“What can I say. It was the perfect introduction to Rover for Muffin and me. Kathy was home from home. She has an amazing knowledge of dog behaviour and fully understood muffins need from the start. Obviously Muffin was very excited to see me but Kathy’s two knew he was going and Mufhin will miss them. If I could give 10 stars to Kathy’s care I would. I could not have dreamed of a carer who was so taken with muffin as I am. I can’t thank her enough.”

“We met up with Chris in advance and instantly felt at home with him. He’s very kind and loving with our elderly Italian Spinone, Elmo. We’ve booked to use him again and would have no hesitation in recommending Chris’s services. Thank you Chris”

“We can’t thank Katie enough. We went on Rover to look for a dog sitter for our 8 month old puppy and found Katie. We went for a meet and greet and then Buster went to stay for the day. He had the best time and we were so relaxed and happy knowing he was well cared for. We got lots of updates throughout the day. So lovely to find someone you trust with your precious animal. Thanks again Katie”

“I can not recommend Lynne and her husband Lee enough. We went for a visit pre booking and found them to be friendly and relaxed and was immediately put at ease. Dudley, our dog, was happy with them and when we arrived to drop him for his holiday, jumped out of the car and went straight to their door. We had a relaxed holiday knowing we didn’t have to worry about him and that he was happy in their company and relaxed. We got regular photo updates. We were extremely grateful for their flexibility when our flight got delayed. Nothing was too much trouble and he really was well looked after. Not sure Dudley even wanted to come home with us as he misses all the attention. Can’t Thank you enough Lynne - Until the next time.”

“Sarah and her family looked after our two 'Kids while we had a couple of days away. She kept me updated on them and they were as right as rain when went to collect. I would highly recommend and we will be using them again. With total confidence.”

“This was a last minute booking and Joanna made us feel extremely confident and comfortable leaving miso with her. Miso looked like she had the best time with the constant updates! Will be using every single time now!”

“Sam looked after Leia when I needed to suddenly travel abroad for a few days. She completely understood how stressful it was to leave my dog behind, so sent a few pictures and updates, at the same time respecting the difficult time I was going through, and giving me space which was what I needed on so many levels. Leia had a great time at Sam's, which was easy to see when I came to pick her up. She kept going back to Sam and her husband for more cuddles and belly rubs, which speaks volumes about care she received. Sam will be my 'go to' dog sitter from now on, and I hope she'll have space to look after Leia next time I'm away. Thank you, Sam, for your support!”

“Tina obviously loves dogs and our dog was very happy and relaxed to stay with her. Tina uses a very large field which is completely safe for dogs to run freely with water play etc. I would highly recommend her to lovingly care for your dog.”

“Wendy has been absolutely amazing. It was the first time she took care of Pixie and she kept me updated with messages and photos. Pixie had a great time and looked very settled when I picked her up. I highly recommend Wendy, she loves animals and takes care of them like they were her own.”

“Chelsea looked after both Rod and Dexter, who can be proper drama queens. They were comfortable with her really quickly and made themselves at home. She kept me up to date the whole time, with pictures and I'm very certain the boys would love to return when they get the chance. Couldn't recommend Chelsea enough ♥️ thank you xx”

“Although our mini poodle Teddy and Gemma's dog did not get on too well (unusually for both dogs I think), she was very caring towards Teddy and communicated/updated us on how he was getting on. If it wasn't for the issue we had between the dogs, we would have no hesitation leaving Teddy with Gemma again. Thanks!”

“We can’t recommend Maddie enough! We have a reactive rescue dog who is very wary of strangers, so finding the right sitter has been really important to us. Maddie has been incredibly calm, patient and understanding from the very first meeting. She took everything at Remy’s pace, and thanks to her gentle approach, he’s already gone from barking at a stranger to happily taking treats, sitting next to her on the sofa and enjoying strokes. She’s kind, reliable and clearly has a real understanding of dogs. We’re so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter!”

“Daisy is a delightful young lady. She was confident and my cat Monkeyfeet took to her immediately at the meet and greet. She followed my instructions to the letter and played with Monkeyfeet during her visits, sending lovely photos. I would highly recommend Daisy to look after your pet.”

“Tina clearly loves and cares for the dogs in her care. As an older dog of 11 years, who had only been looked after by family we were a bit apprehensive leaving ours but we needn’t have worried. Tina kept us up to date with pictures and our dog clearly enjoyed himself. We will definitely use many times more.”

Thank you Kathy.”

“Heather was very professional & has a caring approach. She enabled us to attend a family funeral 275 miles away from home looking after our dog Daisy who has separation anxiety. Although clearly happy to see us on collection after spending the day with Heather you could tell Daisy had had a good day & wasn’t stressed. Thanks Heather:”

Had a range of sizes and breeds between us including border terriers, staffies, as well dogs who have ‘a bit of everything’. Frequent availability, ability to work from home meaning constant care and attention throughout the day 🐶. Nice sized garden, quiet cul-de-sac, and only a short walk from Southfields park. My work schedule allows me to have multiple days off a week, sometimes whole weeks at a time. My partner works from home four days a week as well. Plenty of availability to look after dogs 🦮 I have a fenced garden, plenty of space indoors and outdoors to run and play, or to chill out in. We’re both active walkers, happy to drive further for better walks if you dog prefers! Have treats and toys already at home 🦴
“As a first time user of Rover, I was nervous to leave My 8 month old Shihpoo. Hannah took time to speak to me in advance of looking after my puppy and asked all the right questions. Whilst looking after Spencer, Hannah was so helpful and sent me regular updates and took time to debrief me after his visits. I’d definitely use Hannah again and would recommend her to other dog owners. She’s extremely kind, caring, experienced and understands what Spencer needed. Great job, we’ll done”

About: Hi! I’m a 19-year-old university student home for the holidays and looking to earn some extra money doing something I genuinely love caring for animals. I’ve grown up surrounded by pets and currently have a dog, two tortoises, and a much-loved cat who has been part of my family for 16 years and still sleeps on my bed every night without fail! I’m reliable, caring, and understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and well looked after while you’re away. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, walks, feeding, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Currently, I work part-time in a bakery where my hours are posted the Sunday before the commencing week this means that I am more than happy to do help you any time on a weekend or anytime that i’m not scheduled to work during week days! As I said, I don’t know definitely which days I’ll be scheduled but it’s usually only 6-8 hours a day 3x a week so will have time mornings and evenings outside of work. I have a fenced garden aswell as 1 small friendly dog who gets along with everyone and everything. I also have 2 tortoises who are kept in a cage
About: Caring friendly nature that even nervous pets warm to which I allow at their pace, confident around Dogs especially afore mentioned. Initial introduction is my speciality as was proven when visiting friends in the North East that have 2 x reactive rescue dogs within 10-15 minutes managed to gain the trust of both dogs and had a faboulous long weekend with my new fury family Due to my work with sepecial education I find myself free during school holidays and I appreciate how some familys find it hard to move the Fur Babbies into strange enviroments especially without the usual rountines or family away on holiday My speciality is looking after pets and house sitting which seems to be getting more and more difficult for families that really require this specialist service I have offered this service for friends and family for many years, when I Iooked to live in France permanantly and set up a business I have provided this service and had great feedback Unfortunatly due to personal cicumstances and Brexit I have returned to live in the UK I only offer this service During School Holidays when i am not working myself, when looking after Pets / Homes this gets my full priority I like keeping fit by walking so a win win Looking after your pets in your home is a privelage as I do not have pets myself due to my work in special education & only able to look after pets in school holidays. I believe that this causes families with pets extra anxiety when the school holidays come around as not all staycation accomadation take pets, with new regulations travelling to europe with Dogs has also become so much harder since Brexit. Some people find it hard relaxing whilst on holiday not only about their pets but also security in the home My good friends always say they can relax on holiday when I look after there pets and their house which gives me a great feeling that I am helping people to get some much needed relaxation that normally would struggle to get away I am well travelled and I like to visit different places gaining new adventures which helps me to relax, I also pride myself on being organised and looking after the family home when people are away as well as the pets, fully capable of dealing with any of those unexpected life challenges that come along

About: Hi there , my name is Pippa , and i live in Elmer Sands , Bognor Regis. I have my own cat and a labrdor called lily who's aged 7 I've previously had a girl tabby cat who I had till age 15. My boy cat jake is 12 and was a stray who I've homed. So I'm used to nervous animals , although it took time for him to adapt after his family left him behind by mistake. I love animals and through doing many years helping people with homehelp , cleaning and help with pets , I've gained experience in my clients homes. I've recently helped a elderly neighbour adopt a cat from siddlesham rescue, and am currently helping her to get her rescue girl outside in the garden. I've walked dogs for clients I've cleaned for , and pet sat whilst they are away on holiday. I can supply references if needed. Hope this helpful. Feel free to ask me any concerns or questions you may have. Littlepip x 🐾 I have one home help job locally right now. I have a partner who's a retired builder. So I'm fairly available to sit. I have a fenced garden in a bungalow in elmer sands. I'm quite happy to sit in your home and pets environment if better for you though. Otherwise if dog friendly my labrador lily is usually home. My stray boy cat jake slopes off , and is used to our labrador. I'm happy to pop over and walk your dog , feed, water. I'd rather not help with medications. Yet don't mind a flea and worm pill in food if required. I can cat sit or pop in to feed / give water and fuss in your own home environment if preffered.
“Jess was great, she met us at the gates of Arundel Castle and took care of Ozzie walking him and such around the town, until we returned a couple of hours later. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jess to other dog owners.”

About: Hello, I'm Becky. I have always loved animals and my childhood was filled with Jack Russell Terrier's, cats and chickens. Although I don't have my own pets at the moment due to work commitments, I hope to change that soon! As much as I want the dogs to be rehomed as quickly as possible, I love building a caring bond with the the dogs I see regularly. I am a confident walker who can provide long and fast passed walks if a dog requires. I always take note of any behavioural issues or health needs a dog may have and provide love, care and attention so the dog can have the best walk possible. I'm a volunteer dog walker for the Cinnamon Trust. I have walked many dogs for those who are unable to walk their dog due to old age or health conditions. I have often looked after family member's dogs in their home, providing dog walks, meals, and love, care and attention. I'm currently working part time and have plenty of availability on Mondays and Fridays for dog walks and home visits. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights I'm also available for pet sitting in your own home. I communicate clearly to arrange appointments, and I'm always punctual to visits. I follow the health and safety needs for your pet and provide the best possible care. I am First Aid and CPR trained via the New Skills Academy. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and currently help care for our 3 family dogs and 1 cat, all with different breeds, ages, and personalities. I also look after family members’ and friends’ pets, one being a rescue dog. I am confident, caring, reliable, and very comfortable around animals. I always follow instructions carefully and make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I have a fairly flexible schedule which allows me to dedicate time and attention to pet sitting. I have my own car, so I’m able to travel easily and reliably for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I’m also happy to stay overnight in your home to help pets feel comfortable and keep their routine as normal as possible. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home by keeping to their usual routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow instructions from owners regarding feeding, walks, house rules, and any specific needs or behaviours. I keep the home clean and tidy and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care while their owners are away. I understand how important trust is when caring for both pets and someone’s home, and I always treat both with respect and responsibility.
“Mia was amazing! Benji had only ever been with family before on walks and wasn't sure what he would be like, however Mia sent me photos and he had an amazing time. Came back tired which to me Is goal achieved!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember! Growing up, my family had two Jack Russells and a German Shepherd, and now my immediate family has two Cockapoos - completely crazy, full of personality, but absolutely amazing. Having experience with a wide variety of breeds (and energy levels!), plus two years on Rover caring for lots of different dogs, I’ve learned that every pup is unique. I understand what dogs need, whether that’s extra cuddles, structured routines, or plenty of playtime, and I always pay close attention to the little details. My goal is to give every dog a loving, comfortable “home away from home” experience where they feel safe, happy, and spoiled (in the best way!). I work from the office Monday through Wednesday and from home on Thursdays and Fridays. During the days I am in the office, my partner is at home to ensure your pet continues to receive attentive care and companionship throughout the day! I aim to provide a safe, welcoming, and calm environment for every dog in my care, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and truly included as part of the household. Whether I’m looking after a dog for a single day or for several weeks, I focus on maintaining familiar routines, offering plenty of affection, and creating a relaxed “home away from home” experience so each dog can settle in with confidence and ease.

“Tasha accepted our booking on the same day after our dog sitter cancelled last minute. We received loads of photos and updates during Dobby's stay, and he seemed to have a great time. Thank you Tasha!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs of all kinds for just over two years now. Every dog has its own personality and I take pride in making sure these personalities are understood, so that I can build a genuine connection with them. There's nothing more rewarding then clicking with these amazing animals. I currently work during the day, so taking care of your pets will be a late afternoon service. Weekends can be an all day service. I live in a flat with two other people who are animal lovers too. If there's anything that the client knows the dog likes to get their teeth on then I'll make sure that's cleared away. There will always be water available. And whatever the dogs schedule, I will adhere to that to insure routine is upheld.

About: I've always been trusted to care for family pets, whether for overnight stays or daily walks, and I've loved every minute of it. I've also looked after pets for neighbours and family friends, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I love attending training classes with my own dog, Bruce, and have picked up a few fun tricks and training techniques along the way that I can practise with your pup too! I’m currently back from university over the summer and only working part time so i have plenty of time to look after and play with any dogs! My schedule is very flexible to fit your needs. I have a fenced garden and a very energetic dog, Bruce, who will love the company. I am very attentive and will make sure your dog has everything they need
“Amelia took amazing care of my 7 month old puppy, who has separation anxiety. She was attentive and made sure he felt safe and comfortable in her home. I was sent regular updates throughout his stay. I couldn’t have asked for better care, and I’d highly recommend Amelia!”

About: I’ve owned a dog for the last 18 years. I grew up with a lively male Labrador cross named Lord, who was reactive with both people and other dogs, so I have experience managing reactive behaviour safely and calmly. After his heartbreaking passing, I welcomed two wonderful female Border Collies, Lucky and Hazel. They’re energetic, friendly with people and other dogs, and very well socialised. As a long‑time dog owner, I know how stressful, expensive, and difficult it can be to find someone you trust to care for your dog, so I’m always happy to help where I can. While I don’t work from home, my mother is home with the dogs during the day, so we can offer a safe and supervised environment for another dog, provided they are friendly and comfortable around my two collies. I hope they’ll all enjoy spending time together.
About: With several years of experience caring for puppies, kittens, horses, and reptiles, I offer expert, compassionate care tailored to each animal’s unique needs and personality. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my weekly routine as a student midwife. I get yearly timetables and I dedicate time each week for walks, feeding, and check-ins, ensuring consistent, dependable care. In my home, pets become part of the family—lots of love, walks, and cozy spots to rest. Secured garden and run of our home. In your home, I provide gentle, reliable care that keeps their routine steady and stress-free.
