Availability
I work primarily from home, but do complete some home visits with clients in the community during the week. I am typically only away from my home for a couple of hours at a time on those occasions. I have a great deal of experience as a pet owner and want to ensure that your furry friend is comfortable and enjoys their stay away from home. I am willing to maintain any schedules you have regarding feeding, walks, etc. and will provide lots of love and attention during their stay.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced back yard and am able to accommodate walks during the day as well. Animals have access to my couch and bed, but I also have numerous pet beds they can use. I have several baby gates to separate pets as needed and to secure the area around the front door to prevent escapes.

Information Kaitlin W. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog have any food/toy aggression? Any issues with chewing or marking? Is your dog crate trained or do they prefer to roam? I do not require dogs to be crate trained, provided they are house trained and do not have a history of chewing/getting into things. If your pup is crate trained, though, I do request that you bring their crate for stays. What is your exercise/feeding routine? Does your dog have any special care, needs, or allergies? Please bring food for their stay and any special treats if they have specific dietary restrictions. I always have a variety of treats that we can share, but want to make sure your pets don’t have any allergies.
A typical day
We like to play fetch in the yard most days when the weather is nice and also have a couple of nearby parks where we go if we want longer walks. I have a variety of types of toys available as well.

Pet care experience
I live with my dog, Buddy, in a 3 bedroom home in the Clifton neighborhood. Buddy is a 12 year-old English Springer Spaniel mix. Buddy loves playing with other dogs, but also is fine with leaving them alone if they’re not interested. BREED RESTRICTIONS: I love all dogs and can accommodate most; unfortunately, however, I do have to abide by the breed restrictions in place for my current home and cannot watch the following breeds (pure bred or mixed): German Shepherds, Pit Bull Terriers, Cane Corsos, Rottweilers, Staffordshire Terriers, Akitas, Mastiffs, Great Danes, or Doberman Pinschers.
