About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a small farm. I have chickens, ducks, turkies, pigs, dogs and cats. Alone with rabbits and guinea pigs. we are a very pet friendly area. Live in a wooded area on a dead end street. I currently work from home and have time for pet care. My youngest daughter is also in the home. Also have my granddaughter here on the weekends. she is 11. I will provide care in my home since I work from home this is the best for me at this time. I also have my 11 yr old granddaughter here on weekends.

With flexible scheduling, I am able to be there for your pet(s) at all hours of the day and night so there is constant care while you are away. My family and I have worked with many kinds of pets including dogs, small rodents, rabbits, lizards, parakeets, and other birds such as outdoor ducks and chickens. My family even raised our own ducks! I am especially open to puppy care as I am patient and happy to work with house training and such. My patience for senior care is also extensive so I'm glad to work with your pets in their golden years as well. I am an artist who works from a home studio and I do not have any set hours. Because of this flexibility, I am available at all hours of the day and night in my own home for your pet. While I would prefer to sleep in my own house to be available for my family, I'm happy to make early morning or late evening visits to your home for your pet or have them stay with me where I can tend to them all night if necessary. My goal is to work out the best set up to make your pet comfortable. I leash pets at all times when outside with them in my yard and have a designated area for them for potty breaks. I also have crate options if you prefer crate training. For pets other than dogs, we keep them separated in a designated area depending on what type of pet it is and what their habitat requires (cage, crate, tank, etc). Visits to your home is entirely up to you! Whatever instructions and requests you have for that scenario is something we could plan out beforehand, and I can even send you daily updates.
About: Throughout my life, I’ve always surrounded myself with animals. Ive owned horses, dogs, and cats and also have extensive experience with rescue dogs who have endured trauma. I have yet to meet an animal that I haven’t befriended and continue to work closely with rescues and assist people in rehoming their pets. I just left my job as a social worker and am currently pursuing my MSW. I am looking for a part time gig to help get me through school, so my schedule is pretty open. :) I normally go for a morning walk with my own rescue pup and then hit the yoga mat and get some school work done. My schedule is very flexible. I have a rescue dog who does not get along with other doggos (disappointing but we respect his boundaries). Therefore, I wouldn’t be able to house your doggo at my home but open to house sitting and for advance notice clients, I can have my father watch my dog for a week or so.

I work in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid as an independent contractor. My work schedule/hours can be very flexible/adjusted accordingly as long as I have advanced notice to plan accordingly. I live on 4.5 acres with a long driveway set back from the road. My property backs up to a wooded trail network. I also have a very large, gated Freedom Fenced in dog play area on my property. Dogs are free to all areas of home without restriction. Unfortunately, my husband and I are allergic to cats so I am unable to board them. I do have a 3 year old daughter, so if boarding, pet must be good around children. I also do not board or provide in home services for dogs that are exposed to smoking or vaping of any kind. Please note; when providing pet care services, I will never leave a dog unsupervised, or under the care of anyone other than myself.
