I have a 3-year-old French Bulldog who has taught me just how important patience, routine, and lots of love are when caring for pets. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just wants someone to keep them company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I know how much our pets mean to us, and I'll treat yours like they're part of my own family! I typically only work from 8am-12pm and I normally have multiple off-days per week. It's easy for me to be flexible in terms of care! I live in Nulu and have a great, safe walking route for Celo and I. About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs through family and personal experience! I’ve pet sat for my brother’s four large dogs in his home, making sure they were fed, exercised, given plenty of attention, and kept on their normal routine while he was away. My sister recently adopted a puppy and I puppy sit him overnight every other weekend as well, I help potty train and with socializing him. I live in a spacious four-bedroom condo-style apartment with access to a fenced-in dog park, giving dogs a secure place to play, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. When caring for pets in my home, I do my best to keep them on their usual routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by their owner. When I’ve cared for my siblings’ dogs, they’ve slept in bed with me (if that’s what they’re used to), and I bring them with me whenever it’s appropriate so they’re rarely left alone. I enjoy having them by my side and giving them plenty of love, attention, and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I’ll follow all care instructions closely, provide lots of affection and playtime, and send regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life, have taken training courses, read books on positive training practices, and volunteered at shelters. I am a writer who works from home with a 3 year old 12.5lb playful doxie/terrier mix who needs walks early and often — so much of my day is spent on slow sniffaris and trips to the park. I live alone in a large apartment with several plush dog beds strewn about, so there is plenty of space to stretch and play — and my couch sits along three large windows where dogs can perch to watch the passersby. If your dog needs a sitter or a sleepover, I’d love to have them — and my little pup would love it even more. Since I’m around all day, I’m available to meet your dog’s special needs — administering medicine, adhering to feeding times, playing tug of war, whatever the case may be. We have warm and happy home full of natural treats waiting for you and your dog. I work from home and so am available to fulfill your dog’s needs without bother! I never leave my own dog for more than a few hours at a time so you can rest easy knowing your dog is getting the focus and energy they need. Dogs in my home get many daily walks, at least one trip to the park every day — and most of all sensitive and informed care. My family makes fun of me for how attentive I am to my own dog, brushing his teeth and treating him with healthy snacks, watching him closely for changes in behavior and physical afflictions. Your dog would receive the same care (plus or minus the teeth brushing). And you will receive as many photos as you can handle ensuring they are having fun.
