Hi, my name is Jemma - I run the five-star professional dog walking and pet care business, Meadow & Bark serving Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and Heath & Reach, Bedfordshire. I love animals and having grown up around them, I always wanted to work with them. I spent 10 years in the book publishing industry, but decided to swap book campaigns for the meadows and pine trees around Leighton Buzzard by turning my passion into my profession. I am the proud dog-mum to my energetic and smart Goldador Pippa and a ginger boy with serious cattitude, Oscar. As someone who has relied on pet services in the past, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust completely—and who will love and care for your pets as much as you do whilst you're not able to be with them. When it comes to dog walking, my care for your dog's wellbeing goes beyond physical exercise. I ensure our outdoor adventure is mindful on joints (no excessive ball throwing here!) and I watch body language closely to make sure they are 100% comfortable. As my main priority is to keep your dog's tail wagging, group walks focus on carefully matching dogs with similar personalities and energy levels, to ensure that everyone has the best time sniffing and exploring the great outdoors. Jemma is an absolute star! We hired her to look after our cat whilst we were away getting married and he absolutely adores her. He’s a nervous cat and shy with people but he completely blossomed with her and the photos and videos we got were just so so cute. She also cleaned our house for us which was just such a kind thing to come back to. We could not give her six stars or we would!
Jemma was great at looking after our cats , they both warmed to her and while away we received photos and videos of their interactions, esp lovely as being cats they are picky about who they interact with !
Jemma was amazing - very professional and the cats loved her. She kept us updated and put our minds at rest with lots of picture and video updates so we could enjoy our holiday! We returned to two very happy cats and tidy home!

We highly recommend Jemma. She took wonderful care of our cat, Freya, and kept us updated with detailed report cards and photos. She managed the food, water, and litter perfectly. It was a relief knowing Freya was in such good hands!

Schedule
I run the professional dog walking and pet care business, Meadow & Bark so this is my full-time job! I live in the heart of Leighton Buzzard and have experience with both cats and dogs (I own both!).

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements before I pop in. Do they socialise with other dogs, how are they with puppies. Do they have good recall and can they be let off lead?
