“Repeat customer here. We take our two dogs to Reagan and feel confident they are cared for! They are happy to go and happy when the return. I'm convinced my lab rather stay there most times. Which both breaks my heart and makes me feel good he is happy. Totally recommend!”

About: I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past and loved them dearly. I haven't had my own dogs recently but have enjoyed my friends dogs and cats immensely! I miss the company of pets and thought this would be an excellent way to have my pet fix by taking care of other peoples pets. Please bring your pets bed or if he or she is comfortable they are free to sleep with me and sit on any couch or chair in the house. I would love to take them for walks to the beach if you approve. I would take them for walks around this quite neighborhood and since I am retired we would have lots of time together to play and enjoy each others company.
“Sierra was so peaceful and kind. My typically high strung pup went with her easily. Sierra gave him treats and gave him loves when he was feeling puny. She is good vibes through and through. Highly recommend!”

“Haden took excellent care with our Banjo, introducing him to her two big friendly dogs. Huge fenced shady acreage to run around in (although Banjo preferred to sit, sniff, listen and contemplate life). He even got to meet a sheep (from safely behind a fence)!”

“Belinda is delightful and for this, our second visit, our dog Daisy actually pulled to get through the gate into the space and was not in a flat panic to leave. That is a sign of a good day in my book.”

“Jennifer was so sweet and accommodating to our Kodybear! And so flexible, which was really helpful for us and what we needed to do. Very easy communication, her place is made for all kinds of dogs, lots of space in and outdoors, tons of toys, baby gates, blankets, beds.. I know he had a great time. :) She even fed him when we realized we would be a bit late for his dinner time. Too bad we’ll be moving, otherwise we’d definitely book her again! Thank you! :)”

“While staying in Port Ludlow, we left our pup Lucy with Lauren for an afternoon while we played golf nearby. Her communication in making arrangements was great, and Lucy had a great stay. Thanks!”
“Kimberly is wonderful! She has an awesome property for dogs to run around and play. She would provide constant updates with great pictures of Lila. She even cleaned Lila up after rolling around in the mud. I will be using Kimberly again!”

“I cannot recommend Tyler and Emily enough for dog care. My dogs immediately felt comfortable in their house, which for one of my dogs can be challenging, as she is quite nervous in new situations. I got tons of communication and photos throughout their stay, and both dogs were snuggling and playing as if they’d known them for a while. I will definitely be back and if anyone is needing incredible dog care, look no further.”

“As always, Angela saves the day! She messaged me back right away despite me requesting daycare with very short notice. She saved me the stress and trip of dropping them off or picking up. And she took amazing care of our babies while they were with her. She’s the best!”

“Nicole was a great communicator, very professional, and very, very kind! Nicole and Cody took great care of our dog O’Henry and we will definitely book with them in the future.”

About: What is a home without a dog? I have always had a dog- or a few dogs. They make life good. I live with my husband and our two teenage daughters. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. While I will be the primary contact and person in charge of your dog, know that my family will also be available and more than willing to help- we love dogs! Happy to have yours with us :). Your dog(s) will be warmly welcomed into our home- made to feel comfortable and kept safe. Our dog Larry is a part of our family. I similarly care for dogs that I host, as if they were a part of our family, and in a way that you would want - love and attention, exercise and play. All the loves.
About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.

“Hazel had a blast hanging out with Jax! She came home happy, tired, and well cared for. It was clear she had a wonderful time, and we’d definitely trust Virginia with Hazel again!”

“Brooke was great! While our dog only stayed with her for a couple hours, I received pictures of our pup and her son playing together. She was kind, attentive, and flexible! If we're back in the area and need someone to watch our pup, we will absolutely reach out to Brooke again. She also had a great place with a fenced in deck!”

“Annette is a treasure. Her experience and love for dogs made the day visit for our 2 mini poodles a success. She kept us updated, she followed all instructions and provided numerous pictures and updates. Her after visit report was detailed and quite useful. We would recommend her highly!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 722 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Uncas. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Uncas commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 722 sitters in Uncas, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
