Fear Reactive & Confidence Focus
I became a trainer because of my dog Oubre, who developed fear-based reactivity after an off-leash attack. Working with multiple trainers and starting at PetSmart, I learned to combine positive reinforcement with clear communication, motivation, and structure to address complex behaviors. I’m an AKC CGC evaluator, working on obedience, off-leash reliability, and behavior modification. Each dog gets a customized, low-stress plan to build confidence and real-world success.

What to expect
Consultation
During a consultation, I review your dog’s history, routine, and behavioral concerns, then observe their body language and reactions. If needed, I may use my demo dog to safely assess social or reactive behaviors. I explain what I see, why behaviors occur, and outline a clear plan with recommended tools, session estimates, home practice, and ongoing support to help you and your dog succeed.
Sessions
During sessions, we work hands-on with your dog while coaching you step by step using positive reinforcement. You’ll bring high-value treats and your dog’s favorite toys to build focus and engagement. Each session is tailored to your goals—basic obedience, confidence building, or behavior modification—and I’ll guide you on using tools in a humane, low-stress way when appropriate. Training may take place at home, outdoors, or in dog-friendly public spaces to build real-world skills. Between sessions, you’ll practice simple, clear exercises to support consistent progress.
More info
My training philosophy is rooted in positive reinforcement and compassionate communication. I focus on building strong food and play drive to create engagement and make learning enjoyable. For behavior modification, I carefully observe each dog’s body language and emotional state, adjusting training to stay within their comfort and learning threshold. I use rewards, play, and clear management strategies to guide behavior and help owners communicate effectively. This approach builds confidence, strengthens skills, and deepens the bond between dogs and their people.

Availability
I’m very flexible with my schedule. I’m generally available most weekday mornings and afternoons, and Saturday afternoons as well. I do my best to accommodate different schedules and am happy to work with pet parents to find a time that works best for everyone.
