House Sitting in Turtle Lake

About: Since childhood, I have always had a special connection with animals, always drawn to them. I have cared for cats, dogs, and other small critters since I can remember. I am now the proud owner of 4 large dogs, 5 cats, a lionhead rabbit, and fish. I also have experience working as a vet assistant for the last five years and have a keen eye for paying attention to the needs of our beloved fur babies. Along with experience, I am obtaining a certification as a veterinary technician, just completing my first year of a two-year program. I am currently a full-time college student, free for the summer, and have plenty of flexibility. Don't be afraid to reach out! I love animals! I stick to schedule feedings, potty breaks, and routines set by owners. Bonus: I will provide lots of belly rubs, attention, and treats if allowed.

“Great communication throughout the whole process. Had a hiccup with my St Bernard, but it was a 50/50 chance on the sitting working out. We just moved to a new town, street, and house, so the doggos stress was too high. We'll definitely give it another try in the future!”

My golden retriever husky recently passed, but I have lots of experience with puppies & hyper dogs! I just have classes at UK, so lots of free time outside of class time! “Amanda went beyond the call of duty caring for our two dogs, who are quite comfortable at home but had never been watched by a stranger for an extended period of time (18 days). Both dogs took right to Amanda. She supplied text and photo updates throughout our time away. She followed instructions to the letter and didn't hesitate to ask questions or suggest an idea if it came up. The house was spotless when we got back, and the dogs were happy. There's no question we'll seek out Amanda again if the need arises. We don't think you'll find a better sitter.”
