I can’t thank Kirsten enough for the excellent care she gave our two “girls”. Ginger is elderly and has special needs so finding someone who is willing to take on that challenge is a real blessing to me! I will most definitely use Kirsten again as I have complete peace of mind when my girls are in her care!

Stephanie is an amazing animal care taker! She completely spoiled Kula, my Labrador Mix. Kula made herself at home and comfortable. She stayed in constant contact with video and picture updates. She asked me if Kula was allowed on couches and beds. I agreed to making that exception since we were out and just wanted her happy and not lonely. Kula totally fell in love with Stephanie (as did my 4 year old human. Thank you so very very much Stephanie! I truly recommend her for anyone's first time or any animal you need to be in good care! Will ask Stephanie again to babysit for future dog boarding!

About: I have done drop in and overnight care for family member's pets for many years. I am a life long animal lover and have cats and/or dogs my whole life. I also did some volunteer care at an animal shelter while in college. I am a stay at home mom of three (9, 7, and 5 year olds) kids who also love animals so I have the availability to provide a lot of time and attention. I have a fenced in yard in a beautiful country setting and two playmates for your pup. Robin is 13 year old chocolate lab mix, who we rescued from the roadside. She gave birth to 8 puppies about 2 months later and we were able to find loving homes for them all. We also have Emmett, who is a shepherd/spaniel mix that we adopted as a puppy during covid. He can be shy around new people, but loves to play with any dog he has met.

About: With over 25 years of experience caring for and loving dogs, I understand that every pet deserves to feel safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, drop-in visit, doggie daycare, boarding, overnight care, or simply some extra companionship, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I also have experience administering medications, providing basic training reinforcement, and caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs. I welcome dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Communication is very important to me, so you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages throughout your pet’s stay so you always know how they’re doing. My home features a secure fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play, explore, and relax. Located on a quiet dead-end road, it’s a peaceful and safe environment where your dog can feel comfortable and at home. If your pet is happiest in their own surroundings, I’m also happy to provide care in your home. Maintaining your dog’s normal routine helps reduce stress and separation anxiety while giving you peace of mind that they’re receiving the same love and attention they get every day. Your pets aren’t just clients—they’re family, and they’ll always be treated with the same love, patience, and care I’d give my own. I am currently working from home and my availability is very flexible. I can assure that your furbaby (s) is in the best hands and I prioritize their needs above my own I have a fenced in yard with shelter and water. I live on a dead end road so very quiet and safe. Your furbabies will have fun running and playing outdoors and indoors! About: What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals and my experience as a stay-at-home dog mom. I'm skilled in training puppies, providing gentle care for seniors, and creating a fun, safe environment for all pets. With a fully fenced yard and a commitment to personalized attention, I offer a loving and reliable service that ensures your furry friends feel right at home. As a stay-at-home dog mom, pet care is totally woven into my daily routine. Mornings start with feeding , followed by playtime in our fenced yard. Afternoons include training sessions or trips to the park, and evenings wind down with cuddles and bedtime routines. It's a full-time job, but every tail wag and happy bark makes it worth it! As a stay-at-home dog mom, my two pups have the run of our fully fenced yard, complete with toys, water, and shaded spots for those sunny Ohio days. Daily life includes plenty of playtime, regular walks, and lots of cuddles. When I visit clients' homes, I bring that same level of care and respect, ensuring their pets get the love and attention they need while maintaining the cleanliness and order of their space.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Uhrichsville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
