About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages—from playful puppies full of energy to sweet senior dogs who need a little extra love and patience. I understand the different needs that come with each stage of life, whether it’s helping with house training, keeping up with puppy zoomies, or providing gentle care and companionship for older pups. I always aim to create a calm, safe, and loving environment so every dog feels right at home. I’m home full-time, so your dog will have my full attention throughout the day! Whether they need regular toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles, or a calm presence nearby, I’m here to meet their needs. I’m flexible with routines and can easily adjust to your dog’s schedule to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure, fully fenced garden where pups can play and explore safely under supervision. We’re also lucky to have beautiful woodland walks nearby, perfect for sniff-filled strolls and a bit of outdoor adventure. Inside, my home is calm and dog-friendly—ideal for both energetic pups and those who prefer a cozy nap spot. You can feel confident knowing your dog will be cared for in a safe, loving environment.

Kane provided great day care for Buddy on a super hot day when it was too hot for him to come to the beach with us. Buddy was really calm and happy when we collected him and had been kept nice and cool throughout the day. Thank you Kane, if we are in the area again we will definitely be in touch.

Ziggy had a great day with Amanda, and had fun playing with her dog and Zero who was also staying with her at the time. Amanda kept us fully updated with texts and pictures to let us know how he was getting on. Amanda was also very friendly and personable and gave us some great tips for good beaches in the area for our holiday! Would totally recommend Amanda to anyone else looking for a dog sitter in the area, and would definitely leave Ziggy with her again if we come back to the area in the future!

We ran into Angharad, Henry and Rhodri in Ely one day, and Rufus's reaction to them told us everything we need to know! He obviously adores them, and they him. It's so lovely to know that Rufus is with people he loves so much when we can't be with him.

When Maria opened the door Florence greeted her in the same bouncy exuberant way she would if we returned home or if our closest family visited - this was perfect reassurance how well she is looked after in Maria's care. Maria is someone we've learned is genuine and caring, and we highly recommend her to anyone who might be worried about finding the perfect person to entrust caring for your precious canine friend.

About: I have just said farewell to my 15 year old Springer Spaniel and whilst I am not yet ready for a new companion I would love to look after your dog whilst you're on holiday. I recently retired and so available to take care of your dog all day, every day. I am used to walking 5+ miles a day and your pet will get at least 3 walks per day (if required/heat permits) and will be rarely left alone (if Sitting/boarding/day care). I have a fenced garden at the bottom of a quiet cul de sac, and live nearby a large orchard for safe (on lead) walks. Crate and dog bed available and covers on furniture if cuddles are required. I can accommodate 2 dogs from the same family at my home. I will decline bookings if we already have a dog with me.

First time customer of Tracey and first sleepover for Beni, my pup. Such a positive experience. As soon as you walk into Traceys she welcomed me and Beni into her home, reassuring me that Beni’s in good hands. Tracey sent pictures throughout the day, showing that Beni was fine and having fun. When it came to collection time Tracey told me about his night, and what he got up to the day before. Beni was as happily bouncing around, showing affection. Already booking for the next sleepover. Highly recommend. Such a lovely woman 💕

So happy to have found Katie and her dog Kali, lots of pictures and some videos of my dog having lovely playtime. She was totally at home with her new sitter Katie, she is so professional and organised, I always feel concerned leaving my very lively dog with a new person, Katie is very capable and knowledgeable around nervous behaviours as her own dog shares a similar temperament to mine. So I will be going to Katie as my first choice from now on. 🤩X

Pedro was amazing with my Weimaraner puppy, Saffie. Saffie is quite a whirlwind and requires a lot of physical and mental stimulation. It was very clear that Pedro met all of her needs and she came home very happy. I contacted Pedro extremely last minute to see if he could have Saffie for the first time the following day. He responded swiftly and was really very helpful throughout. I really appreciated receiving video updates and it was clear how caring, knowledgeable and attentive Pedro is with all dogs. I would absolutely have no hesitation in booking Pedro again and he even offered me some really useful training advice. Thank you Pedro for all your help.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in West Norfolk on Rover is £21.28 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 234 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in West Norfolk. About 88% of West Norfolk sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your West Norfolk commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
