Train the fun way. Fur real.
My aim for every pet parent is to make training something to look forward to and not a chore. Pet parents and I will go over our goals and create a training plan that will incorporate games, challenges and pratical real-situation training to economize on time.

Consultation
My consultations run like introductory training sessions. I spend the first 45 minutes getting to know your dog, their environment, routines and diets, relevant toys and sleeping arrangements. Afterwards, we devise a plan for what will be taught, the exercises to be done, and other relationship-building activities to work on in between lessons. For the reminder of the time, we’ll take your most pressing issue and go over some exercises and activities to work it out together.
Sessions
Each session, including the consultation, is typically 90 minutes long. The client is expected to remain with the dog and the trainer throughout the session. The trainer will serve as both teacher and coach, so unless indicated otherwise, the client is expected to participate. The client should have soft, aromatic treats that the dog likes on hand, as well as a 6 ft non-retractable leash, a 20 foot long line and a regular collar. The trainer will recap at the end, and the client will be told to practice these exercises and activities between sessions.
More info
I am a rewards-based trainer who also uses clicker as part of my positive reinforcement system for more efficient retention of concepts. Games and challenges designed to encourage bonding are part of my toolbox.

Availability
Tuesdays from 10:30am-7pm are generally my best days to train in home, although other days can be considered. Fridays are next best between 10:30am and 5:30pm, but these are usually more in demand. Same with Saturdays after 5pm. The rest of the week, excluding Wednesdays, is generally assigned to sessions at my place of business.
