Companionship at it's finest!

Successful training, to me, isn't just a dog performing on command. It's a dog and an owner who can move through the world together as partners who are poised, respectful, confident, and calm. I should also mention that I'm not just training your dog. I'm training and coaching you, too. The owner who can read a situation and tap into a stress-tested skillset is the owner whose dog succeeds long after our sessions end.

What to expect

Consultation

We will discuss your goals as a pet parent and dig into why you got a dog in the first place. I’ll ask questions about who provides care and what a typical day looks like. For training to be successful, we will need to find the areas where you and your pup can make reasonable adjustments for better overall outcomes.

Sessions

Typically in your home

During a session, I'm working with both ends of the leash. I want to meet your dog as they actually are, not a rehearsed version, and I want to hear from you honestly: what's working, what's hard, what you're hoping to accomplish with coaching. The only thing required of you is honesty. Come ready to talk openly about what feels frustrating or even embarrassing.

Positive Reinforcement

Every walk, every greeting, every hard moment is a chance to build a skill — and the goal isn't perfection, it's progress. Positive over negative, better over perfect. That's the standard. Every pet and every parent is different, so I don't bring a one-size-fits-all method. What I bring is consistent: kindness, discipline, and clarity. Kindness, because fear and shame don't build lasting behavior — trust does. Discipline, because clear structure is what makes a dog, and an owner, feel safe enough to succeed. Clarity, because your dog should always know exactly what's being asked of them.
