About: I’ve taken care of animals and pets my entire life, also grew up on a farm. I’ve done pet sitting for 5 plus years. I love what I do & I am a huge animal lover!! My schedule is flexible at the moment to do drop in visits or possibly even overnight pet care for a single night or a few days. Feeding time, play time, walks, potty time, medication administering if necessary. I am able to take care of all ages of pets, and I understand special needs as well.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young child, my passion for animals encouraged me to pursue a career working with animals. In recent years I have worked animal husbandry caring for domestic pets, exotic big cats, wolves, snakes, birds and more. I am comfortable working with all sizes of dogs and as well as other species. I have 5 years vet tech experience so can help with medical issues and medications as needed. I am fully available except when I’m out of town helping my sick father (usually a week each month). I can check in as frequently or long as you need, but I do have an older 30lb (dog friendly) pup who needs medications twice daily and I am the only one that can provide those to him. If he cannot be with me while providing other pets care then I will need to return to him once morning and evening to ensure he is taken care of. Can stay overnight preferably only one night at a time so I can return to my pets. I have recently moved so no longer have a fenced yard, but have a large home with dog runs on trees in the backyard. I have an easy going 30lb Pomeranian mutt named Teddy. My dog is very easy to get along with other dogs, as I have fostered and watched other animals numerous times in the years of me having him. I watch my brother’s pitbull mix named Hercules on a regular basis as well. I do have cats so would prefer if they were used to them, but have an area of my home doggy gated off so they can feel safe when other pets visit my home.
About: I have had dogs and a couple cats, I would say that I am fairly knowledgeable about typical animal behavior. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Owned horses and have been around an assortment of other animals throughout my life. Currently work full-time but I am about to not be working full time and would like to do dog walking/hiking and such full-time. I will be available throughout the week at anytime of day. Hoping to allow dog sitting at some point in the future for clients as well. I have a fenced back yard and give them ample exercise. I have learned that biking is one of the best things for a dog, especially high energy dogs but also any dog really. They get lots of petting and one on one playing throughout the day as well.

What sets me apart is that I work remotely, which allows me to be present with pets throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. This gives me the availability to respond to their needs, routines, and energy levels. I’ve had experience with animals for many years. I previously owned a black lab named Aurora, and I currently have an orange cat of my own. I also have regularly helped care for my mother’s two dogs — a Maltese Schnauzer and a Golden Retriever — and I’ve looked after my sister’s dog multiple times in the past as well. Animals tend to gravitate toward me because I pay close attention to their body language, boundaries, and personalities. I’m very mindful of their cues and comfort levels, which helps me understand what they need more or less from me. If I’m housesitting, I’m practically readily available. I work a full-time remote job that would allow me to be present and handle the tasks needed to care for your pets. I would have time to see them in intervals multiple times a day with no problem and with plenty of time for play. But if I do drop in visits, I can do 2-3 drop in’s a day. 1st at 7:00-8:00a, 2nd at 11a-1:30p and 3rd at 4:30p-10p - depending on my work schedule and the daily demand. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the understanding that it is first and foremost your pet’s home and safe environment. I’m very respectful of both the home and the routines that your pet is used to. I keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and house rules. I aim to maintain the same peaceful atmosphere your pet is used to. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for, while also treating your home with the same respect I would my own.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
