“Rebecca made me feel so at ease from the very beginning - it being my first booking on Rover. She kept me informed and updated throughout the sit and I was sent loads of pics showing just how relaxed Tommy was in her care. I booked her again that same week! Will definitely use again and am so glad I found someone I can trust.”

“Our chow chow Paddy had a lovely relaxing getaway at Sarah’s when we had to spend the night away. Great communication, regular updates. Would definitely recommend Thanks Sarah”

About: I am new to Rover however, as a Dachshund owner myself and having had and looked after dogs my whole life, I will provide your pet a safe, warm and loving home whilst you are away. I only accept one Dachshund at a time. I will only have one Dachshund at a time so your pet will have my full care and attention alongside my own pet. I provide day boarding or cover for holidays. I have one miniature Dachshund called Rosie so your pet will always have a gentle play mate to have fun with. I will always try to match your home routine eg breakfast time, length of walks, favourite treats etc so that your sausage will settle and feel at home. I am within a mile of a reputable vet if any medication is needed. A meet and greet is welcomed before you decide to commit to a booking with me. I have a secure fenced large garden and plenty of beautiful countryside on hand if your pet would like additional walks. My house is single storey and there are no areas that your pet is not welcome…even on the couch! I have plenty of toys and bedding but I’m happy for you to bring along whatever you need for your pet to make them feel at home. If required I send pictures and updates whilst you are away so you can relax and enjoy yourself knowing that your pet is having a wonderful time too!!

“Once again, we were delighted with Sarah's care of our dog, Ziggy, who is quite nervous. Sarah provides a calm and loving home from home and Ziggy returns to us having had a wonderful time with cuddles and walks. Thank you, Sarah! Jane.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and owner of a big, very lovable Labrador, so I know just how much our dogs are part of the family. I’m confident with larger dogs, enthusiastic walkers and those who are particularly enthusiastic about food! I’m calm, sensible and reliable, and very happy getting out for a proper walk rather than simply doing a quick lap around the block. Most importantly, I know how much trust is involved in leaving your dog with somebody else. I’ll look after your dog as I’d want someone to look after mine, with plenty of attention, affection and reassurance, and I’m always happy to keep you updated while they’re with me. I have two cats so any dog coming to stay needs to be on good terms with cats and does not chew furniture! I work from home, so dogs can fit very naturally into my day. They’ll have company throughout the day, access to the garden and a proper lunchtime walk, usually in one of the two parks close to my home. My own Labrador is always around too, so there’s plenty of opportunity for play, company and snoozing afterwards. I have a safe, fully fenced grassed garden and a friendly five-year-old Labrador who loves having company. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home and will be treated as part of the family while they’re here. I’ll follow your usual routines around feeding, walks and rest, and I’m very happy to accommodate individual needs. I would always want our dogs to meet first to make sure they’re comfortable together before their first stay.
“Jasper had a really great stay with Jamie! Can really tell they’re dog lovers, they kept me updated with videos and pictures & Jasper looked like he had an absolute ball with George! I had a very happy & tired dog. Would absolutely recommend, thank you again! 🐾”

“Ana made sure Roxy had a holiday of her own! I received so many beautiful photos and felt so happy knowing she was taken care of so well. Would definitely use Ana again.”

“Liam is a wonderful dog sitter, considerate and thoughtful, sending lots of updates. We feel very lucky to have found somebody who cares for our dog and we trust implicitly”

“Absolutely wonderful! Anya is a true dog lover, and made Olga feel right at home. I got regular updates and photographs of Olga out and about, snuggling in Anya’s bed, and huddled together on the couch with the family. Would recommend 100%, and will definitely be sending Olga there again”

“Karolina was everything we could wish for in a dog sitter! She was very attentive to all we had to say to care for our dog, and asked all the right questions too. Plenty of daily updates were provided and the communication was great, will definitely be using Karolina when we need help again!”

“Joanna and her bf were wonderful hosts and super lovely. They have an adorable dachshund that’s close to Cosmo’s age too. We met for a play date 2 days earlier to introduce them to one another and it went well. Joanna was also knowledgeable in general Spitz behaviour which made me more comfortable. Cosmo has separation anxiety but she kept him company whilst ensuring she gave him his space when he wanted it. She kept me up to date, sent me photos, and was responsive. Glad Cosmo made new friends and will definitely visit again! 😊”

“Thank you Igor, Alla and Bruno for taking care of Winnie! Now when we go walking with Winnie and bypass the street where Igor lives, Winnie wants to turn to his house, which is a sign she had good time there and wants to comeback one day.”

“I was quite apprehensive to leave Winnie with anyone other than friends or family as she tends to be a little nervous, But Lucy put me at ease straight away. Her communication and updates were amazing, and I knew Winnie was being so lovingly cared for while I was away for work. A true 5-star doggie holiday! I’d absolutely recommend Lucy to anyone looking for a calm, home-from-home experience for their pup 🐾💛”

“I couldn’t have asked for more! Julie was incredible and Poppy adored her. I got regular updates and photos and felt confident that my little girl was being well cared for while I was gone. Would recommend Julie to anyone and will definitely be rebooking with her in the future. Thanks again Julie xx”

“Lauren was fabulous. I needed someone in an emergency. She took Dixie while I was in hospital. Dixie got spoiled rotten. I would take her back to Lauren in a heartbeat. 💗”

We have a big detached house with a secure garden. Our friends all have dogs and regularly call on us to dog sit. We are both mainly retired so have plenty of time on our hands to look after a dog (our adult kids are also dog lovers and would probably come home just to help out. We don’t really have a fixed routine so can provide flexibility if we are around. We are however on holiday a lot so can’t always be always be available. We have a big detached house with a secure garden. If you have a crate you are welcome to provide this alternatively we can throw down a dog bed in a choice of rooms. We have a footpath right outside our front door leading to many adventures.
“Would highly recommend Bryony and Matt. They had Milo for a long weekend and I felt so at ease and comfortable, they treat Milo like he’s their own and kept me updated. Milo gets very excited to them. Thank you x”

“Chrissie is absolutely wonderful. Rolo stayed with Chrissie for the first time for 3 nights this week and he obviously had a wonderful time. I got lots of pics of him out on his walks and at home with the family and snoozing peacefully. He returned home very happy and relaxed and straight into his normal routine. Huge thanks!”

“Ruby & Steve looked after my massive mastiff for a long weekend. He tells me that he had a great time, and can’t wait to go back! I also had a great time, as there were plenty of comms and pics to stop me from worrying.”

About: I’ve always lived with cats, they’re definitely my spirit animals 😻 I have a lovely fluffy ginger cat called Milo, who I absolutely adore. I always make sure he has someone he knows and trusts to look after him when I’m away, and over the years I’ve also helped neighbours and friends with their cats (and occasionally dogs). Given how much I love cats, and with my two non-fluffy babies getting a little older, I now have more time to help other people look after their beloved pets. I’m happy to do home visits to feed, cuddle, stroke and play with your cat, and of course give them as much fuss (or as little) as they’re comfortable with. I’m also happy to follow their usual routine and send updates and photos while you’re away. I’m very happy to meet beforehand, I know it’s a big decision to entrust someone with your pet, and I want you to feel completely comfortable. Feel free to ask me any questions! 🐾
“Emma is simply fabulous. She looked after Clive and Oscar, my cats, for 5 days giving me daily updates and answering my texts promptly. I came home to a spotless home and two relaxed kitties.”

“We definitely came home to very happy cats! Sarah gave them lots of love and kept their routine going by arriving the same time daily & playing with them. . I had daily updates which was very reassuring as this was the first time we have left the cats. We are more than happy ! ”

About: Having worked in a vets for many years, and having grown up around dogs, Matt and I are a safe pair of hands. Most recently, we lived with my flatmates husky, and therefore spent alot of time walking, socialising and looking after him. Matt and I both work full time, but generally 3-4 days from home. We love walking, and would love to add your dog into our routine. We would be looking for a dog in the Tonbridge area. We have a fenced garden with side access, and also plenty of space inside for the dog to make the house their home. We can also easily seal off rooms if required.

“Weslie was amazing. We are so grateful for how much care she gave to our cats. Weslie took lots of pictures everyday, sent messages and kept us updated. Weslie gave our cats lots of care and attention and played with them. Would highly recommend ”

“Cheryl did a wondeful job with our two girls, she played with them, fed and watered them ensuring that they were well cared for. She was easy to communicate with and replied to messages quickly. We received regular updates about our girls, including pictures. Would definitely recommend for catsitting. Thank you Cheryl :-) ”

About: What started as simple passion has grown into several years of dedicated dog care, during which I’ve worked with many different pups—each with their own personality and needs. I’m also a proud rescuer of a dog who wasn’t given much of a chance, and that journey taught me even more about patience, trust, and how the right approach can completely change a dog’s life. I truly believe there are no bad dogs. As a home educator, caring for dogs fits perfectly into our lifestyle. My 14-year-old daughter is very much on board, and together we give each dog plenty of attention, love, and gentle structure throughout the day. Your dog will never be left feeling bored, anxious, or ignored—they become part of our little family. When you’re away, we provide cuddles, calm reassurance, playtime, fun walks, and all the one-on-one care your pup needs to feel safe, happy, and content. With us, your dog is in devoted, loving hands and will be wagging with joy until you return! 🐶💛 Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. As a passionate dog lover, I make sure each dog in my care gets everything they need—three walks a day, plenty of cuddles, playtime, and lots of attention. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved throughout their stay. Safety and trust are at the heart of everything I do. If your dog is closely bonded with you and might try to escape, I kindly ask that they wear a tracker—just as a precaution. Dogs are incredibly clever, and while I always provide a secure and calm environment, it’s important to be one step ahead. We spend our days surrounded by nature—fields, woods, and meadows—far from traffic and noise. I'm not a town girl; I believe the countryside offers the perfect setting for dogs to roam, sniff, and feel at peace. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority.
About: Welcome! I am an experienced dog walker, sitter and boarder. I have looked after dogs with a range of needs including medical and nutritional. I have a back garden and access to two large parks in the area. I am caring, patient and professional. Speak soon! I am available most days and only work a couple of evenings a week. My husband works from home - so in the event I am at work, he is able to look after the animals also. He is experienced in pet sitting too and you will be able to meet him in a meet and greet. I treat them like a family member and I am intuitive to their needs. I will make sure they have lots of stimulation, affection (if wanted!), time to relax and exercise.
“I booked a 2-day doggy day care for our pug, Cleo, and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Isis was absolutely lovely – really friendly, super flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, and clearly a big dog lover. Cleo looked completely relaxed in all the updates we got. They sent through some really nice pictures too – it was great to see her looking happy and chilled ie asleep and snoring. Would definitely book again. Thanks”

About: My partner and I grew up with dogs, cats and other pets and I have had animals around all my life. We are trusted by friends, family and Rover contacts to care for their pets covering a wide range of personalities, routines, and needs. Our experience includes all aspects of care such as feeding, grooming, administering medications, exercising, and providing calm support through illness or recovery and I am passionate about the wellbeing of the animal. We recently had to say goodbye to our own gorgeous dog who had a chronic heart condition. This meant regular medications and close monitoring as well as ensuring she remained physically and mentally stimulated without causing strain. I’m patient, observant, and reliable, and take time to understand each pet’s individual routine so they feel safe, settled, and well cared for. Whilst we are not ready to commit to another dog of our own we enjoy welcoming and reassuringly caring for your furry companion. I work from home most days, so I’m around throughout the day to provide company, care, and walks tailored to each pet’s energy level and needs. To ensure pets aren’t left alone for extended periods, I don’t accept bookings on days when I’m required to be in the office unless we can agree a drop-in whilst I am out. On available weekends, I offer boarding in a calm, home-from-home environment. My calendar shows when I’m generally available, but please feel free to get in touch if a date appears unavailable — there may be some flexibility. We have a private garden for regular toilet breaks. Although this is not fenced off we would make sure your fur-baby is safe. We also have several walks nearby. If allowed in your home, we are comfortable to have pets on the furniture.

About: I’m a nurse by profession and a gentle soul at heart. Cats have always held a special place in my life — their affectionate, cuddly nature brings so much warmth to a home. My family and I have a British Shorthair who’s been with us for three years now, and every day he becomes more affectionate and expressive. It’s amazing how he seems to understand us — the way he looks at us, the way he communicates — it’s a bond that melts my heart. Caring for him has taught me how deeply cats connect with us when they’re loved and understood. I work three long days a week as a nurse, but I plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets receive the care and attention they need. On my working days, I can fit visits or walks in before and after work, and if needed, I can also work around my breaks. On my days off, I have much more flexibility to dedicate quality time to your pet. I’m committed to maintaining your pet’s routine as closely as possible, ensuring they receive plenty of care, exercise, companionship, and affection, even around my work schedule. When caring for your pet in your home, I aim to keep their routine as normal as possible. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special care they require. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, giving them plenty of attention, companionship, and affection. I’ll also treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean and tidy and ensuring your pet’s environment remains calm and familiar. To give you peace of mind, I’ll send regular updates and photos so you know your furry family member is happy and well cared for.

Sadly, they passed away a few years ago, but I also gained valuable experience caring for them in their senior years. I am attentive to each pet’s individual needs and routines, and I always aim to provide a calm, safe, and comfortable environment while they are in my care. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am currently working from home to run an online business all day, so I can be quite flexible with looking after your pets. My dog, Simba, is very friendly to other dogs as well. He can be a bit barky, but he is very playful. I live in rural areas and have a fully fenced garden. My dog can keep your pet good company. I also have crates if needed.
“Nathan is super duper! Made whole process so easy. Quick at replying and coming over to meet our dog. Walks commenced the next day. And Red seems to love him and their walks. We get photo updates which is very sweet and you can see he is only lovely walks round the local woodland. Very happy and so is Red!”

“Luke left us feeling very calm and listened to what we wanted from him. Keeping us updated throughout and left to enjoy out holiday with no added stress. Will definitely use him again”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 20 years having had a dog growing up and now owning one myself. I’m experienced in feeding, walking and generally caring for different kinds of dog. It’s important to me that dogs get the exercise and company that they need. I mostly have weekends and evenings available for drop in visits for both dogs, cats and other small animals in and around Hildenborough. I can also take dogs out on walks. I will come to your home to care for your pets so that they are in an environment that’s familiar to them and if it’s for a dog walk I will walk them near to your home.

“Lauren was fabulous. I needed someone in an emergency. She took Dixie while I was in hospital. Dixie got spoiled rotten. I would take her back to Lauren in a heartbeat. 💗”

About: We are a semi retired couple and our beloved black Labrador left us a few years ago. We love dogs and have the time to provide a temporary home - all dogs welcome.

“Ruby & Steve looked after my massive mastiff for a long weekend. He tells me that he had a great time, and can’t wait to go back! I also had a great time, as there were plenty of comms and pics to stop me from worrying.”

“Monty was very happy at Stephen’s . He ate and slept well and was mad a fuss of. He also had a great time playing with Stephen’s dog Europa . We will definitely use Stephen again .”

About: I am confident with dogs, as I’ve grown up with small dogs and then Weimaraners and now I am often with my partner’s Working Cocker Spaniel with and without my children. I did used to help care for a Pointer a few years ago on Borrow My Doggy whilst the owner worked a couple of days a week. I would walk the dog and then the dog would come back with me for some company. Not sure how many years to put as ‘years of experience.’ With borrow my doggy I would say a year and longer with a family Dog and now my partner’s dog. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work around my family commitments, meaning I can offer dog walking, day care and overnight stays during both weekdays and weekends. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I make sure every pet receives plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection and one-to-one attention while they’re with me. I am based between Wotton, Surrey and Sevenoaks. In Wotton there is a large fenced grass garden and our friendly female Working Cocker Spaniel lives here. In Sevenoaks - there is a small paved garden that is fenced.

“Thaisa was absolutely amazing with our puppy. We had pictures and messages letting us know how and what she had been up to. Absolutely amazing, if we need dog sitting again we would definitely try and send her to Thaisa”

“Bailey was looked after so well whilst we were away. It was so nice getting regular photo updates, and we could see he really settled in very quickly and felt at home. He even got a bath and brush and came home smelling wonderful 🥰 Will definitely look to rebook Miriam when we are next away.”

“Rheid looked after my dog, Kiko, for the day and was absolutely brilliant. Rheid was friendly, reliable and clearly very caring. Kiko took a shine to her immediately. Kiko was happy, relaxed and well looked after. Receiving photos of their adventures gave me real peace of mind. I would happily recommend Rheid to anyone looking for kind and trustworthy dog care, and I’d definitely use her again.”
