About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 7 and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I’m currently training to be a dog groomer, so I’m confident handling dogs of different sizes and personalities. Because I have a reactive dog at home, I’m unfortunately unable to offer pet care in my own house, but I’m more than happy to provide care in your home or other agreed settings. I’m patient, attentive and always make sure dogs feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I care for animals every day. Alongside owning dogs since childhood and living on a farm, I’m also training to be a dog groomer, so handling, coat care, and general wellbeing are part of my routine. Dogs in my care receive regular attention, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. Care is always personalised to each dog. When caring for dogs in my home, they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and a home-from-home experience. When caring for dogs in their own home, I stick closely to their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I’m also training to be a dog groomer, so I’m confident with handling and general grooming needs.

Paulo and Francisco were amazing with my dog Purdey- she’s scared of everything and can be grumpy with other dogs but they put me at ease on the meet and greet and then when I dropped Purdey off for her stay. They kept me updated throughout the sit with photos and information about how she was getting on, eating, sleeping and I enjoyed receiving pictures of her. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
