“Lovely family and really cared for my Iris bedlington terrier. Sent lots of photos which really reassured us as it was the first time we have left her behind and was quite nervous and sad about leaving her. Can't recommend Kirsty and the rest of her wonderful family and will definitely be using their services if and when we next dare go away!”

“Jack was absolutely brilliant with our cocker spaniel. He put my mind at rest when we visited and Red settled at his house immediately. We got daily updates and photos, showing Red was having a great time with him. He clearly knows how to deal with looking after other people's pets with patience, understanding and knowledge. I highly recommend him and Red can't wait for our next trip away.”

“I felt very secure leaving Tilly with Luke. I felt confident leaving Tilly in the care of someone kind, calm, and knowledgeable about dogs and their welfare. It was wonderful to get updates and photos of her while I was away, too. Luke will always be my first choice for looking after Tilly while I am away; I have no hesitation in recommending him! Tilly was taken to the local Christmas fair for her off-leash runs and lead walks and also bought a treat, which was much appreciated. Thanks again, Luke and partner”

“Another week for Bobby with Helena; loads of great updates and Bobby clearly enjoyed it and had an amazing week there. Met a few other dogs that he’s met previously and some new ones, no issues with that and would absolutely recommend Helena”

“Our Frenchie Daisy had such a lovely time with Anca and her family. She was extremely well looked after and treated as one of their own family. We received updates, picture and videos throughout her stay and can honestly say that we were in no doubt at anytime about how well she was cared for. Thank you so much Anca, Daisy cannot wait to stay again 😁”

“Emma provided the perfect stay for Pippa, our Yellow Labrador. Pippa was very relaxed with all of Emma's lovely family. Pippa settled in quickly and was taken for some long walks. We received several photos of Pippa so we could see how settled and happy she was. It was also evident that Emma and her family enjoyed looking after Pippa! We highly recommend Emma and will definitely use her service again.”

“Claudia and the family were outstanding. The space is a dream for any dog. Super safe and brilliant for dogs who love the outdoors. Regular communication and really helped me out with a last minute request. 10/10”

“Excellent as always - Clementine always seems really settled and Gemma is great at adapting to Clem’s needs (e.g. Gemma did a fab job of keeping Clem cooling in the recent heatwave)”

“Thank you so much for looking after Tessa. She had a lovely time and as soon as she met Sophie she looked happy. Sophie kept me up to date with pictures and Tessa looked happy and relaxed in all of them. I would definitely recommend Sophie and would have her pet sit Tessa again in the future:-)”

“I just want to say huge thank you to Megan for looking after my 8 year old Beagle. I felt so happy for finding such a great pet sitter. They all had a good time together and I had nothing to worry about. It was an amazing experience. I will definitely reach out again when needed :)”

“Dannielle was brilliant with or old Lab Rufus. He settled in immediately and we felt very happy that he would be loved and cared for while we were away. I'm not sure he missed us at all! Highly recommended!”

“Hannah is an amazing sitter. She was brilliant from the off. She looked after my 6 month old German Shepard puppy for a week whilst we were away. I was nervous about leaving her but Hannah made me feel really comfortable and my pup took to her straight away. Communication was great, got lots of pictures. So pleased with her care, would highly recommend and will use Hannah’s services again!”

“So happy we chose Ruth to look after Alfie. A lovely, friendly lady who obviously enjoys what she does and most importantly, we've picked up a happy healthy dog - who just wanted one more game of Frisby with her before coming home! Will definitely use Ruth again.”

“Alison was like an angel fallen from heaven. Our kitten is 19 years old and this is the first time we have left her alone for two weeks. We were afraid to take her to a cat daycare because we thought she would get depressed thinking that we had abandoned her after finding herself in a new environment and without her human protectors. Searching, searching we found this app and Alison. Upon reading the reviews we decided to take a chance and contact Alison. From the first moment she was very attentive, always willing to answer our questions. She even helped us to make the booking because this app is not very friendly haha. When Alison came to meet Mabrú, to our surprise the kitten began to purr as if she had known Alison all her life. Animal instinct always tells the truth! Seeing Mambru's (our kitten) reaction, we didn't hesitate a second longer and decided to hire Alison's services. Alison kept us up to date with what was happening with the kitten on each visit. She sent us photos constantly and she even took the time to send us videos. Thank you so much Alison! Thanks to you, Mambrú did not have to leave the environment that makes her feel safe and she did not feel alone either. We found Mambrú in perfect condition, even very happy, and that made us happy too. We will never be able to thank you enough.”

“This is the first time I left my cats with anyone other than family. I didn’t need to worry. Brontë sent me photos and updated me after each visit. The cats obviously loved her as they came out from under the bed for cuddles. Could not recommend Brontë more and will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Nick was lovely from the start including visiting beforehand to meet Nori. Nori has been looked after so well and this was so important for me to be able to enjoy some time away. Amazing communication and I could tell from the daily updates on the app how much he did each visit. Thank you, Nick. We (Nori really) will see you again.”

“Absolutely fabulous!! Barbara was wonderful looking after my cats! Nothing was too much trouble and she gave them lots of time and attention; they hardly noticed I was away and it meant I could really relax knowing they were ok. She took care of parcels that were delivered and also watered my plants and topped up the bird feeders!! 5 star sitter! ”

“Keeva kept us up to date with how our cats were doing and sent photos to put our minds at ease. She built up trust with our scaredy cat early on to make sure he was comfortable. Thank you so much ❤️”

The daily videos she sent were especially reassuring and showed just how comfortable the cats were with her. When we returned, it was clear their routine had been maintained and they showed no signs of stress. We highly recommend Torrie and will definitely book with her again next time!”

We received daily updates and pictures throughout our time away. Will definitely be using Ellie again for our next visit! Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Irena was absolutely wonderful and I will booking her in the future. She came round to meet my cat first and talk in person about the care needed. We went away for two weeks and Irena came every day like clockwork to come and check on Poppy, feed her and spend some time with her. I got so many picture and video updates whilst I was away which helped me to see how happy she was which really put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend to anyone.”

“Gemma has been amazing today! My 12 week puppy had a couple of accidents but that didn’t put Gemma off! She’s more than happy to see Henry next week. He’s had a fabulous walk and played with her dogs toys too! Thank you so much!”

About: Our lives truly revolve around dogs, and we wouldn't have it any other way! I am the proud parent of two incredible girls who bring absolute joy to our home: Penny, who I’ve raised and loved since she was a tiny puppy (she’s now nearly 6!), and Pearl, a beautiful soul we rescued in August 2025. Caring for them has given me deep, hands-on experience with different stages of a dog's life, from navigating the energetic puppy years with Penny to providing the patient, nurturing, and gentle care needed to help a rescue like Pearl blossom. Both of our girls are incredibly playful, and our household is entirely set up for fun, safety, and endless affection. When your pup stays with us, they won't just be 'looked after', they will be welcomed as part of the family, showered with attention, and given the exact same high standard of love and care that we give our own girls every single day. Because I work full-time from home and my partner is a firefighter working shift patterns, our house is rarely empty and we are fully available for boarding and sitting all week long! Dog care isn't something we squeeze into our day, it is the foundation of our daily routine. Your dog will seamlessly step into the structured, loving schedule we maintain for our two girls. A typical day here includes: Exercise: At least two dedicated walks a day to keep everyone happy and active. We live in a rural area surrounded by fields and long walks. Routine: Set breakfast and tea times, along with constant access to fresh water. Regular Breaks: Toilet breaks are given at least every 2 hours throughout the day. Since I am home all day, your pup will have constant companionship, regular stretches, and plenty of attention right alongside Penny and Pearl. Safety, comfort, and peace of mind are our top priorities. We have a large, fully fenced, and secure garden where dogs can play safely. Our kitchen and dining area features large bi-fold doors that look out onto the garden; when the weather permits, we love to leave these wide open to give the dogs complete freedom to roam between the house and the fresh air. We understand that every dog has different needs when it comes to feeling secure. Our home is spacious enough to accommodate your dog's specific habits, and I am more than happy to crate your dog whenever necessary for their comfort, meal times, or bedtime routine. With two friendly resident dogs and a highly secure, supervised environment, your fur baby will be safe, happy, and entirely at ease.

About: As lifelong dog owners, caring for dogs has always been a natural and rewarding part of our lives. We have experience providing a loving, safe, and attentive environment, understanding the importance of routine, exercise, and companionship for each individual dog. We are at home full-time, so there will always be someone present to give your dog the care and attention they deserve. Our two boys also adore dogs and are gentle, caring, and used to being around them. After recently losing our own beloved pet, we would love to open our home to care for other dogs while their owners are away, offering them the same affection, comfort, and reliability that we always gave our own. My husband Ryan will be providing care to your dogs also. I’m currently working part time but have lots of time to play and walk with your dogs there’s always someone available the house is not left unattended for long. My husband Ryan will also be caring for your dogs so they will have plenty of love. We have a fenced garden with a lock on the gate so your dog would feel secure and safe, they could use our home as if it was their own home and would be allowed on furniture and treat it as their own. We can also crate them if you would prefer
“levina and tom are brilliant :) we left our dalmatian bailey with them this week and he had a wonderful day, he came back absolutely knackered - always a great sign! levina has a lovely garden for dogs to play with and as an owner of two germans shepherds, clearly just adores dogs in all shapes and form. thank you 😀”

About: I’m experienced in caring for dogs and other small animals, and I hold a Diploma in Animal Care and Land‑Based Studies. I genuinely enjoy looking after both dogs and cats, and I have my own animals at home, so I understand how important it is to give pets the same level of care, patience and attention they’re used to. I’m reliable, calm and confident with different breeds and personalities, and I take pride in creating a safe, happy environment for every animal I look after. I fit pet care naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I already care for my own animals every day, so feeding, walking, playtime and general supervision are part of my normal schedule. I enjoy planning my week around giving pets consistent attention, keeping them happy, comfortable and well‑looked‑after. I provide a safe, calm, and welcoming home where pets are cared for with patience, routine, and genuine affection. I make sure their environment is clean, comfortable, and hazard‑free, and I always prioritise their wellbeing. Pets in my home are treated with kindness, consistency, and respect, so they feel secure, relaxed, and truly looked after.
About: I’ve had pets since I was young, including hamsters, parrots, cats and dogs. I currently have a beautiful, well trained 2 year old male husky who is neutered I am a registered nurse and currently work from home full time, Monday - Friday. I can manage my own hours as needed, so I’m very flexible every weekday/ weekend. I have my own husky who is very active. Walks can be adjusted to your dogs needs, but our dog walks 6-6:30am, 9-10am, and 8-9pm, and there is access to the garden during the day. About: I’m the girl that waves to dogs I pass in the street, I’m dog mad. I’ve recently returned to the area after living abroad for 6+ years. Personal circumstances mean that I’m not able to have a dog of my own right now, but in the meantime I have so much love to give! I’ve been working part time as a dog-walker and dog-sitter for the past three years on and off and I absolutely love it. I’ll strive to make your dog feel safe, happy and adored. Mark Twain once said “The more I learn about people, the more I love my dog” — let me love your dog!! I currently work from home but I have a very flexible routine. I’m available most days, I just ask that you give me a few days notice if you need my help over the weekends or holidays! I will gladly make house calls. I have clients who trust me with regular access and keys to their properties and I will respect your privacy in your home. I also have the possibility to look after your pet here in my own home. I live with my dad at the moment in a terraced house in Clifton. We don’t have much of a garden but there are plenty of good walks to be had!
“Daniel was our first ever professional dog sitter. We were really impressed by the service offered. We had a great meet and greet initially where we all got to know each other. He put our minds at ease with his passion and skills for looking after dogs. Today we left our dog with Daniel for the first time. Our dog was happy to see Daniel and went straight into the house. He had previously been a very nervous dog. The drop off and pick up went smoothly and you could tell our dog had been well looked after. Daniel communicated throughout the day with texts, photos and videos which put our minds at ease. We would highly recommend Daniel…and will definitely be our first choice for dog sitting moving forward.”

About: My partner and I have had dogs for most of our lives. We now live away from home so are missing the time with our furry friends. We'd love to look after your pets, were athletic, enjoy the outdoors and are very flexible. I (Oliver) work from home, with a flexible working schedule. My partner (Imogen) works part time within the area. We're flexible and we have no dependents. We have a small fenced garden enough for small breaks but we would take dogs out at least twice a day to the local park.
“Amazing experience. Mochi had a wonderful time, and it was clear she formed a lovely bond with Tobias and his partner. She came home happy and content, and after a good sleep it was obvious she'd had a great day.”

After 15 years as a teacher, I recently started my own business working from home. As a DBS-checked professional, I'm organised, reliable and used to caring for others. I'm an active person who enjoys running, football and spending time outdoors, so whether your dog prefers energetic walks or a slower pace, I'll make sure they get the exercise and attention that's right for them. I know every dog is different, which is why I'm always happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know one another, make sure we're the right fit and ensure your dog will feel comfortable and settled in my care. I'll always treat your dog with kindness, patience and respect and you will receive regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they're happy, safe and well looked after. I have the flexibility to plan my day around walks, visits and quality time with the dogs in my care, ensuring they receive plenty of attention and aren't left alone for long periods. I love spending time outdoors, whether that's exploring local parks and countryside or simply enjoying a stroll around the village, so walks are something I genuinely look forward to every day. I can also be flexible to accommodate your dog's usual routine wherever possible. Every dog is different, so I always take the time to get to know their personality, routine and any specific needs before caring for them. About: I have had dogs for 16 years. I have trained my 1 year old puppy from 8 weeks old. I have taken him to championship shows throughout the UK and he attends ringcraft training each week and he has qualified for Crufts for life having won eeaeve beat dog there in 2025. He is also training for hoopers agility every week. This takes a lot of time, effort and training. I have attended the dogs trust training and am a member. I also attend regular webinars. I work from home but some days have to go out and work nationally and there is no regularity to it. On the days I work from home, I can look after your pet. I prefer ad hoc days and short stays only. I work from home and have a secure small garden. When I am working at home I can take care of your pet at my house. I have a small secure fenced garden so your pet would be secure. I have lots of experience so you can be assured your pet is safe. I have to go out once or twice a week for work and my dog goes into day care, but when I am at home I have time to look after your pet. My dog is desperate for a friend! I would carry out a meet / greet to see if your pet would fit in and make friends with mine before going ahead with a booking. Please note my dog is male and in tact, so your pet would need to be spayed.

So can dog walk and can sit at any time during the day/night. Always available. I give them lots of play time, nice long walks, bathroom breaks and of course lots of rest. The house is safe no food is ever left out in reach.

About: Hi! After using Rover for my own dog care in the past I know how important it is to find the right home for your dog. I've had my own dogs for the last 10 years including a puppy and an older rescue. I honestly love dogs of all shapes and sizes and I will ensure I give your dog the perfect home away from home. I have experience with a variety of breeds and have also volunteered and received dogs trust training a couple years ago. I understand dogs are all different and I'm happy to support and match their routines to make them comfortable in my home. I also live in a perfect village area for dogs with plenty of public and private walks and dog friendly cafes! I have plenty of time for walks, toilet breaks and cuddles! I can fit my routine around the routine of the dog in my care, just reach out and let me know what's required. I have a fenced garden with bifold doors that can be left open for easy access to potter outside. I have experience with administering dogs with medication including oral, topical and injections. I also understand and recognise the importance of dog body language -when they are happy, distressed or anxious. Your dogs safety and happiness will always be my main priority.

About: I have shared my life with dogs for over 30 years, and there is rarely a time when I haven't had a furry companion by my side. Because I am at home full-time, your dog will never be left alone. My days revolve around companionship and care, ensuring your pet remains on their preferred schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime. We are lucky enough to live in the countryside, offering a peaceful environment. Whether your dog prefers long walks through the fields or snoozing on a rug by my side, they will find a safe, happy home here. As I am at home full-time, your dog becomes a true member of our family. They will enjoy unlimited playtime, constant snuggles, and the dedicated attention of myself and my two dog-loving children (ages 5 and 8). We are available for boarding 7 days a week, offering a lively, affectionate environment where your pet is never alone. I have a fenced garden so your dog can go in and out as they please. I don't use crates unless specifically requested. Your dog has the freedom of our home and the comfort of our sofa. We take full advantage of our rural location with multiple walks a day through quiet fields and lanes. My children are very respectful of dogs and have been raised to handle them gently.

“Irena is amazing, great communication and my dog loves her so much after just a couple visits! I was really nervous as my dog can be very anxious and scared of strangers but she was patient, understanding and not at all intimidated. Highly recommended!”

About: I've spent over a decade caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments — not just as a sitter, but as a true companion. From high-energy puppies to senior dogs with special needs, I understand their unique care requirements. You'll never wonder how your dog is doing. I provide regular photo updates, check-ins, and stay in close touch so you're always in the loop. Pet care is a meaningful and regular part of my weekly routine. I dedicate time each day for walks, feedings, litter box cleaning, and quality time with the animals I care for. I carefully plan my schedule to ensure I’m fully available for each pet — whether for daily check-ins, overnight stays, or weekend visits. Even with other responsibilities, pet care remains a top priority. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on maintaining their routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. I follow detailed instructions regarding feeding, medications, walk schedules, and any special quirks or preferences. I respect the pet owner’s home, clean up after the pet (litter box, food area, accidents if any), and provide updates with photos or videos. My goal is for the pet to feel safe and relaxed in their own familiar space — and for you to feel confident while you're away.
About: I've grown up with animals, especially dogs. Whether it was my grandparents' German Shepherd or my own Jack Russell, I have an affinity with animals. I'm currently studying part-time and work part-time so there's a bit of flexibility for dog walking but it depends on my shift pattern. I'm an early riser, so morning walks are absolutely fine! I work 3 days a week in Lindley Huddersfield – pet sitting would be suitable if on certain days they can be left alone. Unfortunately I can't care for pets in my own home. Not because I don't want to but it's a rented property in a listed building.
About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs and haven’t been without a dog in my life for since I was 7. I have experience looking after and caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities and energy levels. I have my own gorgeous cockapoo, Coco, who is 6 years old. My life revolves around finding different walks for Coco and I to explore. We love being outside together and make this a priority day to day however I am capable of accommodating to each and every individual dog to ensure they receive the best love and care whilst staying. I pride myself on communication and will keep you up to date so that you know they are in safe hands. I have a secure fenced garden and plenty of downstairs space. I’m happy to accommodate sofa cuddles, zoomie playtimes and enrichment to ensure they have the best time away from home. I have recently left my corporate office job to accommodate dog walking full time, I’m flexible and available throughout the day and evening where required. I have a secure fenced garden with grass and paving and I am able to and have the space for a crate should you pooch require this.
