“This was the first time we let Evie our 12 year old chihuahua stay away from home without a family member so you can imagine how anxious we were. “Sonny & Luna our sproker spaniels had a lovely 1 night stay with William and his wife. From arrival Sonny & Luna were able to go searching and sniffing freely in the large garden and house. Sonny quickly found the toy box and played one of his favourite games of emptying it one toy at a time and hiding them around the garden. They were taken on walks and we had videos and photos sent to us regularly over the 24 hours. Thank you William, I would definately recommend and confidently use you again to care for my spaniels”

“Imogen looked after my cats for the first time recently, and I could not recommend her more highly. I have seven cats, all with very different personalities and needs. Some are extremely high-maintenance, some are incredibly friendly, others are very shy, and three of them have epilepsy and require close monitoring. It can definitely be a bit overwhelming for someone who isn’t used to a busy multi-cat household, but Imogen handled everything amazingly. From the moment she came for a meet-and-greet, it was obvious how naturally good she is with animals. Two of my cats immediately gravitated towards her, which I think says everything, as cats are usually very good judges of character! All of the cats absolutely loved her, and I felt completely reassured knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. About: I've had dogs in my life since I was born and over the last 20 years have rescued many. From pups to gorgeous oldies, the oldest we rescued was 17. All different sizes and breeds. Dogs are just a magnet to me when I see them, I love them all! I hadn't had a dog since 2023 as I just didn't think I could go through the heartbreak of losing another, after my last lab - they really are part of the family x However, in March, an elderly neighbour had to go into assisted living and couldn't take his beloved dog, so we took on Pixie! Pixie made me realise how much I have been missing out and we love her - such a gentle soul. Pixie is 11 and absolutely guttingly has cancer (and I feel dementia), so she sleeps most of the time, but is in no pain and loves to be with us. The reason for me deciding to become a dogsitter is because Pixie seems to love the company of other dogs and I thought it might be nice for her (and of course me!). Pixie would not want a dog who jumped all over her - but I think it would be lovely for us both! I work from home and have an office in the garden - so we can keep each other company! As well as the fenced garden, we also have 3 acres. We decided to downsize and live in a small but lovely lodge - cosy!! Your baby will be well looked after and I can follow any rules you have, medications needed, etc. They are quite welcome to share the sofa and bed with us (if that is what they are used to), as long as we can fit on too!! It is hard to leave your dog, I know - I've been upset to leave mine that needed it, at the groomers even! I would really want you to come and check us out first and get to know me & Pixie!

I’m working from home, with plenty of gaps in between for toilet breaks and walks in the park - I like to get away from my desk when I can and would love for your dog to join me. I’ve been house sitting for a number of years, both through Rover (please check my reviews) and word of mouth from my existing clients. I will care for your home as if it is my own. I am happy to discuss carrying out tasks unrelated to your pup, too.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and have lots of experience caring for them, including taking them to appointments and giving medication when needed. I live in a lovely town surrounded by lots of green spaces and beautiful nature walks, making it a great place for dogs to explore and enjoy plenty of exercise. I’m caring, responsible and would treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m currently working a part-time job, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. About: I'm currently a university student missing her dog back at home who I've been caring for him since he was a puppy. Even before that I have always had love for dogs and all other furry animals. I have lots of experience with various dogs and pets as I have been petsitting and dog walking for friends for several years now. With my dog, I take a special interest in his veterinary care and I'm comfortable with administering medication as I have had to manage this for two years now. I am currently a student and only work part time, so I am flexible and have much time to really take an interest in your pet for long walks, pet sitting in the day and occasional overnight petsitting! I will be happy to look after your furry friend in the pet owner's home.
