About: I am in my 50's and I have had 2 dogs but both have passed away from old age. I love to travel and have decided not to have any more pets to make it easier for adventure getaways. However, I miss having dogs! This is my way of getting my dog fix! Your pets will be well taken care of and loved. I have used Rover in the past and know how important the right people are for taking care of our pets. I am very patient and loving to pets and especially care for them when they are missing their owners. I can walk them around the block frequently or as instructed by you. I am used to giving medications as well. I love taking care of doggies! I will be the only person watching your dogs full time. No one will be helping me. I am retired except for watching pets and I will be the sole person watching your pet/pets, so when you book with me, my focus is all for them and no other work except some housework. I have a fairly large house in a well-established neighborhood with rarely a crime. On my street there are a lot of active people walking pets as it is a safe place to walk. I are located close to a park as well. There are security cameras covering the 2 entrances and the garage inside and outside.
About: I have experience attending to all types of dogs--from those who are hyperactive to others who sleep on the couch all day and need some medical attention. Dogs bring so much happiness to my life, and I believe they deserve the best care and attention for all they give to us! I am happy to take your dog hiking, swimming, or just watch them nap on the couch, whatever the need. While I'm happy to cuddle with them on the couch, I'll also abide by the rules you've set up for your pet to encouarage their best behavior. In general, I am a very professional and attentive caretaker who is timely and responsible. I'm excited to meet your dog and get to know him or her! Please note that I am working a full time job, so I will not be able to spend the entire day with your pet if house sitting on those days.
About: I have been a dog lover all my life I currently love a Newfoundland full time and have a fenced yard and a gated kennel to board, I enjoy taking dogs on strolls and spoiling them with a good brushing. I always wash and bleach bowls and hygiene is important to me when it comes to animals. I work diligently to manage risk and keep a safe environment. My dog is a sweet Newfoundland we have a fenced yard and love playing. I would love to come walk your dog and give them some one on one time.
About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. I am unable to have a dog or cat of my own at this stage in my life, due to money and living restraints, but I am thankful when I can spend time with others’ animals in this way. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love! I am currently a Graduate Admissions Specialist / DSO at the University of Idaho! This means that I do work full-time (8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break) on campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I work full-time from home on Thursdays. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week. I can provide drop-in visits before and after work, and on my lunch break, or I am happy to stay in your home, where I will care for your pet before and after my work day, and during my lunch break if that is most comfortable! UPDATE: I have moved to Lewiston, ID as of 7/31/2026. I still commute to work in Moscow, ID for the time being, but will be available in the mornings before work and evenings after. I am currently looking for a full-time remote job or position located in Lewiston. I will update this section once my employment situation changes! If your pet requires more frequent attention, I might be your gal for a weekend trip! On the weekends, I do not work and have lots of time to hang around with your pet(s)! :) At the moment I am not able to be boarding at my own address, and I am open to house-sitting after I have established a positive face-to-face relationship with each client. I will adhere to any and all established rules and routines for animals in their home to provide the most comfortable and safe experience that is possible.
