent care they received from Caitlin. I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter to anyone looking for someone who is responsible, caring, and trustworthy. Thank you, Caitlin, for providing my dogs with such a wonderful experience while I was away.”

Najia Y.
“In one word Najia is amazing. She takes care of my 1.5 Year old golden retriever Legend when i am out of town and I am out of town alot. Legend needs 2-3 daily walks, special food and a alot of brushing through out the day. I get all these done with Najia when my little buddy is boarding with her. Before Najia, legend had serious separation anxiety but not when hes with her. I am so glad that I have someone like Najia around me to take care of my buddy boy. FYI: Legend is a 100LBS and hes still in his puppy phase. VERY GOOD BOY THOUGH !”

Emily C.
“Emily has been committed to helping pets across the country find great homes for at least the last decade. Our family has adopted 3 pets from her over the past two years and she’s gone above and beyond with provided initial supplies to help ease their transition to a new home. It’s obvious that her number one passion is saving and caring for animals whether they be dogs or cats or chickens or even injured wildlife. I could imagine no more reliable person for pet care.”
