“Megan is absolutely brilliant! We had our very typical border collie stay with her overnight. She's 8 years and never been with anyone but us, so naturally we were a bit apprehensive. Jess is a very typical Border collie, neurotic, incredibly intelligent,very anxious, and quirky. We met with Megan and her 2 gorgeous dogs the week before and we could tell she really cared for them. Megan immediately put us at ease and we knew she was in good hands. Drop off was great, and there was plenty of space with lots of room to run around. I gave her the instructions for Jess' food and away we went. Not once did we worry about Jess, I probably worried about Megan more. She sent us a couple of photos to show she had settled in, and you could tell Jess was happy. When we picked her up, Jess came to the door, saw us and went back in! You could tell she had been very well looked after, and Jess was very relaxed and happy. I couldn't ask for anything better. Jess got home and promptly fell asleep, a very happy dog. It's so reassuring to know that someone loves Jess as much as we do. We will not hesitate to use Megan again. Amazing dog sitter, and will do anything to make sure your dog is happy. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life from a young age. I’ve raised my own dogs from puppyhood through to adulthood as well as having cats and I regularly care for my brother’s Staffy, who is the sweetest soul! I was also fortunate to learn puppy training to a very high standard from an ex-police dog handler, giving me a strong understanding of dog behaviour, training and communication. I’m a very nurturing, patient and soft-hearted person who genuinely loves getting to know each animal’s individual personality. While this isn’t a private fenced garden, the green space is frequently used by local dog walkers, so there are plenty of opportunities for toilet breaks and fresh air throughout the day. As the area is not fenced, I would always keep dogs securely on a lead when outside unless their owner has specifically discussed a suitable alternative with me. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs and will follow their usual routines, feeding instructions, medication and house rules wherever possible. I’ll make sure they have a calm, safe and loving environment, with plenty of company, walks, playtime, enrichment and cuddles. I’ll also keep owners updated and let them know promptly if I notice anything unusual about their pet.

She asked all the right questions beforehand, sent plenty of updates and photos and went above and beyond to make sure our three were comfortable and fed (even when Rossi wasn’t eating she persisted and tried various things until he did!). There were quite a few tasks involved and Maddie did every single one within only hour drops ins, all while ensuring the kitties were given attention, love and care. About: I've had pets ever since I can remember, from Dogs, Cats, Birds, Guinea Pigs, Tropical and Marine Fish. I have a loving family home that they are welcome in and will be treated as one of my own during their stay with me. Dogs are the best and my favourite friends though, I have had my own dogs since I first left home and always trained them myself with routine, reward and lots of love and attention. It also gets you outside and walking and seeing some wonderful scenery, I dont like to do the same walk each day so keeps it interesting for both me and the dogs. I currently work 95% of my time from home, so your dogs would be more than welcome to join me and my dogs for the day or night. They would be going on a daily walk for at least an hour, although this often ends up being longer. I work from home and so have plenty of time for a companion with a lunch time break for walks and after work, for those that have stayed the night there’s also a morning walk available I have a fully enclosed fenced garden, your dog will get one to one time with me, I have spare bowls and treats and leads as these are often forgotten when rushing off on holiday.

When your pup stays with us, they won't just be 'looked after', they will be welcomed as part of the family, showered with attention, and given the exact same high standard of love and care that we give our own girls every single day. Because I work full-time from home and my partner is a firefighter working shift patterns, our house is rarely empty and we are fully available for boarding and sitting all week long! Dog care isn't something we squeeze into our day, it is the foundation of our daily routine. Your dog will seamlessly step into the structured, loving schedule we maintain for our two girls. A typical day here includes: Exercise: At least two dedicated walks a day to keep everyone happy and active. We live in a rural area surrounded by fields and long walks. Routine: Set breakfast and tea times, along with constant access to fresh water. Regular Breaks: Toilet breaks are given at least every 2 hours throughout the day. Since I am home all day, your pup will have constant companionship, regular stretches, and plenty of attention right alongside Penny and Pearl. Safety, comfort, and peace of mind are our top priorities. We have a large, fully fenced, and secure garden where dogs can play safely. Our kitchen and dining area features large bi-fold doors that look out onto the garden; when the weather permits, we love to leave these wide open to give the dogs complete freedom to roam between the house and the fresh air. Our home is spacious enough to accommodate your dog's specific habits, and I am more than happy to crate your dog whenever necessary for their comfort, meal times, or bedtime routine. I grew up with an energetic loving Beagle named Snoopy and now have a happy young Jackhuahua named Chico who enjoys lots of walks and cuddles. I currently have a beautiful, well trained 2 year old male husky who is neutered I am a registered nurse and currently work from home full time, Monday - Friday. I can manage my own hours as needed, so I’m very flexible every weekday/ weekend. I have my own husky who is very active. Walks can be adjusted to your dogs needs, but our dog walks 6-6:30am, 9-10am, and 8-9pm, and there is access to the garden during the day. Jess is a very typical Border collie, neurotic, incredibly intelligent,very anxious, and quirky. We met with Megan and her 2 gorgeous dogs the week before and we could tell she really cared for them. Megan immediately put us at ease and we knew she was in good hands. Drop off was great, and there was plenty of space with lots of room to run around. I gave her the instructions for Jess' food and away we went. Not once did we worry about Jess, I probably worried about Megan more. She sent us a couple of photos to show she had settled in, and you could tell Jess was happy. When we picked her up, Jess came to the door, saw us and went back in! You could tell she had been very well looked after, and Jess was very relaxed and happy. I couldn't ask for anything better. Jess got home and promptly fell asleep, a very happy dog. It's so reassuring to know that someone loves Jess as much as we do. We will not hesitate to use Megan again. Amazing dog sitter, and will do anything to make sure your dog is happy. About: Hi I’m Janet With over 25 years experience caring from dogs of all ages; from playful puppies to golden oldies, I understand that every dog has their personality, routine and needs. I can administer medication, follow your dog’s usual routine and provide the care they need. I offer a home from home boarding experience, where every dog is treated as part of the family , with tons of love, attention, exercise and reassurance throughout their stay . Clean and well behaved small to medium sized dogs are even allowed to curl up on the sofa , if that’s what they are used to. My one to one approach , unlike busy boarding kennels and boarders that take on multiple dogs from multiple families , allows me to get to know your dog , follow their routine and help them feel settled whilst they are away from home . Your dog’s well-being is always my priority, so you can have peace of mind , knowing they are in safe and experienced hands . I am currently transitioning from a part-time school role to dedicate myself fully to professional dog boarding . Your dog will enjoy constant companionship as my husband, Richard, also works from home on a full time basis and is always on hand to keep your dog company . Our household is usually very quiet and settled; our children are grown up , with only one son still living at home. We also share our home with our own adorable dog, Theo the Sproodle . The house is detached with a large walled garden at the front and a large secure garden at the back so there is plenty of room for your dog(s) to play and chill out . We have a large kitchen , utility room and living room all of which are dog friendly so there’s plenty of space for your pooch to find a quiet corner of their own without feeling overwhelmed . I will only take on a max of 2 dogs who must be from the same home . My dog Theo is a fun loving sociable Sproodle who will love some company . Until recently we had a golden retriever that sadly passed away so Theo is used to sharing his home with another dog .
“Mika has had a fantastic weekend with Joanne and her family including trips out to a fair, a dog show and even a duck race. Lots of pictures of Mika's adventures were sent too.
