“Mikaela was amazing! Flexible with our changing schedule. She sent us updates and photos multiple times throughout the day which made us feel more comfortable about leaving our fur baby behind. The kennels were spotless and the run area was large and well kept. We would definitely use her again.”

“Laura was excellent in every single way. Communication was fantastic, she looked out for the well-being of our pup, and she was very kind. Highly recommend and will rebook again soon.”

“We left our English Cocker at Dogwood for his first ever sleepover and Watts could not have been happier! After experiencing daycare at Dogwood, he could not wait to get back to his new friends! Giselle and Jeff go out of their way to ensure the parents are as at ease as the dogs. Great communication and loving care. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend!”

“Tara was great with Trapper. She was super flexible and easy to work with and sent several pics so we knew he was having fun and being well taken care of. We weren’t sure if he’d be ok playing with her dogs, but they were super sweet and immediately accepted him as part of the group. He had a blast while we were away.”

About: I have been pet-sitting both cats and dogs for friends and family for many years. I have handled dogs large and small. I provide plenty of activity for high-energy pets or a calm, relaxing, quiet environment for those who may be nervous or shy. Your pet will get plenty of cuddles and love with me! I am available for boarding or sitting weekdays after 5pm and all weekend. I do have a fenced in yard as well as a large indoor crate if your pet is okay with alone time during my workdays. I have a fenced in yard on a large lot, as well as a crate indoors if needed. I keep a very close watch on your pet, and they will be out of the crate unless needed or preferred by you. I can set the pet bed (or crate) up in the bedroom with me or in a separate empty guest room if they prefer alone time. I am knowledgeable on safety measures for pets as I have been a pet owner for 11+ years.

“Joyce was a pleasure to work with. I felt really comfortable leaving my pack with her. There is a big yard for the dogs to frolic in and the boys were able to stay in a room and play together with out mixing with other dogs. My pack can be a little quirky and she was able to roll with their personalities wonderfully. Her daily updates were hilarious and it felt like she cared for my boys like they were her own.”

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals, but I have always had a soft spot for dogs. I currently have a senior pup at home who is living his best life. In addition to caring for our family pets, I have helped family and friends care for their furry family members. Bringing in your pet to my home is a great way for me to love on as many furry friends as possible! I currently work full time job so I am currently only available on the weekends, Friday - Monday. I provide boarding, dogs walks and drop in visits. My home has a fenced yard, a little guy named Buddy to play with (if he chooses) most of the time he likes to stay to himself! We can play fetch, go on walks around the neighborhood or just chill. This will all depend on what your pet likes the most! Your pet will be crated when I go out and at night for their safety!
About: I've been caring for animals of all types my entire life and I know how much of an important part they play in your family. I've had lots of pet sitting jobs in the past and now I'm looking to turn my passion for animals into a side business. You can rest easy and be assured on your trip or vacation that "fido" will be safe and sound in a loving environment whether it be yours or mine. I have over 20+ years of experience with animals of all sorts ranging from newborn babies to geriatric animals. About: Since a little girl, there has always been dogs inside or outside of the house. As of right now, I have six dogs all different sizes, ages, and personalities. Therefore, I am very comfortable handling anything from energetic puppies to senior pups who need a gentler space. I understand how to manage multiple dogs at once and read their body language to make sure each one gets the care they need. Because of that, I am patient, adaptable, and used to real life situations. I treat every animal like they are my own regardless of where I am (why I have 6 lol), and make sure they feel safe and loved. I am currently a freshman in college who is fully online. Therefore, I have plenty of time on my hands to play with your pups and get what they need! During the summer time, I will be doing this full time as I will be on break. I have a large yard with many pups yours can play with. If needed, I can easily crate your dog if that is what you prefer, however, all dogs are welcome on the furniture here. I also have a quieter space for the older, wanting to sleep dogs🙂

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Turnerville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Turnerville.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Turnerville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
