About: Myself and my partner Tomek work in theatre and during time off we love to work with dogs. We have recently moved to the Leighton Buzzard area and I’m taking some time off theatre so I’m very free and flexible. If you chose me to look after your dog it’ll be getting all of my attention throughout our time together! During the height of the pandemic I trained and worked in a small dog grooming salon and Tomek took on dog walking duties, later working as a daycare supervisor at Bruce’s Doggy Day Care. Before joining Rover we have been offering dog sitting/waking services to many people in the village where I grew up. Through this we have gained experience in looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes, from a little old yorkie terrier to 3 young french spaniels. I have also grown up always having cats so have a lot of experience furry felines too. I am freelance and currently have a quiet period before my next theatre project so I am very flexible and can cater to your needs. If you choose me to look after your dog, it’ll get 100% of my attention. I have qualified as a dog trainer from the National Dog Training Acadamy which has given me a great understanding of how to work with dogs. Coupled with my year as a dog groomer's assistant I have a well rounded skillset that will enable me to provide your pet with the best care.

About: I am easygoing, but not at all a pushover. I like to think I have a firm but gentle touch, and have a good degree of empathy. Having worked with animals - from horses to cats to dogs to chickens! - my experiences of their psychology have stood me in good stead when making new four- (and two!) legged acquaintances.
 I've always thought dogs to be some of the best judges of character and human nature, and honestly, you just can't hide your own true self from their animal instincts. They see, they know and they will make up their own mind about you whether you like it or not! As for cats, well, they are an enigma wrapped in a mystery drowning in a tub of Dreamies. Would we change them? Never!
 So all I can say is, if I meet your dog/cat/chicken and they give their paw/claw of approval, what better endorsement is there? Dog walking, cat sitting and general animal care if my full time business, and I make myself available most weekends. I have no problem with short notice bookings and take extra care to always heed to concerns and needs of my clients. I don’t board dogs or cats at my own residence as this would be too stressful for my own cat boss, but am happy to housesit if available to do so. This has always proved to be a more agreeable arrangement as there is no place like home for a dog or cat who are as much a member of the family as any other relative!

“Jane provided a house visit service for us. She popped in twice a day, to check on our dog Caesar, who adores her. I was quite worried before booking as sometimes it does take Caesar a while to warm up to people. However, straight away he got along with Jane, and really enjoys the pop in visits! Jane also updated us by sending us pictures and videos of our doggo. Great to see how comfortable he is with the visits!”

About: Hi, I'm Tayla – a proud Crazy Cat Lady and lifelong animal lover! I live in Leighton Buzzard with my partner and our 10 cats, but my love for animals extends far beyond felines. Not owning dogs myself means I love when I get to spend time with yours! I have over 10 years of experience house sitting and caring for other people's pets, and over 15 years of experience rescuing and rehabilitating neglected cats. Whether your pet needs feeding, walks, playtime, medication, cuddles, or simply a reassuring presence while you're away, I'll treat them with the same love and care I give my own animals. This means I work for myself and it is easy to move around and adjust to any pet care needs if neccessary. About: Having rescued lots of dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits and also a tortoise over the years I have a great love for all our furry friends. Experienced dog handler, cat sitter and happy to administer meds. DBS checked, full liabilty and pet first aid certificate. Happy to help with all the familys furry, feathered and scaly friends while I'm at the home too. The original Dr Doolittle is here! I just adore all animals, my dream is to open a rescue abroad and care for all the waifs and strays. Currently work Part time for the NHS and spend my afternoons and evenings caring for my animals and other peoples. Am available at weekends also and bank hols. I will even water the plants, put the bins out, open and close curtains. Safety is everything to me and keeping the pets happy and content.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have always enjoyed caring for them. I’m comfortable looking after dogs, cats, and smaller pets such as rabbits and hamsters, and I’m happy to follow whatever routine works best for your pet. I work full-time during the week, so my availability is mainly before 8am, around lunchtime, and after 5pm. I can be flexible around lunchtime depending on what your pet needs, and I have much more flexibility on weekends. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send regular updates and photos while you’re away. I know every pet is different, so I’m always happy to discuss their routine and what they need. I work full time so am available before and after work (8am and after 5pm) as well as a lunchtime visit. Weekends i am more flexible Happy to follow each individual pets needs, and will give updates to you after the visit along with regular pictures. About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember! I was the neighbourhood dog walker from a young age, and looking after dogs has been a big part of my life ever since. I had my own dog, Buddy, for 13 wonderful years, so I know how much trust is involved in leaving your dog in someone else’s care. I’m not currently looking to have my own dog because I really enjoy travelling and having the flexibility to explore when I can, but I absolutely miss having a dog around. Dog sitting gives me the perfect opportunity to spend time with dogs while giving owners some extra support!😊 I work from home, so I have lots of flexibility during the day and can give dogs plenty of company, attention and fuss. I have a house with a secure garden, a car and love getting out for walks and adventures, whether that’s a quick local walk or jumping in the car and heading somewhere new. My experience goes beyond my own dog too. I’ve helped raise a couple of litters of Hungarian Vizslas and English Springer Spaniels, and my uncle has a farm with working dogs, so I’ve been around a variety of dogs, personalities and energy levels over the years. I also volunteer with a dog charity, helping dogs socialise and build confidence before they’re ready to find their forever homes. I really enjoy getting to know each dog’s individual personality and working out what makes them happy and comfortable. I’m also happy to look after dogs for longer periods when needed, including holidays. I have a car too, so I can take dogs out to explore different walking spots and enjoy some adventures! About: Ive mostly taken care of cats and kittens since I was 7 and had a husky, Guinea pig and gerbils throughout my childhood. Now in recent times, I have a family senior dog that I take on walks and a cat that loves going on walks too. I am currently working part time since I do have a cat of my own and will be mostly available any day of the week as long as I don’t have anything planned. In my home I have cat safe window netting which allows me to open windows wide without the worry of my cat jumping out and escaping, along with a variety of cat toys for enrichment and cat trees.

About: Lennie and I both grew up with dogs and as soon as we moved in together, we missed them and the welcome home so much, we had to get our own dogs. Now, 30 years later and 4 dogs later, we still love sharing our home with our 4 legged furry friends. Myself and Lennie both work part time so we can arrange for one of us to be available for dog sitting, walking and taking care of our visitors. We both have very high standards in regards to looking after your dog family. We will treat them as we would our dogs - with total love and care. We will also follow all the instructions that you have given us to ensure they are incredibly well looked after. Dogs are our family and we would love for yours to join our family to.

About: I've always loved dogs and have owned my own for 4 years now , before that I always cared for my friends and families dogs too. I am a self employed person who loves to help with people pet care needs at all times that I'm available. Very flexible caring person. I have a fenced safe garden at my own house and visit several parks to walk dogs. I am more than happy to do home visits & walks aswell.

About: I’ve always been around dogs growing up, but only in my adult years have I grown to love and care for them full time. I now have my own little dog, Teddy who is the most loving and friendly chap and is great around other dogs. I communicate well, show up on time and will treat your dogs like they are my own! I work Monday - Friday so I’m always around on weekends to do drop ins and dog walks for those who have to head out on the weekend. I gather all the info i need to try not to disturb a pets routine and allow them to feel at ease around me. I will ask of any commands that need to be said, especially if you are still training your dog.

About: We’ve had our own dogs for many years, also looked after family and friends dogs. Now hoping to offer my services from home more permanently. Currently on a career break so am at home throughout the day. Am available for dog walking, home visits or boarding. Can also be available short notice. About: Hi, I’m Hayley! A lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for rescues! I grew up caring for a rescue Jack Russell with a big personality and some behavioural challenges, but he was always a perfect gentleman on walks. That experience taught me patience, understanding, and how to build trust with animals. These days, I work full time as a Kennel Assistant, where I care for dogs of all breeds and temperaments every day. I also share my home with my rescue cat Moo, who’s become my best friend and constant companion. While I can’t offer full-time pet sitting, I’m available around my shifts and will dedicate the rest of my time and attention to caring for your pets. Whether it’s dog walking, pet sitting, or drop-in visits, I bring genuine care, attention, and love to every animal I meet. I’d be honoured to help care for your furry family member like they’re one of my own! I pride myself in being a trustworthy person and can ensure that your pet will remain safe and comfortable throughout my visits/stays. I would like to begin with a quick and free meet and greet at your convenience, so I can get to know your pet and your pet can get to know me. It is important for you to brief me on anything I need to know so that I can look after your pet in the best way. Ie: feeding and walking schedules, sleeping arrangements during overnight stays, or any ‘no go’s’ for you or your pet, as I know that every pet has their own needs. During overnight stays, in order to maintain the best safety for myself, my partner may stay with me on the odd occasion - if accepted by yourself. He may also help with walking, and visits occasionally however I am more than happy to discuss this with you before my stay.

About: I have had my dog for 6 years and love to take care of her, although it sums to be difficult during moments, it is a joy and not so hard most times. Family members have regarded me to be amazing to take care of their pets as I can provide anything they need. I am able to provide medication necessary at the right times( if given medication) and can take your pet on walks and such! I am currently in school so I am able to take care of your pet on any weeks and weekends that are needed. Your pet will be looked after 24/7. Although I don’t have a fenced yard, my neighbourhood is very safe and it is very unlikely that your pet will be disturbed in the outside, My home is a safe environment where your pet can be in comfort at all times!
