Dog Boarding in Upper Lake, CA

About: I have grown up always surrounded by dogs and cats! Over the years I have seen and trained these tiny pups to become loving grown and loved adults. I have plenty of experience working with all ages from playful puppies to seniors I am currently a Full time mom, so caring for your pet fits right into my schedule and there is plenty of love to go around :) I am available most if not every day of the week/end. I currently live in a house with outdoor play space! Our pets have the liberty to roam around the house and make themselves comfy wherever they want. We live in a calm neighborhood with an enclosed front and back area.

About: I love all kinds of animals. I have 2 schnauzers of my own, a kitten, and a hamster. I've pet sitted a bearded dragon and rescued an orphaned baby squirrel. There is no pet that I won't care for. I do have a huge soft spot for dogs as they are the pets that I have cared for the longest. I love going on walks and playing around. I used to volunteer at the LAAS shelter when I had more time. I received training from them on dog, kitten, rabbit, and hamster handling. I'm a full time student but my appartment does not allow me to hold more than my tiny kitten and my hamster. I would love to meet more pets which is what led me here. I make sure to keep pets inside or heavily supervised if they are allowed to go out in the yard. I am very careful with walking dogs as I am aware of how exciteable they are.

About: I have had dogs all my life. Never had a dog not like me. The property is fully fenced 6 acres for your pups to run and play on! I have a very open schedule currently. I have plenty of time to play with, and care for guest pups. My schedule is picking up and dropping of kids:) We have a huge 6 acre fenced yard. Our dog is a big, sweet, female. She gets along with most dogs. And will be a great playmate!

About: I have always been a loving and caring pet owner, and now I work with pets in a professional setting. I currently work at a dog daycare and grooming facility. I also volunteer at the Humane Society most of my weekends, and I board animals for my close family and friends. I work Monday to Friday, so I am looking for something to do on the weekends for a little extra cash. I would be free pretty much any time Saturday or Sunday. However lately I have been getting random days during the week off. I will try to update those available days as quickly as possible. When I care for pets in other people's homes, it really depends on the animal. One of my aunts has two yorkies, and they really prefer to do their own thing, even when my aunt and uncle are home. So I just let them have their space and I am just around if they want company. My other aunt has a Great Pyrenees and he is quite loving and wants to always be near someone. So I let him follow me around or I will go outside with him and let him run around and play. I always do my best to engage with them while also respecting anyone's space.

They have a beautiful shady backyard with green grass, and Thomas lives with his parents who are very sweet and also dog lovers. Thomas took my dog on a few walks a day and cared for her overnight. He also sent me photos of her warming up to his family. I could tell he really liked her and missed his dog that passed away of 17 years. I would feel confident leaving my pets with him anytime. About: I have worked in Veterinary Pet Hospitals as a technician. I worked for the Humane Society for 10 years. I've been a professional dog trainer for 15 years. I am involved in dog shows through agility and rally and obedience. I have five dogs and 2 cats of my own. I groom my own dogs and my friend's dogs. I have professional grade tools in order to complete grooms successfully. My background has provided me with knowledge of dogs behavior. I use this knowledge to have successful, fun grooms, walks and visits. I have owned jack Russel, Dobermans, Pointers, Siberian Huskies, poodles and every mix of dog you could imagine. Having worked for the Humane Society for so long you can imagine I've had every mix and special need dog in my house. I have also done foster care for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. I am familiar with most medications and how to administer them. Messes do not bother me ! Dogs are kind of my life! I am walking, training, showing and grooming full time. Weekends I am at the shows. When your pet is at my house, they will be treated as part of our pack❤️ When I am at your house, I will be clean and respectful. I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I work for Rover part time. I do have some other activities thru out the day but am generally available. I work hard to fit everyone in🙂 I have a fenced area for your dogs to play in while they are here. We have a schedule of nap time and playtime so your dogs will have fun and be rested when they get home. Not over stimulated😊
