Happy dog happy life
What sets me apart as a trainer is that I’ve moved beyond a one-size-fits-all approach. After the loss of my own dog, I stepped away from ego and assumptions, and I learned to truly listen—to their body language, their subtle cues, and their needs. I don’t just apply techniques; I connect with each dog on their level, seeing the world through their eyes. By speaking their language—through calm observation and empathy—I help them feel understood, which is the foundation of lasting trust and growth.

Consultation
In a typical consultation, my priority is to build a deep understanding of the dog. I begin by gathering essential medical information and the dog’s history—where they came from, any health concerns, and their daily routine. As I take in this background, I observe the dog’s behavior, body language. Together, we review realistic and achievable steps, ensuring the training plan aligns with both the dog’s needs and the family’s lifestyle. This collaborative process allows us to set a clear, personalized plan that we can both commit to and trust will create lasting, positive change.
Sessions
I avoid overly rigid structures, as dogs naturally thrive on spontaneity and variety. By the end, I help them settle with calm affection, reinforcing the bond we’ve built, so they leave feeling secure and happy.
More info
I always prioritize positive reinforcement, as I believe it is the most effective way for dogs to learn and build trust. Ultimately, while dogs are incredibly intelligent, the foundation of effective training is trust. No amount of “yes” or “no” will truly shape behavior if it isn’t backed by a strong bond. I prioritize building trust and respect through consistency, clear boundaries, and mutual understanding. When that trust is established, the dog becomes more attuned to my guidance, and the training truly flourishes.

Availability
In terms of scheduling, I prefer training in open, distraction-free areas, like a field, where the dog can focus. While I’m flexible on the day, I prefer evening sessions, as it’s cooler and easier on both dog and handler. The exact location depends on the dog’s needs—indoors for house training, outdoors for active skills. I remain attentive to each dog’s response, and if I notice reactivity, I adjust the environment to keep distractions low, ensuring a calm, focused session.
