I will follow whatever walking, and eating instructions that you set for your pet, to keep their schedules as normal as possible to help relieve the stress of being away. Our home is their home! When my partner and I needed someone to take care of our dogs for more than 10 hours, Abby saved the day! Abby has a calming presence and our dogs took to her immediately. Within 5 minutes, one of our dogs (Emmie) was giving her kisses and by the end of the day, another one of our dogs (Cloe) was lying next to Abby on our sofa. Cloe is a rescue dog from the streets of Puerto Rico and never lets any stranger sit next to her, much less would Cloe cuddle up to someone she doesn't know. I consider it a miracle that Abby was able to make Cloe so comfortable within hours. This is especially important to us given that Cloe had a tough life before us and is only now beginning to trust other people more. Throughout the day, Abby gave us updates on our dogs and she was able to stay until we got back home late in the evening. We feel that in addition to being a wonderful dog sitter, she is a sweet human being - she's kind, humble, and easy to talk to. We certainly plan on calling Abby the next time we need dog sitting and we feel so lucky to have found her.
We were nervous about leaving our babies with someone new, especially our 15 year old but we needn’t have been. Abbigail communicated with us, sent photos and even let our younger one sleep with her as she does with us. Would highly recommended her for in home pet sitting!
