About: Hey there my name is Danielle, I have taken care of dogs of all ages ranging from puppies going through their first heat to senior dogs with lack of abilities. Growing up I had all sorts of pets in my home and enjoyed sitting and dog walking in my neighborhood. Also one of my first jobs was at a dog boarding and day care facility. I love all breeds of dogs and cats and just want to keep them happy and healthy and have a fun time. I am new to the area and do not have a set schedule yet. I am free during most week days during typical working hours. I love the outdoors so any chance to get some sunshine. I have a fenced backyard, and my dog is friendly. I do not leave dogs unattended outside because I want to be sure they won't try to escape the yard or dig holes. When in a client's home I am sure to read all instructions given prior to my drop in. About: I have always loved and cared for animals. My personal experience actually started with my first love Sancho- a rescue chi that taught me how to manage and care for a dog that had been abused and needed special attention. At the end of his life he dealt with congestive heart failure so was on several medications, and peanut butter was the only way he would take them. I also became proficient at administrating medications. Really hard to lose a pet but just makes you realize how much love they provide you. Thoughout the years I have cared for friends and family’s animals while they were out of town or housesat for them as well. My latest adventures have been with Trusted Housesitters, and the past 3 months I have been graced to travel far and wide taking care of people’s pets and homes while they were able to relax and travel themselves knowing I was keeping their house and pets safe and sound. My experience included spending time and caring for all different types of dogs and different personalities from bull terriers, mixed breeds, frenchies, sherpards down to tea cup poodles all sizes and breeds. The responsibilities included feeding, administering meds, exercising and caring for the owners pets while I was staying in their home. I truly found my passion in life caring and loving for pets. About: I have experience with cats and dogs of many different kinds! I have taken care of both geriatric & adolescent aged animals. The back yard is great for quick rest-stop needs (eg, if nature calls in the middle of the night) and on beautiful days it's nice to just hang out there and watch the squirrels and birds in the trees. My experience administering medication I'm comfortable administering oral and noninvasive medications, but not comfortable doing injections. When I'm caring for a pet I really enjoy their company, so spend most of the time hanging out with them or taking them places with me, if appropriate depending on the pet. If your pet has special needs like separation anxiety or a strict medication schedule, I plan my schedule around their care and comfort. I have a big, fully fenced back yard that is wonderful for sniffing around, playing fetch, watching birds and squirrels, and hanging out together when the weather's nice. I graduated from Ole Miss. Lived in Nashville, Tennessee, for four years. I lived in Utah for 28 years. And I moved to South Carolina, September, 2024, just before Hurricane Helene welcomed me to the area! Like people, each and every pup is different, so each and every booking comes with more experience that helps me learn and grow. I’m able to customize the care for each doggie. I’ve received some professional training for different dog breeds, temperaments, behavioral responses, and dog grooming. I receive additional education from a multitude of resources, all to ensure your babies are safe, comfortable and happy. In my lifetime I have had lots of different pets in my home, from being a child up until now. My first pet was a grey Mini Schnauzer named Gretchen. Other dogs: Scarlett the Irish Setter, Shawn the Irish Setter, Wrigley the white Lab, Mandy the Cocker Spaniel, Jackson the black and white Shi Tzu, Sam the English cream Golden Retriever, Chrissy the belenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Manning the ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I pet them, talk with them, play with them, groom and walk them regularly. They are allowed on the sofa and our bed but our dogs do happily sleep in their crates at night. About: I’ve taken care of my senior, adopted dog. He required special care as he came to us with a lot of emotional scarring. I loved on him until the end and he became my soul dog. We also got a puppy when he was 12 weeks old. So I have experience dealing with puppy energy and house training. I am working from home right now, and have a very open schedule. I can come morning, afternoon and evenings. I’m even comfortable with late nights. I am comfortable feeding, providing medicine and basic health care needs. I live in a house with no fence so I am very comfortable walking dogs.

About: We’ve had our puppy since he was 8 weeks old! We’ve potty trained him and taught him to do basic skills and to be very obedient. He could run outside and come back immediately when we call if he gets out. I am a stay at home mom. We have a 3 year old German shepherd that is low maintenance so plenty of time to help other furry friends. Also open to bringing him along for play dates, he is super friendly! We are working on a fence but for now either let our dog out the back yard to potty or play with our supervision or place him on the lead for short periods of time. He runs freely inside and has food/water in bowl at all times during the day.
