About: In addition to having mastered a course in veterinary assisting, I am a cat foster parent active in rescue, and a vegetarian to boot. Your pets are safe in my loving hands. Currently, my availability is flexible. I have the luxury of making my own schedule and working from home while caring for my own menagerie of rescue pets already. About: My name is Jessica and I am a graduate from Tarleton State University with a degree in Biomedical Science and a Pre-Vet concentration. I was raised on a farm consisting of many different animals such as sheep, goats, horses, mules, chickens dogs and cats! I clearly love all types of animals and work very well with them. I’m super patient and I’m experienced in handling aggressive/anxious dogs and even those spicier cats. All my life I’ve lived with at least 3 dogs at a time. Currently I care for 5 dogs in total - I live in a ranch - so unfortunately I won’t be able to care for any here at my home. I currently work at Equine Veterinary Services in Terrell and plan on going to vet school in the next year - animals are my everything. We do have a kennel if needed and if staying overnight, the kennel stays in my room with me. I will adhere to the owners wishes as far as feedings go.
