Positive Training Builds Confidence
What sets me apart is my focus on understanding each dog as an individual. Every dog has a unique personality, learning style, and motivation, so I tailor training to fit the dog and family rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. My training is based on positive reinforcement and clear communication. I reward behaviors we want to see more often, helping dogs learn faster while building confidence and trust. Reward-based training creates a positive learning experience and strengthens the bond between dogs and their humans.

Consultation
During the consultation, I focus on understanding both you and your dog so we can create a training plan that fits your goals. We start by discussing your dog’s history, routine, and behaviors you’d like to improve. I then observe your dog’s behavior and responses to basic cues to understand their temperament and training level. We’ll practice a few simple exercises together so you can learn the techniques. Please bring treats, a leash or harness, and any questions. After the consultation, you’ll receive a personalized plan and simple exercises to practice at home.
Sessions
A typical session is positive, structured, and focused on helping both you and your dog learn together. We start by reviewing progress and any challenges since the last session. I demonstrate techniques and guide you as you practice with your dog. Each session focuses on one or two skills—such as leash walking, focus, recall, or calm behavior. Training uses positive reinforcement, rewarding desired behaviors with treats, praise, toys, or play so dogs repeat them and gain confidence. You’ll receive simple exercises to practice between sessions so your dog continues improving at home.
More info
My training philosophy is based on positive reinforcement and clear communication. I teach dogs what to do rather than punishing mistakes. Desired behaviors are rewarded with treats, praise, play, or other rewards the dog enjoys. Reward-based training encourages dogs to repeat good behaviors and helps build confidence and trust. I believe effective training starts with understanding each dog as an individual. I tailor the training plan to fit the dog and family. My approach focuses on clear cues, short engaging sessions, and building a strong bond between dogs and their humans.
