I couldn’t be happier with Luke and the care he gave to Lola during her recent boarding stay! From the very beginning, communication was excellent — quick updates, photos, and videos throughout the visit gave me total peace of mind. It was clear that Lola felt right at home. She got plenty of walks, cuddles, and playtime, and came back to me happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Luke to anyone looking for a caring and reliable boarder. I’ll definitely be booking again!

Megan is absolutely brilliant! We had our very typical border collie stay with her overnight. She's 8 years and never been with anyone but us, so naturally we were a bit apprehensive. Jess is a very typical Border collie, neurotic, incredibly intelligent, very anxious, and quirky. We met with Megan and her 2 gorgeous dogs the week before and we could tell she really cared for them. Megan immediately put us at ease and we knew she was in good hands. Drop off was great, and there was plenty of space with lots of room to run around. I gave her the instructions for Jess' food and away we went. Not once did we worry about Jess, I probably worried about Megan more. She sent us a couple of photos to show she had settled in, and you could tell Jess was happy. When we picked her up, Jess came to the door, saw us and went back in! You could tell she had been very well looked after, and Jess was very relaxed and happy. I couldn't ask for anything better. Jess got home and promptly fell asleep, a very happy dog. It's so reassuring to know that someone loves Jess as much as we do. We will not hesitate to use Megan again. Amazing dog sitter, and will do anything to make sure your dog is happy. Thanks again Megan.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced dog owner with many years of hands-on experience caring for my own dogs. I currently have two small, friendly dogs of my own, so I understand just how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with a much-loved member of the family. I’m patient, attentive and very happy to adapt to each dog’s individual personality and routine, whether that means leisurely sniff-filled walks, playtime, plenty of cuddles or simply some quiet company. I’m also comfortable caring for older dogs and dogs who prefer a gentler pace. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first, and I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, walking and care routines closely. I’ll also send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for. My schedule is flexible, which allows me plenty of time to give your dog the attention and care they need. I’m available for regular or occasional walks, drop-in visits, doggy day care and overnight boarding. I’m happy to work around your dog’s existing routine wherever possible, including their usual walk, meal and rest times. I live with my partner Joe, who loves animals too and may occasionally help me with pets staying in our home. He is registered with Rover as an additional caretaker so your pet is always in safe hands. I have a secure, fenced garden and two friendly small dogs of my own. Any visiting dog would be introduced to them carefully, and I’m very happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking and sleeping routines and any specific care instructions you provide. Dogs in mine and Joe’s care will receive plenty of attention and will always be treated as part of the family.

About: Hello, I’m Leila! 💕 I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have over 15 years of experience caring for them 🥰. I grew up with my English Springer Spaniel, who lived to 14 and was a very active, playful boy with separation anxiety, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs with their own routines and individual needs. For the past two years, I’ve also been mum to Teddy, a Romanian rescue who is full of energy! Living with him has taught me a lot about understanding dog behaviour, being patient, managing triggers and making sure dogs get the right balance of exercise, enrichment and downtime 🐾🦦 I’m comfortable with energetic, nervous, anxious and rescue dogs and understand that every dog is different, beautiful and unique in their own way🐕🐩 I also have experience caring for friends’ and family members’ dogs. I think this will also be very beneficial for Teddy, he is always looking for new playmates, or a senior could also teach him new confidence ☺️. I work remotely full-time, so I’m able to fit walks, playtime and check-ins around my working day and provide plenty of company when caring for your dog 🐕‍🦺🦴 I work remotely full-time, Monday to Friday, which means I’m around at home for much of the day and can easily fit walks, playtime, cuddles and toilet breaks around my work. I’m flexible with boarding, house sitting, walks and drop-in visits, including evenings and weekends 🐶 I have a secure, enclosed garden and a comfortable home where your dog can feel relaxed and at home. As an experienced rescue dog owner, I understand the importance of patience, supervision and respecting a dog’s individual boundaries. I’ll follow your routines and instructions carefully and make sure your pet is safe, happy and well cared for ❤️

During the week Amy made sure she followed Coco's established schedule and sent us regular photos and videos of their long walks and play time with her dog (another Coco!). She absolutely loved staying and we hope Amy is going to be available to look after her again soon!

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life from a young age. I’ve raised my own dogs from puppyhood through to adulthood as well as having cats and I regularly care for my brother’s Staffy, who is the sweetest soul! I was also fortunate to learn puppy training to a very high standard from an ex-police dog handler, giving me a strong understanding of dog behaviour, training and communication. I’m a very nurturing, patient and soft-hearted person who genuinely loves getting to know each animal’s individual personality. I understand that every dog is different so I’m happy to adapt my approach to suit their temperament, routine, boundaries and needs whether they’re energetic, nervous, independent, cuddly or somewhere in between. I absolutely love being outdoors and spend lots of my own time walking and hiking, so getting out for adventures with a four legged companion is something I’d genuinely enjoy!! I also have experience working in the care sector, so I’m confident and responsible when it comes to medication, routines and individual care needs. Ultimately, I want every animal in my care to feel safe, loved, stimulated and comfortable while their owners are away 🐶❤️ As a self-employed artist, I manage my own schedule, which gives me lots of flexibility and means I can dedicate my full attention to your pet when I’m pet sitting. I can plan my work around their routine rather than leaving them waiting around for me. I’m particularly flexible with boarding and longer stays and I love being able to give pets plenty of walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles and company throughout the day. I’m happy to discuss individual routines and work around what your pet is used to at home. I live on the ground floor of a beautiful old mill with lovely high ceilings and a huge area of greenery surrounding the property. While this isn’t a private fenced garden, the green space is frequently used by local dog walkers, so there are plenty of opportunities for toilet breaks and fresh air throughout the day. As the area is not fenced, I would always keep dogs securely on a lead when outside unless their owner has specifically discussed a suitable alternative with me. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs and will follow their usual routines, feeding instructions, medication and house rules wherever possible. I’ll make sure they have a calm, safe and loving environment, with plenty of company, walks, playtime, enrichment and cuddles. I’ll also keep owners updated and let them know promptly if I notice anything unusual about their pet.

About: I've owned my own cat for the past five years, giving me hands-on experience with daily care, feeding, playtime, grooming, and understanding feline behaviour. Before getting my own cat, I regularly looked after cats for family and friends while they were away, providing feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, companionship, and plenty of attention. Maddie was excellent in taking care of our three babies (kitties) and provided me with plenty of reassurance while we were away. She asked all the right questions beforehand, sent plenty of updates and photos and went above and beyond to make sure our three were comfortable and fed (even when Rossi wasn’t eating she persisted and tried various things until he did!). There were quite a few tasks involved and Maddie did every single one within only hour drops ins, all while ensuring the kitties were given attention, love and care. The house was super clean when we came home & she made sure everything was secure. I’m very happy we met and I will be happy to have Maddie take care of the babies again!

About: Hi, we’re Annabelle & Chris! and we have had dogs around us ever since we were both little or born so we have always been around dogs, we absolutely LOVE them. We would even say they are better than people!! We’re used to all different breeds and sizes of dogs and no dog is ever too much to handle. We like to think we get a good sense of what a dog is like just from spending a short amount of time with them. We have also owned cats previously so we are super happy to offer a comforting friendly face for your furry friend. Rest assured, your dog is with genuine dog lovers. We can't wait to meet them! Me and Chris have decided to do this together, meaning we can offer extra support for your furry friends! Annabelle - I currently work full time from home so can offer your furry friend company all day long. I have 2 dogs of my own so I am used to the routine of getting up at 5:30am to give them a good walk, breakfast and playtime before starting work (from home) I then finish work and take them for another long walk in the evening followed by dinner and playtime in the garden or living room ( weather dependant) so they’re tired out before bedtime. Chris - has his own business so is also very flexible on when and where he can work. So there will always be someone available for your furry friend! If you’re like us, do you hate the thought of your pet being left alone for hours on end while you go out to work? Do you pay ridiculous costs just for someone to drop in and walk your dog for a short while? We are here to help! We are offering daycare, boarding, pet walking, all you’re pets needs! Our biggest objective is that your pet feels safe and always has company. I have a fully fenced and gated garden at our home address, so there will be no escapees. However before taking on any boarders we would be looking to offer dog walking, day care services, to get to know each pup personally and to make sure you and your beloved pup are comfortable and all needs are catered for. We personally like to know our dogs feel at ease when staying with someone and that we’re not leaving them with a stranger, this is the relationship we’d love to build with you and your furry friend!

About: I've had pets ever since I can remember, from Dogs, Cats, Birds, Guinea Pigs, Tropical and Marine Fish. I have a loving family home that they are welcome in and will be treated as one of my own during their stay with me. Dogs are the best and my favourite friends though, I have had my own dogs since I first left home and always trained them myself with routine, reward and lots of love and attention. It also gets you outside and walking and seeing some wonderful scenery, I dont like to do the same walk each day so keeps it interesting for both me and the dogs. I currently work 95% of my time from home, so your dogs would be more than welcome to join me and my dogs for the day or night. They would be going on a daily walk for at least an hour, although this often ends up being longer. I work from home and so have plenty of time for a companion with a lunch time break for walks and after work, for those that have stayed the night there’s also a morning walk available I have a fully enclosed fenced garden, your dog will get one to one time with me, I have spare bowls and treats and leads as these are often forgotten when rushing off on holiday.

Gemma has been amazing today! My 12 week puppy had a couple of accidents but that didn’t put Gemma off! She’s more than happy to see Henry next week. He’s had a fabulous walk and played with her dogs toys too! Thank you so much!

About: Our lives truly revolve around dogs, and we wouldn't have it any other way! I am the proud parent of two incredible girls who bring absolute joy to our home: Penny, who I’ve raised and loved since she was a tiny puppy (she’s now nearly 6!), and Pearl, a beautiful soul we rescued in August 2025. Caring for them has given me deep, hands-on experience with different stages of a dog's life, from navigating the energetic puppy years with Penny to providing the patient, nurturing, and gentle care needed to help a rescue like Pearl blossom. Both of our girls are incredibly playful, and our household is entirely set up for fun, safety, and endless affection. When your pup stays with us, they won't just be 'looked after', they will be welcomed as part of the family, showered with attention, and given the exact same high standard of love and care that we give our own girls every single day. Because I work full-time from home and my partner is a firefighter working shift patterns, our house is rarely empty and we are fully available for boarding and sitting all week long! Dog care isn't something we squeeze into our day, it is the foundation of our daily routine. Your dog will seamlessly step into the structured, loving schedule we maintain for our two girls. A typical day here includes: Exercise: At least two dedicated walks a day to keep everyone happy and active. We live in a rural area surrounded by fields and long walks. Routine: Set breakfast and tea times, along with constant access to fresh water. Regular Breaks: Toilet breaks are given at least every 2 hours throughout the day. Since I am home all day, your pup will have constant companionship, regular stretches, and plenty of attention right alongside Penny and Pearl. Safety, comfort, and peace of mind are our top priorities. We have a large, fully fenced, and secure garden where dogs can play safely. Our kitchen and dining area features large bi-fold doors that look out onto the garden; when the weather permits, we love to leave these wide open to give the dogs complete freedom to roam between the house and the fresh air. We understand that every dog has different needs when it comes to feeling secure. Our home is spacious enough to accommodate your dog's specific habits, and I am more than happy to crate your dog whenever necessary for their comfort, meal times, or bedtime routine. With two friendly resident dogs and a highly secure, supervised environment, your fur baby will be safe, happy, and entirely at ease.

About: Ive never known a life without dogs, they are a part of the family. I grew up with an energetic loving Beagle named Snoopy and now have a happy young Jackhuahua named Chico who enjoys lots of walks and cuddles. I believe all dogs are different in their own amazing ways and should be treated with nothing but love and respect (and plenty of treats!) Anyone who knows me will know I am a little bit obsessed with dogs, I've been known to cross many streets to pet the dog on the other side, because who would want to miss out on meeting a cute new dog? I work most weekends so am available during the week for any walks or checking in on your pets. I work most weekends, so have all the time in the week for walking, sitting or just popping in on your little fur babies when needed. I have one dog at home but he has another home nearby he can go to if your dog doesn’t like other dogs company! I have a large fenced in garden attached to a cricket field that is easily accessible for a quick walk. I’m also based near many scenic rural paths for those wanting longer walks.

About: As lifelong dog owners, caring for dogs has always been a natural and rewarding part of our lives. We have experience providing a loving, safe, and attentive environment, understanding the importance of routine, exercise, and companionship for each individual dog. We are at home full-time, so there will always be someone present to give your dog the care and attention they deserve. Our two boys also adore dogs and are gentle, caring, and used to being around them. After recently losing our own beloved pet, we would love to open our home to care for other dogs while their owners are away, offering them the same affection, comfort, and reliability that we always gave our own. My husband Ryan will be providing care to your dogs also. I’m currently working part time but have lots of time to play and walk with your dogs there’s always someone available the house is not left unattended for long. My husband Ryan will also be caring for your dogs so they will have plenty of love. We have a fenced garden with a lock on the gate so your dog would feel secure and safe, they could use our home as if it was their own home and would be allowed on furniture and treat it as their own. We can also crate them if you would prefer

About: I've had cats since the age of 3, and never stopped having them. Alongside many other pets of all shapes and sizes. I started helping out a friend with her dog sitting jobs and it's continued from there. I've dog sat and walked , cat sat and checked up on friends and clients pets. One off walks and regular walks. From small senior Jack Russell to two bounding golden retrievers. I've had a good few years of experience now to offer more services . I'm currently working part time so I have the time to schedule in walks, house sitting/pet sitting and call ins. I have one ongoing walk with a Jack Russell and would like to take on more pet care work. Depending on what the owner wants , whether it's a routine walk, a pop in or a stay over. I'm happy to do it all. Happy to follow instructions to make sure your babies are happy and calm. My cat is an outdoor cat but understand some prefer theirs to stay in. With dogs I can make sure they are well seen to and will make sure I know how long they don't mind being left alone. Can pop in to fill up water and food bowls or to let any out to use to toilet.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life, but recently I’ve dedicated all of my time to looking after them, gaining experience with a wide variety of breeds. Whether big or small, energetic or calm, I’ve had the chance to care for many different types of dogs, which has helped me understand their unique needs and personalities even better. I’m passionate about making sure every dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. When I’m house sitting / boarding, I treat each pet as if they were my own, ensuring they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’m very attentive to their routines and preferences, so they can feel as relaxed and happy as possible. In any emergency, I’ll contact you immediately and take swift, responsible action to keep your pet safe and healthy. I also have experience with other pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, and cats, so I’m comfortable caring for a range of animals. I love all dog breeds, so no matter what kind of dog you have, they’re more than welcome with me. In fact, we used to dog-sit for my mum’s friends while they were on holiday, and their dog always loved staying with me—he was so excited to see me and loved our daily walks! I’m committed to providing the best care and companionship for your pets while you’re away! :) I am currently available mornings and afternoons at the moment! So can dog walk and can sit at any time during the day/night. Always available. I give them lots of play time, nice long walks, bathroom breaks and of course lots of rest. About: I have shared my life with dogs for over 30 years, and there is rarely a time when I haven't had a furry companion by my side. Because I am at home full-time, your dog will never be left alone. My days revolve around companionship and care, ensuring your pet remains on their preferred schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime. We are lucky enough to live in the countryside, offering a peaceful environment. Whether your dog prefers long walks through the fields or snoozing on a rug by my side, they will find a safe, happy home here. As I am at home full-time, your dog becomes a true member of our family. They will enjoy unlimited playtime, constant snuggles, and the dedicated attention of myself and my two dog-loving children (ages 5 and 8). We are available for boarding 7 days a week, offering a lively, affectionate environment where your pet is never alone. I have a fenced garden so your dog can go in and out as they please. I don't use crates unless specifically requested. Your dog has the freedom of our home and the comfort of our sofa. We take full advantage of our rural location with multiple walks a day through quiet fields and lanes. My children are very respectful of dogs and have been raised to handle them gently.

About: I have experience in caring for dogs and cats through my family & friends. I haven’t had my own pet due to previous work commitments. I currently work part time and my son is home during the hours I work so your pet would always have someone responsible with them. I have a secure garden space and access to lots of lovely walks in my area. Your pet will have access to the downstairs areas of my home and both myself and my son to play and care for them.

About: Hi, I'm Adam, the owner of Purple Paw Walks. I'm passionate about providing reliable, caring, and professional pet care that gives owners complete peace of mind. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to get to know their routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether your dog is full of energy, nervous around new people, or simply enjoys a slower pace, I tailor my care to suit them. I offer one-to-one dog walks, pop-in visits, and in-home pet sitting, and I only accept one pet-sitting booking at a time. This means your pets receive my full attention without the stress of sharing my time with other bookings. I'm happy to care for puppies, adult dogs, senior pets, and cats, and I'm comfortable administering medication when required. You'll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well looked after while you're away. My aim is simple: to care for your pets as if they were my own and provide a service you can rely on every time. I'm currently working part-time while growing my pet care business, Purple Paw Walks, which gives me the flexibility to provide reliable and consistent care throughout the week. I offer dog walking, cat visits, pop-in visits, and in-home pet sitting, with availability during weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays (subject to availability). I always aim to be flexible where possible and will do my best to accommodate your pet's usual routine, helping them feel comfortable and settled while you're away. Your pet's safety, wellbeing, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each pet's routine, personality, and any specific requirements before providing care. When I'm visiting your home. I treat your home with the utmost respect and care for your pets as if they were my own. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, fresh water, feeding, toilet breaks, medication if required, and regular updates with photos for complete peace of mind.

About: I've grown up with animals, especially dogs. Whether it was my grandparents' German Shepherd or my own Jack Russell, I have an affinity with animals. I'm currently studying part-time and work part-time so there's a bit of flexibility for dog walking but it depends on my shift pattern. I'm an early riser, so morning walks are absolutely fine! I work 3 days a week in Lindley Huddersfield – pet sitting would be suitable if on certain days they can be left alone. Unfortunately I can't care for pets in my own home. Not because I don't want to but it's a rented property in a listed building.

About: Hi I’m Janet With over 25 years experience caring from dogs of all ages; from playful puppies to golden oldies, I understand that every dog has their personality, routine and needs. I can administer medication, follow your dog’s usual routine and provide the care they need. I offer a home from home boarding experience, where every dog is treated as part of the family , with tons of love, attention, exercise and reassurance throughout their stay . Clean and well behaved small to medium sized dogs are even allowed to curl up on the sofa , if that’s what they are used to. My one to one approach , unlike busy boarding kennels and boarders that take on multiple dogs from multiple families , allows me to get to know your dog , follow their routine and help them feel settled whilst they are away from home . Your dog’s well-being is always my priority, so you can have peace of mind , knowing they are in safe and experienced hands . I am currently transitioning from a part-time school role to dedicate myself fully to professional dog boarding . Your dog will enjoy constant companionship as my husband, Richard, also works from home on a full time basis and is always on hand to keep your dog company . Our household is usually very quiet and settled; our children are grown up , with only one son still living at home. We also share our home with our own adorable dog, Theo the Sproodle . The house is detached with a large walled garden at the front and a large secure garden at the back so there is plenty of room for your dog(s) to play and chill out . We have a large kitchen , utility room and living room all of which are dog friendly so there’s plenty of space for your pooch to find a quiet corner of their own without feeling overwhelmed . I will only take on a max of 2 dogs who must be from the same home . My dog Theo is a fun loving sociable Sproodle who will love some company . Until recently we had a golden retriever that sadly passed away so Theo is used to sharing his home with another dog .
